After Kaira's birth, Sera and David were so happy, having a beautiful daughter like princess in their lives. Kaira was their one and only daughter along with four sons.

Sera always wanted a daughter to whom she wanted to enjoy buying cloths, jewellery and other girly stuffs. To whom she could chat and go on full day long shopping. David and Sera had so many future plans and dreams about Kaira as every parent had for their children, normally.

But as years were passing by, their all plans and dreams started breaking into pieces one by one and became more and more cloudy. For them, it was very hard to believe that their beautiful innocent daughter wasn't a normal girl at all like other girls because Kaira possessed some powers. That powers had been always protected her whenever she was in danger, which was obviously beyond human limits.

Once when Kaira was around a year old she got sick. David and Sera were taking her to hospital. On the way, their car got hit by another car which was in the full speed. That car hit them from behind and their car started lurching forward unstably on the road.

David's hands got sweety with fear and nervousness and his heart was dangerously beating against the rib cage. He got scared for Sera and Kaira, their life was on risk. He tried his best to stop the car, he strongly fought the steering wheel for control. But he couldn't. Their car weaved all over the road and was about to going to hit the street light.

Sera's eyes widened when she saw they were about to hit. Her heart stopped beating, she took a sharp breath and hide the Kaira into her chest. She tightly wrapped her arms around her and closed her eyes in fear.

But suddenly an energy shield appeared in between their car and the street light. Their car stopped right there, just before the energy shield with a sharp sound of screeching tyres on the street. It was unbelievable but of the blue shield appeared and save them from a dangerous accident and vanished soon in the air.

David loosened his grip on the starring wheel and hurriedly his eyes moved left, his eyes had bright unshed tears. He heaved a sigh of relief and pulled both of them, Sera and Kaira, into his worm arms.

"I was scared".

"I was so scared Sera, you can't imagine. If anything happened to both of you. I would never ever forgive myself. I... I wouldn't live either". He kissed at Sera's forehead and took kaira into his careful arms.

He kissed at kaira's cheeks and said. "Forgive your dady princess. Dady put you in danger". He held kaira close to his chest and gently softly caressed her back and a tear rolled on his cheek.

"Don't say so David. It was not your fault. Even you did your best and save us". She said and her eyes pooled with tears. She lovingly brushed her thumb across his cheek. She looked down, kaira was calmly sleeping in his father's arms. She leaned down and kissed her forehead.

"Your princess seemed so calmed and happy. She loved her dady. So never think that way. Okey!" She lovingly ran a hand on her head.

Sera breathed a sigh, it was mixture of contentment and a relief. After all they got saved by a big accident Just in time.

After a moment when they got normal something clicked into Sera's mind, she looked straight out the window. "David did you remember what happened a few minutes ago"

David who was staring at her daughter face, snapped out. "What do you mean Sera" He again drew his attention towards her.

"A shield....didn't you see? I saw a shield in front of our car David. Didn't you remember? Or maybe I just saw things due to out of fear and anxiety". She looked at him in disbelief.

"No Sera that wasn't any of your delusion because I saw too. That was seemed like a kind of energy shield that stopped our car with a force". David said but there was an incredulous expression on his face.

They both were speechless. They thought what they saw, was next to impossible.

They were not ready to accept what they saw. Because It couldn't be true. It couldn't be true in their world, where they were living.

How could a shield appeared out of nowhere and saved them. They seemed totally puzzled and not ready to believed what just happened to them.

But later after some years, they had to accept these unusuals things were happening in real and not their mear imaginations or delusion. It was a hard reality that all was done by kaira.

Till the age of  five when Kaira was just a small kid. It had been very  clear that as she was growing her powers were also growing with time.

But she didn't has any control over them, she just randomly used those powers unknowingly.

She did so many things which was impossible for a human. She was more than a human. Like she could fly her toys. She healed once her brother Edward's wound when she touched it. She touched buds and they blossomed into fresh flowers and so many other things. But one thing was noticeable that she was  always protected by some powers whenever she was in any danger.

All these things couldn't done by a normal person. Many of their neighbors did not believe what they saw while some of their neighbors started suspicion on them. They didn't allow their children to play with kaira and her brothers.

Soon many rumors spread in all area about kaira. David and Sera got afraid and realized it wasn't good situation specially for kaira and for their sons too.

So they decided it was the best option for them if they would move off from the city to any other safe place. They thought it was be the best choice if they shift countryside. So that way the ended up living there.

Population was there really very low and every house were at a good distance. There was no rush in people's life and not much crowd on the streets. It was a very quiet and peaceful place.

Soon Sera began working as a professor in the city University and continued her research work there. University was closed to her home so she could take care of  kaira and other responsibility. David also shifted his office there.

They transfered Jonathan, lane, June and Edward to a different school in a different city, where they lived in a hostel.

It was a very tuff decisions for Sera and David when they were sending their sons in a hostel at a very young age. Not only they were sending their sons away from them while they were also separating a sister from her brothers.

When Kaira had grown up around six years old, she often lived alone in the house. She spend most of the time alone after leaving her parents for their jobs. She didn't go to a regular school instead studied at home.

She didn't have friends because every house were far away from each other. She always missed her brothers and eagerly waited for their summer vacations. Whenever she stayed at home alone she used to sit on the stairs and waited for her parents.

Sera had gotten very buzzy in her job because she had already left her previous highly paid job and now she had to more work or say overtime for extra salary to financially support her family. David also got buzzy in his work. They didn't get sufficient time for kaira but they always tried to be with her all the time whenever they stayed at home. They knew she felt alone but the were helpless, they didn't have any other option.

Sera and David taught her at home because they were not ready to let go Kaira in a regular school. So they prefer home school to regular. They taught her every day after returning back from their works.

It was look like they wanted to hide Kaira from everyone.

After being alone most of the time, her attention drew towards the forest. Kaira started spending her maximum time there, it wasn't far from her home. And she really liked to be there .

Early Kaira used to cry a lot because she felt lonely. There were no children of her age to play with her. But now in the forest she felt happiness, to her, it was now like her new friend. There, she chased after butterflies, sang with birds, played with rabbits and talked with trees.

Sera and David always had a guilt in their hearts. They knew, they were doing very wrong with her but they had no solution, they had no choice . There was not any other way to protect her.

One day Kaira was playing in the forest as usual suddenly she heard someone's voice. She turned back and saw an old man.

"Hye sweetie. What are you doing here alone".

"Come to the spring  festival once, it is near the market. There are so many games, so many children, different kinds of dessert, kandy, and toys". He said.

Kaira asked." Who are you?"

"Amm.. I was just passing by the forest, I have to go to the spring festival tonight. Would you come tonight?" He asked with a smile.

Kaira didn't reply because she had no answer, she never went before in any festival.

That day Kaira insisted so much to her parents to go to see the spring festival. She badly wanted to go. They were really feeling bad for her but they didn't want let her go to a crowded place. Because they scared what if she used her powers unknowingly there, then it only create a problem for them.

Kaira screamed. "You don't love me!"

"Why I can't go anywhere?" w

"Why I can't go there? Other children go there than why I can't" Kaira started crying.

To see her daughter crying badly their hearts got melt. They just wanted to make her happy so far a day they took aside their all fears and got ready to go to the spring festival with her.

Sera caught kaira into a hug. "We love you so much sweetheart. Mama, Dady love you so much.  Please never say it again. Okey! And we'll definitely go there so don't cry honey"

Kaira noded her head with hiccup.

That night kaira was in her jovial mood, she was going to attend her life's first festival that made her excited. Her cheeky smile reached upto eras. She was holding hands of  her parents and jumping on her feet. Sera and David went there but they were very careful too.

They were enjoying the spring festival, there were people in bright and colourful dresses. Lights were decorated beautifully and so many stalls of toys, kandy, cloths, dessert, food and games organised. Along with these there was also fire works in the sky.

Suddenly an old man came up to them. He was selling some accessories.

"Please buy any jewelry. These are very pretty, beautiful and cheap". That Old man said.

Kaira suddenly picked up a necklace that was very unique, grand in design and had a green color stone in the middle.

David and kaira didn't think much and they bought the green necklace for her because they wanted to give her some happiness. Kaira quickly wore that necklaces, she really loved that necklace.

That night kaira did so much fun and Sera and David felt a kind of peace and satisfaction in their hearts to see her enjoying after a long time.

When they were returning home. They could feel the fresh air of spring, moon was shining in the mid sky and flower petals were  blowing with winds. Kaira was jumping on her feet, she was trying to catch those petals.

Sera and David were feeling a new aura in there lives and that aura gave them a new hopes.

Kaira showed them her green necklace. "Hye mom, Hye dad, See my necklace, its so pretty. Isn't it. It's green colour stone looking amazing in the moon light". Kaira happily giggled.

"Yes kaira, it's really pretty. But you know what, why it's look so good because you wear it my princess". David chuckled.

For a moment that stone recalled something to Sera but she Jerked all her thoughts. She didn't want to remember those memories.

"Yes kaira It's looking very beautiful on you, you look like a princess of a fairy tale ". Sera softly pinched her cheeks and they turned bright red.

Kaira gave a gleeful chuckle and spun on her heels. "Really!!"

They both said together with a delighted. "Yes princess"

After attending spring festival kaira was so happy there was a big smile on her face.

David and Sera were also feeling a kind of change.. a good change. But they had no idea that after this spring festival there lives was really going to change. Not only their's but kaira's too.
