KAIRA POV

I was leaning against the glass window, looking out far in the sky. Suddenly weather changed, temperature was keep going down and soon black heavy clouds covered the entire sky.

I'm started feeling like.. a little cold.
I hugged myself but kept looking outside. I didn't know when I slowly got drifted into my deep thoughts.

"It's been 3 days since Cloud left. Every morning I convinced. myself ..that it's all just dreams. Nothing more. Me and Cloud can never be a thing and... never were..a.and I guess never will". Few teardrops poured down on my cheeks.

I deeply sighed, looked down.

"Cloud already has a girl in his life. Who was waiting for him. And now they may be happy being together again".

I blinked my eyes to hold back my tears.
"I wish she will take care of him... if she's with him in the battle".

"I..I guess, she will be a very beautiful girl with big eyes and long silky hairs. And ..and.." My heart was getting heavy.

It was painful, very painful to think of  Cloud with Zinta. Felt like I was suffocating inside with all these feelings. I just wanted to stop thinking about him but... I couldn't!

I took a long breath.

"Every night he is with me in my dreams, it seems so real. But every mornings when I opened my eyes. I..I wished I never woke up and just lived in my dreams".

My heart really... really wanted to be with him but that showed how pathetic I'm. When I knew he already had a girl in his life.

But my heart still..still only yearned for him. I closed my eyes and just  feeling the fresh and cold breeze against my face.

At once my eyes got open by a familiar voice, who was loudly calling out my name and standing across the corridor.

He was advancing towards me with a good brisk walk. His voice filled with ecstatic tone. He was non other but Max.

After my surprised party my maximum time was passing with him because Derek, Jenny and Jennifer all of them got buzzy in their project assessments and after college they got buzzy in their jobs.

So these days I was feeling very lonely without my friends but I just couldn't ask them to stay with me. I..I couldn't do that because they had already done so much for me. And now I couldn't take advantage of their kindness.

And I didn't want to go home earky either because my parents got panic see me sad and especially my brothers and I got totally exhausted with faking happy around my family.

I just didn't want any extra attention so I made an excuses that I would late because I had to complete my assignment with Max.

But It was coincidence that we both mostly had same subject except a few. And in most of the project or assessment he was my partner because he the one who always asked me first, before anyone else and I had no reason to deny him.

Max was a good person and my friend. He was quite popular among girls. And often girls gave me an annoying look whenever I was with him. Max was around 5, 11" or 6,0" foot long. He had fit body physique and with tan skin. He had blonde hairs and hazel eyes.

But from last three days I realized he was crossing our friendship boundaries. I mean he didn't do anything wrong b.but..but he was acting strange. Like..like he was my boyfriend and that made me angry and frustrate.

I wanted to tell him to stop acting like that but I didn't know how to say it. I mean I didn't want to hurt his feelings because I could understand... how it felt like being in a one sided love situation.

But that was wrong. What he was doing?

"Kaira you need to stop him". My mind kept telling me.

I saw he came up to me and extended his hand out. I nervously looked down at his hand but I found it was my book he was holding.

Max smiled. "Hye!! Kaira you forgot your book in the classroom".

"Ohh..Thanks!!". I took the book.

"What are doing here Kaira you may catch a cold?" He said and press his hands on my cheek and then caressed it with his thumb. "See your cheek is so cold"

His action caught me off gaurd and I hasately stomped back a few steps.

"M.max listen!! I have to say something and you have to....". I could complete my words he grabbed my hand.

"Why are you moving away from me Kaira?". His face wore a hurt and angry look at the same time.

"Max what are you trying to...."
Again I could finish my words but this time Jenny interrupted me.

She caught me into a hug. "Hye Kaira we miss you so much at the cafe. I wish you didn't quite your job".

I gave her a sad smile. "I wish too jenny but you know". She didn't say anything and just nodded.

Jenny looked over Max. "Hi Max". But she stopped. "Why are looking angry?"

He annoyingly looked away. "It's nothing".

"I thought you all have left so far". I said to Jenny.

She shrugged. "NOPE! I got late today in submitting my assignment so Derek was waiting me outside in the parking and Jennifer had already left".

"When I was passing by the corridor I saw you. So I thought, I should ask you".

she gave me a gleeful chuckle. "Let's come with us Kaira, we'll drop you at the bus stop and we can have a little chat on the way. I really miss you". Jenny said with a pout.

"No!! Kaira will go with me. I'll drop her, I have my car and I can drop her home instead the bus stop. So don't bother Jenny". Max quikly said.

"Noooo!!" I said aloud. And glare at him.

I took a hold on Jenny's hand and walked off towards the parking lot.

I could see Max was shocked with my sudden reaction.

Jenny looked at me with her confused look. "Is something wrong Kaira?"

I shook my head. "Nothing".

I thought. "I just can't drag my freinds in my every problems. They have their own life and problems too".

I smiled lightly and assured her. "It's nothing at all Jenny"

She happily chirped. "And I'm so happy tomorrow is your 19th birthday"

"Yeah!!". I said below my breath.

After eight days finally Cloud reached the Kingdom Aureliya in the morning along with his army, even after using short and hidden pathways.

Kingdom Aureliya was a beautiful Kingdom and it was placed in North east region. The artitechture of Kingdom Aureliya was completely different from the Kingdom Kaira.

It was a very naturally riched sphere and it had many rivers, dense forest containing many rare and unique medicines which was not found anywhere else.

Cloud, Zinta and Archer were standing in front of the castle of Kingdom Aureliya. It was a huge castle and it was above to the ground level and there was a no. of stairs in the front. Beautiful and very different colours of flowers blossomed at either sides of the stairs.

Everyone can smell their fresh odour along with the morning breeze. Castle was completely white in colour and under the sun rays it was shining like pearl.

Its artitechture had the glimpse of elvian culture. And there were unique fountains and sculptures of elvian women's and men's that completely held anyone's attention. Castle was surrounded by water falls and water seemed so pure and clean.

Queen Cara Aurelius welcomed them in her castle.

Cloud, Zinta and Archer, they all took a seats in the royal court of Kingdom Aureliya along with queen Cara and with her cheif of army, Duilin and other army commandants Lindir, Maglor, Salgant, Amroth and Olwe.

They were all gathered there to discuss about the strategy which they were going to opt during the battle field.

Queen Cara Aurelius said. "It's really a dangerous situation. Demon's army had reached to our outer most cities and destroyed them completely. And they were kept heading forward but..  the worst thing is that we didn't get any information or any clue about their attack.

Cloud looked at queen Cara. "Majesty that question also first came into my head and I got only one answer that there are people among us who are helping out our enemies because of their own benefits".

"And I  think, they have definitely told them about our hidden and short pathways and also passing out all our important informations to our enemies regarding our every moment".

"So Majesty it is my suggestion we shouldn't share or discuss our strategy with anyone".

"And when I'm saying not to anyone that's mean it includes our family members too. It's my request our plans and strategies should not pass outside this room and only limited to us, who are present here".

Queen looked over the cheif of army. "What is your openion Duilin?"

Duilin said after thinking. "I think Cloud is right your Majesty. We shouldn't take any risk especially in this situation when there is a possibility that people among us got involved with Demons."

Queen Cara sighed after little thinking, said clearly. "I think it is clear now to everyone. Any information shouldn't go outside from here. Understand"

Everyone noded their head.

Duilin said. "Your Majesty we get the resent news that Demon's army strength is around thirty thousands".

Queen Cara asked. "And how much our army strength, Duilin?"

"Majesty our army strength is around fifty thousands". Duilin said.

Archer said. "We should carefully consider everything because there are Warlock too who can create a big problem."

Zinta supported him. "I think Archer is right we should make a strategy for Warlock too".

Cloud looked back others. "I'm also agree with Archer. Because Warlocks are the most cruel and cunning creatures of our world. They can play low tricks so we need to prepare for them".

Cloud continued. "Majesty, my army strength is around thirty thousands. So it's my opinion that we should go in the battle field with my full and half of your's army. This way we will be almost double of Demon's army".

"And if they have any extra hidden army somewhere because I have read in the history of Kingdom Kaira that Warlock used their dark magic sometimes to hide their army against the magic wall".

"But In this process they need a no. of Warlocks in creating a magical wall. So in that kind of situation we can use your rest army which will be stand by and will be totally fresh and ready to take part with their full strength".

Queen Cara seemed impressed. "I'm agree with you Could. I think that should be a great strategy".

Duilin and other commandants also seemed agreed with Cloud's suggestion.

Commandant Salgant said. "Your Majesty we know there are two rivers flowing through the mountains on the either sides of that area where we are going to check Demon army, their are hidden pathways under those mountains "

Commandant Lindir and Maglor also agreed with him. "Yes Majesty. We should take an advantage of those hidden pathways."

Cloud sighed.

"It is really a great advantage for us".

"I think in the battle field we should divide our army in rows".

"First row will contain twenty-five  thousands soldiers and directly face the demons".

"And behind the first row there will be second row of twenty thousands soldiers which will be divided into ten-ten thousands troops".

"The remaining ten thousands army also will be further divided into two five-five thousands troops in the third row".

"The last third row army troops will quitely move back towards the hidden pathways from either sides".

"They will pass through the mountains and attacked on the Demon army from behind but it will take some time so till then we have to fight with them along with the first row and make them buzzy in front to front war."

"Right then our second row troops will moved forward from either sides of us and give backup and also tried to encircle Demon army"

And our best archers will be ready along with dragon riders and dragons.  They will not only attack the enemies from the sky but also dealing with them in the sky.

Cloud continued. "But I think in front row we should take elvian soldiers because they can used their power during the fight and that may create much more impact on our attack."

"Well I have also wizards in my army which will lead both the third and second row's army troops." Cloud said.

Queen Cara and chief Duilin seemed impressed and agreed with his plan.

COULD POV

I was lying down on my bed.

"Tomorrow I have to go on a battle and I also remember tomorrow is the Kaira's 19th birthday."

I was staring at the ceiling.

"It's strange... tomorrow is her life's most dangerous day and for me tomorrow is my life's biggest battle."

"I wish she would be safe".

"I'm regretting now that why I never told her, I like her so much. Atleast I could say that b..but I didn't."

I closed my eyes and her beautiful smiling face flashed into my eyes. I never thought I would missed her that badly.

I ran a hand through my hairs.

"I.. I really want to see her again, I really want to tell her.. what I really feel for her."

A smile crept on my lips.

"There are so many things I want to tell her and there are so many things I want to ask her"

"Please be safe Kaira I'll definitely going to see you again"
