Chapter 150
Miles and miles aways from where Jenna stood at Privet Drive, Tonks and Remus were on their mission for the Order with the beautiful twilight sky above them. They were asked to stay low near a known Death Eater's house, so they could spy on him and then attack whenever the perfect timing arrived.
"I don't think Travers is home yet," Tonks whispered, glancing up carefully from where they had stayed ambushed in the woods.
"Well, then this is the perfect opportunity," said Remus, his voice as low as possible. "The moment he arrives, we can attack."
"I agree, but what if it takes hours for him to arrive? Should we go back to the Order or wait for him?" Tonks questioned.
"I say let's wait a few more hours," Remus suggested, and Tonks nodded in agreement.
"All right." Tonks sighed, relaxing slightly more.
They sat in silence for long minutes and both listened around carefully for any sound that could mean that Travers had arrived.
"What duty are Jenna and Sirius on tonight?" Tonks asked, finally breaking the silence once again.
"They'll stay in hiding outside the Malfoy Manor. But they won't be attacking. They just want to make sure if Malfoy's house is still the Death Eater's headquarters like it was in the last war or not," Remus explained.
"He's still handsome, isn't he, even after years in Azkaban?" said Tonks in a low mutter, glancing at Remus sideways to see his reaction.
Remus gritted his teeth together as he looked away from Tonks to avoid her eyes, a bitter feeling of envy suddenly filling him up. He wasn't surprised that even Tonks liked Sirius more than she liked him.
Before he could stop himself, Remus suddenly said in a cold voice. "He always got the women."
Tonks's head turned on him sharply at those words, the anger surging from within her. "You'd know perfectly well who I've fallen for, if you weren't too busy feeling sorry for yourself to notice."
She looked away, breathing heavily through her nostrils furiously. At those words, Remus felt his heartbeat speed up. He turned to look back at her, his mouth going dry as he stared at her direction without blinking.
He knew perfectly well what she meant by that, but he still had a hard time believing it. It was as though he thought it was impossible for someone as young and beautiful as her to return his feelings. It was hard for him to believe that anyone could ever love a werewolf like him, someone so poor and broken.
"I — I don't think this is the time to discuss this," Remus mumbled under his breath and looked away, glancing back at the direction of the Death Eater's house.
"Then when!?" Tonks snapped. "When's the right time, then? I've liked you for ages, Remus, and all you do is avoid talking about it! Well, breaking news: avoiding me isn't going to magically make my feelings for you to go away!"
"Look, I —" Remus was saying, but he abruptly came to a halt as a loud crash came from nearby.
Glancing up from where they stayed hidden in the woods, they saw Travers is the distance, who had just Apparated back to his house. Although he wasn't alone. There were five more Death Eaters with him, in their dark masks and black cloaks.
"We can't take them all alone," Tonks whispered in a barely audible voice, her eyes fixed on the six Death Eaters. "It's three to one."
Remus pursed his lips together. His heart was still beating rapidly, though only half of the reason was the Death Eaters.
"I'll send for backup," he finally said, taking out his wand briskly.

Jenna stood before the Dursley's house, her heartbeat speeding up by the second. She felt hesitant at first, despite how she had been waiting for this very moment for years. But at last, with one last deep breath, she took her cloak's hood off her head and walked forward.
Once she reached the door, Jenna rang the doorbell, waiting impatiently for someone to open the door. Her stomach gave a lurch when she thought that maybe Harry himself would open the door and see her for the first time in her true form.
Jenna bit the inside of her cheek when she heard footsteps approaching the door, and the next moment, someone opened it up.
It was Petunia.
The moment Petunia caught sight of Jenna, she was at first confused, because the woman before her looked extremely familiar. But when she thought for a second, she took a step back in shock when she realized the woman in front of her was in fact James Potter's sister and Lily's old best friend.
When after years of Harry living with them, the Dursleys didn't hear of Harry's aunt and she didn't come looking for him, they just assumed that she had died in the war. But now, after fifteen years, there she stood, looking as alive as ever.
"Y-you're — how are you — you're here —" Petunia started stuttering, glancing at Jenna in horror.
"I'm here to see Harry," Jenna said sternly, trying to hold up her face.
"Vernon! Come here! Quickly!" Patunia yelled, though she kept her eyes fixed on Jenna, afraid that she might do magic and the neighbors would see her.
Not a minute later, Vernon Dursley came forward, who had obviously been in the middle of eating something. Although the moment his eyes fell on Jenna and saw the weird and strange cloak she was wearing, he immediately knew that she was one of them.
"What is someone like you doing here?" Vernon snapped, glaring at Jenna.
"Like I said," Jenna spoke firmly, "I'm here to see Harry."
"No! I will not have one of your lot inside my house!" Vernon spat sharply, his face turning a deeper shade of pink.
"Maybe I didn't made myself clear," said Jenna, walking slowly toward them and forcefully pushing the door open wider, "I'm seeing Harry, whether you like it or not."
Vernon gritted his teeth together furiously. "Now, listen here you —"
"No, you listen here, Dursley," Jenna bellowed, taking out her wand and pointing it up right underneath his chin, "you've been horrible to Harry all his life and didn't give him the life that he deserved! You ruined his whole childhood! You ruined the perfect life that I could've given him! But I couldn't! I couldn't see my own nephew for years! But now that I'm finally free, you're the last person who can stop me from seeing him!"
Jenna's hair had turned a dark shade of red, and that was when the Dursleys' eyes widened in horror. Petunia's whole body was trembling in fear and Vernon's eyes were fixed on the tip of the wand right before his face.
With his lips slightly shaking in terror, Vernon yelled out, "Harry! HARRY! Get down here!"
With one last glare at them, Jenna retreated her wand and placed in back in her cloak. "Now I want you to leave us alone —"
She was saying, but suddenly Petunia screamed and Vernon shouted in horror when a silver light in the shape of a wolf flew through the kitchen wall and appeared before them.
Jenna knew immediately that it was Remus's Patronus.
The silver wolf then opened its mouth and spoke in Remus's voice, "We're outnumbered. We need help. Come quick."
Jenna's heart sank in her chest. She had been waiting for this moment for years. She wanted to meet Harry more than anything in this world. But her friends needed her. She had lost too many people in the war; Marlene, Alice, Lily, and her brother, and she could still clearly remember how easily Death Eaters used to kill the Order members in the last war, taking them out one by one.
Remus was one of her only old friends that she had left. Jenna couldn't possibly leave him alone when he needed her, because if anything happened to him, she would blame herself for the rest of her life, knowing that she could've been there and save him.
Once these words were spoken, the wolf disappeared from inside the house, and just then Jenna heard the upstairs room's door open. Harry was walking downstairs.
Jenna pursed her lip together, suddenly feeling nauseous out of stress. But she couldn't possibly stay, when Remus and Tonks's lives were in danger.
Jenna started hearing footsteps coming down the stairs, but she knew that she couldn't stay long enough to meet Harry properly. So cursing under her breath, she turned around and walked out of the house, Disapparating away into the night.
Soon after, Harry walked downstairs, seeing the house's door wide open and saw the horrified looks on the Dursleys' faces. He thought he had heard someone else speaking, but when he looked around, he saw nobody else.
