I was again late.
I have no words in my defence. But one thing I want to know you it was difficult chapter for me.

I rewrite it many times and it took extra time because its a turning point of the whole story and should be written well. So I tried, wish and hope you'll like.

JHONATHAN POV

"Kaira didn't back yet? It's already 6:40" I heard Edward's shaking voice.

My heart dropped. "Ohh No!! Kaira is again in danger".

I remembered vividly she told us when she was attacked by Warlocks, she was almost killed but Cloud saved her just in time. My heart was getting heavy because I knew definitely this time... this time Cloud was not here for her. She was alone out somewhere and that made me sick, worried.

I just wanted to reach her before anyone else. Because Windalen presence made me sure she was definitely needs protection and we didn't know where she was. My heart ached and pain coursed through my body.

I grabbed my key I couldn't stay here futurer. "I'm going to check her college" I announced.

Lane said he was also comming along, we both were heading the entrance door. All of sudden door blew up into pieces and we were thrown backwards by the blast. We both got injureies on knees and arms. I wasn't get up on my own, I had a little sore legs.

Pain was written on my parents faces, worryingly they asked, were we okey or not? But before I could answer Lane said "We are fine". I was thankful of him. They are already tensed for kaira and I didn't want to make them worry for us.

Entire room had filled with cloud of dust. I was felling little problem in taking breath. We couldn't get the time to understand what was really happened beforehand we all heard a cruel voice.

"So you have already reached here Windalen"

SERA POV

"We are fine". I heard Lane but I knew they were badly injured and It was painful to see your children hurt. My eyes teared up I was looking at their injuries. As I stood to get the first aid kit a voice made me stop at the way.

I looked at the door a figure appeared from shadow to light and a fear unleashed within me.

"Oh my god!! Is he came here for my lovable daughter?" I was like my heart burst out from my chest, an unbearable pain I was feeling. He was a young man but he looked bad, barbaric and very evil person. I was freezed at my place as if my body get paralyzed

LANE POV

Everyone's eyes snapped on the door, having so many anticipation in their eyes about who he could be? Then a figure appeared through the cloud of dust and entered into the room. He was a very tall man around 6"4" and had a muscular tonnes body, he wasn't old while young.

He had dark brown eyes, and thick eyebrows. His hairs were black and had broad Jaw line with sharp nose. He held a weapon that was combo of blade and spare kind of in his right hand. His eyes had a glint of evilness, he had a evil aura and anyone could feel it. In no time I got it, he was Warlock!!

Windalen took a big step forward but didn't remove his eyes from the Warlock, they were both glaring each other.

"Move back all of you". Windalen worned us, we all stepped back.

Sudden a very..very evil laughter filled the air. He was laughing but still it sounded dangerous like he was making fun of our situation.

He shook his head in amusement, there was still an evil smile playing on his face.

"Windalen look at you. You are still thinking you can protect them". He Scoffed.

"Aw..this is really disappointing! You are not looking enough injured!! I was expecting much..much more but seems like my man didn't do their work properly. This is really bad". He Sneered.

"Well I didn't want to wash my hands in your blood because it stinks. You know, you must be proud you are in list of enemies. Only few people deserve to get a place and you have".

He stepped forward. "I'll be happy and enjoy when I see you broken and vulnerable. When I see you beg me on my feet for your life. I told my man they couldn't kill you. I said very clearly word by word I wanted you on your knees, live. I told them very clearly you shouldn't be stand on your feet". He said every words coldly.

An incredulously laugh was trailed on lips. "But see you are still standing in front of me. Ughh!!.. this is frustrating, those Warlocks were useless, good for nothing and soon they will going to pay by their lives for wasting my time and energy assigning them a simple work".

I saw Windalen body stiffened and he looked fazed.

Warlock scoffed. "Why the almighty Windalen is looking fazed with my presence? Well..I feel honoured".

"It's really comforting my heart. Ahhh...look at the expression on your face .. Hell!! Look at your eyes.. these emotion I was really missing them".

He leaned forward, his eyes were sparkling dangerously...."Fear. I want to see more and more fear in your eyes till your death"

I was glued at my place, my heart heart was in my mouth and my eyes opened wide in shock. Indeed, I never saw an evil person like him in my entire life so far. He was really evil. He voice, his laugh and the way he was looking, it was like an animal. He was like a ferocious beast, who was ready to pounce on his prey.

DAVID POV

Cloud's words echoed in my head he was right about Warlocks. I looked at the Warlock the way he was talking to Windalen. It was clear like mirror he was a violent menacing and barbaric man. His eyes filled with hatred and voice was laced with poison.

I thought Warlocks would never come after kaira again but I wrong. I was totally wrong. They came, my heart tightened with fear not for myself while for beautiful, naive daughter. These monster wanted to kill my lovable kaira, I clutched my fist in anger. I knew we were humans and they were beyond our limits but still I would fight to protect my daughter till my death. But I prayed she wouldn't come home until this all mess wouldn't over.

I glanced at Sera. She seemed paled, intimidated by him. She was freezed at her place and burst out into tear. I pulled her into my arms I understood she was mother and a thought of her children might get hurt made her difficult to breath.

JUNE POV

I looked at Windalen I feel bad for him. He was aged old man who was badly injured. His eyes were dull, his body was exhausted. He couldn't stand firmly on his feet. He shifted his most of the weight on his wooden stick, holding in his right hand. In my view If he wasn't an ancient gaurdian, he just looked like an old grandpa. I didn't understand how could anyone talk to an old and weak person like that.

"Ohh..If that's really so then you are always welcomed child. I maybe look old but I'm enough for you" Windalen said very calmly.

I saw Warlocks didn't look pleased by Windalen response. His nostrils was flaring with rage and his chest was rapidly raising and falling. His facial expression changed hard.

I saw suddenly a silver colour circle appeared below Windalen's feets. That circle was glowing and had a unique designs pattern. And soon electric sparks flared up around his right hand and travelled through his hand to his stick. His stick was glowing, heat and sparks were flaring around in the air.

He swang the stick in the air and a sparking electric string appeared on the edge. I was literally scared to see, never saw something like that in my life. These things I..I always watched in the movies. My eyes doubted what I was seeing. Because in our world it couldn't be true but I..it.. It was. It was really happening in front of my eyes.

EDWARD POV

I looked at everyone they were all as shocked as I was. My attention at once drew again at Windalen when a sparking electric string appeared on the edge of his flaring stick. Windalen pulled the string back with his full strength and attacked forward on the Warlock. It was all happened even before blinking my eyes. Warlock wasn't expected that, I guess and that's was the reason he couldn't do anything in his defence. He might be thinking Windalen couldn't attack him because he was tired and injured.

That string wrapped around his body and tightening its hold. Windalen again pulled the string and lift him in the air and bashed him against the wall. And a big hole formed there, thick Clouds of dust filled the surrounding. Warlock was lying on the floor, but he was struggling to free.

Windalen used this opportunity and quickly turned around he looked at me worriedly.

"Go. Find kaira and hide her at any other safe place". He whispered quickly.

And he dig out a small bottle from his packet, having some kind of pink liquid inside it. He handed bottle over to me. "When you find Kaira make sure she drink it because it will hide her presence, it will hide her scent. Warlocks can easily hunt down her through the smell of her blood".

I noded my head and ran towards the door but before that I looked at Jhonathan. He didn't waste any time and tossed the key, I quickly caught the key into my fist.

I knew nothing about Warlocks and their powers or magic but one thing was clear and I knew well Windalen couldn't hold him with his magic for long. So I needed to find Kaira as soon as possible.

I came out and rushed where the car was parked. I opened the door I was about to climbed inside but I couldn't. I felt something cold I look down... "Holy shit!" My feets were covered in ice and I was jammed there.

My heart was beating into a high gear. "Ohh no!" I said hopelessly. I was dead sure there must be more than one Warlock. I looked around and my heart stopped with a thud something was there in the shadow of the trees caught my attention.

I gulped a lump into my throat and my breath sped up. I was absolutely right, there was two Warlocks standing. And I couldn't do in my defence I was stucked. One was in his midage while other was young. Both were large and tall but not as tall as the first one. I gasped, they towered over me In a blink and had murderous look on their faces.

One of them extended out his hand clutched my throat and lifted me up in the air.

"You pathetic humans!! What you were thinking you have any chance against us. Hmm..". He made a grimace of disgust when looked into my eyes . He was slowly tightening his grip around my throat.

I was not able to take breath properly, I was choking. I tried to get out of his hold and I was almost successed but he ruined my efforts by added his another hand around my throat, their strength was beyond a human strength. My chest was burning with lack of air in my lungs, blackness started covering my vision. I was....I was loosing my cautious and I realised a sudden death was about to overtake me in any moment.

I remembered.

I said to myself, "If Warlocks ever cross my way I'll teach them a lessons". But the reality was totally different and bitter, I couldn't do anything against them. Might be he was right. I was pathetic. My eyelids became havey last time I looked over my house and then blackness engulfed me.

DEREK POV

I was leaned against my car, waiting outside Jenny's home. Jenny told me she and Jennifer would be definitely here within ten minutes. Tonight we had to celebrate Kaira's 19th birthday. I looked at my watch it was already 7:20, we were getting late. I told Edward we'll be there till 7:30 pm.

I groaned. "But since these girls do not come yet I don't think so we'll reached at the time"

Again I called Jenny. She picked up her mobile and said as I was expecting. "Sweetheart gave me just.. just five minutes more"

I huffed. "God! How much time girls needed to get ready. I can easily change and get ready more than ten times so far".

I was bored standing there alone. I called kaira I thought might be she was free but after calling two or three times kaira didn't picked my call. I got little worried because she always picked my call and even if didn't then she send me a message later. I was looking at my mobile screen but no message popped up. I ran a hand on my face and thought I was really stupid it's her birthday, definitely she would be enjoying her party and perhaps she forgot her mobile in her room.

I snapped out of my thinking when heard door cracked and I looked up finally they both came out. Jenny was wearing a blue dress reaching upto her mid thighs, she was looking gorgeous with her curly hairs and had very light natural makeup. Jennifer was also looking beautiful with her smoking eyes she was wearing a pair black jeans and white tank top.

I opened the door for them and we all slipped inside and drove to kaira's house. When we reached there, something was off. Instead high music there was silence. We all climbed out and headed towards the entrance door. Suddenly we heard a sharp voice.and Jenny jumped on her heels, she was about to trip but I held her on time.

I was right. Something was definitely wrong. I stopped them in the mid way and walked towards the entrance door. I was shocked what I saw, door had broken into pieces.

I heard jenifer screamed I looked back a fear coursed in my body. Jenny and Jennifer were knelt down near a car.

I rushed there but what I saw gave me another shock. Edward was lying on the ground, he was unconscious. I ran a hand through my hairs in frustration. I was afraid for others. I had no idea what the hell was happening there. My heart was pounding and my hands got cold. I let both of them stayed with Edward and again walked to the entrance door.
