After bidding the last farewell to her family Kaira was heading dadly towards an uncertain future and an unknown world. She was stepping towards a world about which she knew nothing.

Daylon extended his hand in the air and a portal appeared in front of them.

"Ready Kaira"

"Yes"

Daylon walked inside it and looked at Kaira but Kaira hesitated for a second to move. She took a breath and finally gathered her courage to entered into that portal, soon portal vanished in the air. That portal opened into a different world which was completely different from Earth.

There was a mesmerizing sight in front of her eyes which she never expected at all. It was a lush and green valley and sky was filled with clouds and with beautiful rainbow, fresh wind was blowing and passing through them, her hairs flowing in the air along the wind. And then her eyes got wide with full of shock and aww... it were dragons flying in the sky.

"It's really... DRAGONS!!"

"Don't get shock Kaira. Soon in this world you get to used of these creatures but yeah!! They are dangerous, be aware." He broke her trance.

She looked at him incredulously.

"Let's go."

"I'll take you a place where I grew up and spent my childhood. It is the safest place I know."

"Fort Aurora"

"And"

"I believe, you will definitely get some answers which you are looking for"

Her heart jumped into her chest.

"Let's go" she said firmly.

They started down the raw road that leaded towards the fort Aurora. After walking half an hour they reached there.

Fort Aurora was magnificent and its atritechure was fantastic, there were huge flanked towers, courtyards and garden and since it was built near the river that also create a mesmerizing sight. Kaira never saw such fort in her life. She looked back at him

"What?" Daylon asked

"You lived here". There was a hint of disbelief in her tone.

He frowned at my her.... "Why?"

"P..p..please... don't mind".

"B..but in our world Demons were potreyed to be very evil and they showed to live in a very dark and deserted places".

She looked back at the Fort... "But it is not like that at all".

His lips curved a little bit upward.

"Well"

"You are not completely wrong by the way ...but"

"Since my mother was an Ancient Guardian so my childhood passed here, she bore here. It's my mother's home and she loved this place".

Kaira was shocked. "Your mother... an Ancient Guardian"

"Yes"

"But... she is dead now so I barely come here". He looked distant.

"I'm sorry"

"It's okey".

"What happened with your mother". Kaira could stop herself". And asked.

He looked down, his jaws clinched. "I'll tell you some other day but not today... I don't want to talk about it"

"It's okey... I just asked.."

Please if you don't want to tell then it's okey". She felt guilty because she just met him and suddenly she asked a very personal question.

"Come"

"Let's go inside". He said and quietly walked inside the fort.

"Okey". She followed him.

It was really a huge fort and there were two big courtyard, one was in the front and another was in the middle. Courtyards were decorated beautifully with climbing plants and flowers, sculptures, flags and fountains.

"She looked around.... Wow!!"

She saw all the people around there were wearing cloths which were completely different from her dress. She felt like a complete outsider. And also she realized that people who were passing by staring at her in complete shock. With a shocking look on their faces, they were whispering to each other. Suddenly she got cautious towards her looks and cloth. She drifted close to Daylon.

"Hye... Day! Is there something strange with me or my dress".

"Noooo!"

He lean his head left in her side and said. "There is nothing wrong with you. You are perfect and look fine".

"Then why people staring at me"

"Well... its because of your face. Did you forget what I said before".

"Come with me Kaira and then you will understand by yourself".

Daylon lead her to the middle courtyard. There was a picture of a girl carved on the main middle wall of the courtyard and there were two fire containers similar to the medieval brazier on the either sides of it.

Kaira's was standing there speechless because Daylon was right. Kaira really look like that girl.

"Now you believe me".

"Yes!" Her stop beating.

Meanwhile, a very old woman entered the courtyard. She looked at her in full of surprise.

"People are really right".

"You look like Ancient Guardian Kaira".

"My Child who are you". She caressed her face lovingly.

"Kaira"

"What". Her eyes got wide with the shock.

"Yes mother Mary. Her name is Kaira too and she's from Earth. Her life was in danger so I bring her with me".

"What".

"How is it possible that you have the same name". She furrows her brow.

Kaira didn't say anything..."I don't mother Mary. It was given by mother... that's is know".

"But how come she could be an Ancient Guardian".She looked more baffled.

"How come a girl from Earth could be an Ancient Guardian". She was looking at her in complete disbelief.

"Fold your sleeve my child. I have to confirm something".

Kaira folded her left hand sleeves upto shoulder.

"Oh my god!"

"You... you really are an Ancient Guardian"

"And the pattern and the colour of you tattoo shows that it is not very common at all". It was black and green tattoo on her entire left hand.

"I have never seen such pattern in my life".

"But how..."

"How is it possible".

"According to the prophecy... Ancient Guardian Kaira would be reincarnate to full her promise and to find the forgotten treasure which will ensure the victory of light over darkness".

"It is believed"

"No...not believed.. or should I say people from numerous years wating for her to reincarnate here because she belonged to this world".

"Mother Mary she is reincarnation of Kaira". Daylon said firmly.

"I don't say now clearly my child"

"And we shouldn't jump on any conclusion without a clear indication or proof".

"I think you both must be get tired... get some rest and then we will take about it later".

"In our world.. neither anyone allowed to go to Earth nor anyone allowed to be here from Earth .. it is forbidden, against the rules".

"Since"

"You are an Ancient Guardian it is enough for you to live here with us. We protect everyone who seeks our protection and when you are one of ous it's my duty to protect you". Mother Mary said with Kaira lovingly.

They both noded her and then Daylon led her towards the restroom.

It was night time and Kaira badly missed her family, she was sitting in the garden, crying. She was feeling lonely, here she was completely alone. She wanted to hug her mom tightly and wanted to cry. She was thinking about the well being of her brothers.

In the middle of her thought she heard foot steps behind her.. she quickly looked back and found it was Daylon. He came to her and sit next to her.

"Missing your world and family".

"I'm not going to say stop crying.. even I say cry as long as you want this way your heart get some peace in the end".

She looked at him .... her eyes had turned red.

He wiped her tears.... "I do understand how you feel".

They were quietly sat there for a while.

"Mother Mary is right.. we can't jump on any conclusion".

"You are expecting very high from me Daylon". Kaira lightly smiled.

"Call me ... Day! Kaira."

"D.A.Y!"

"Okey... Day".

"No.. I'm expecting from you what you really are Kaira".

You know Kaira it's the last and only clan of Ancient Guardian. And all were welcomed here as a family member. I'm not an Ancient Guardian but still I welcomed here because of my mother and mother Mary. I have a lot of respect for mother Mary, when i was kid she looked after me when my mother wasn't around.

"You know I used to hear a lot of stories about Ancient Guardian Kaira by her... and I thought how come a person be so good, beautiful and selfless".

"I don't lie .... I was really fascinated by her and her stories"

"I always crave to found such kind of person in my life after my mother's death".

She didn't say anything because she really didn't know what she should say at this moment.

"And fortunately when I eavesdropped the conversation of Warlocks that they are going to Earth to kill a girl whose name is Kaira. Then I couldn't stop myself".

"And believed me I was shocked and and happy like hell when I saw you"

"So this was the reason you came to Earth". She looked completely out of wards.

"Yes!"

"I...I...I don't no what say Day. I..I don't want to hurt your feelings but...".

"But .... I'm not her. It's me completely different from the person you are talking about"

"And I...I....." She hesitated to speak the truth because it definitely hurt him.

He looked distant. "I do not expect you to feel the same as I do for you. And you are right.. You are you. But one thing I want to say that you are also a good, beautiful and selfless person".

He looked into her eyes. "And ...I.."

"I know that you care a lot about that person who was from our world".

"Cloud! Isn't it!"

"Day!" She was totally surprised.

"Do you know him". She asked curiously, her heartbeat sped up.

"No. I don't"

"But I always found him around you"

"And you called his name happily all the time... you seemed really happy around him". He looked down on the ground and his pitch was low like whisper.

She smiled ruefully... "Do you think so"

She took a deep breath.... "I also think so. I was quite happy around him".

"Why he leaved you in middle of caose". His voice laced with anger.

"Day... he had his responsibility which he had to fulfill"

"And what about you". He asked

"He did everything what he could for me. Day I don't have any issues with him at this matter".

"But you can count on me Kaira". He said strongly with sincerity.

"Day... please I don't want you to hurt. You seemed all tuff and dangerous person but deep down you also carve for a someone in your life who cares you .. and a person whom you can trust.

"I can be the person whom you trust and l do really care about you..."

"That's why I telling you now... don't expect anything more than this from me Day!"

"I understand". He said quietly.

"Don't worry about me Kaira... I'm Daylon. He said proudly and tried to light up the surrounding air.

She laughed at his gesture.

"And by the way I just want to confirm... just to know"

"Were you there inside the college building on my birthday. Isn't it!".

"Yes! And I told you before that".

Back then I didn't know you much but I was completely blinded by your face and I was literally thinking about to kidnappe you and wanted to took you with me, away from everyone. But then I dropped that thought because I wanted to confirm... that you really are the reincarnation of Kaira or not.

"Okey!". She nodded her head and completely overwhelmed.

Then she asked out of curiosity. "Was you who beat Max down badly when... when he misbehaved with me in the parking lot"

He growled angrily and his body stiffened... "Yes it was me and I really wanted to murder that bastard with my own hands how dare he to touch you but I didn't want to scare you that's why spare his life".

"Thanks Day"

"You don't need to say thanks because I could not forgive myself that how I let you touch by him that way. I should be more aware there".

She put her hand on his... "Don't blame yourself about anything because of me, you have already done so much for me".

"Thank you so much for every thing you have done so far for helping me out".
