Kaira was standing in front of her house, staring in fear. Because she didn't have the permission to stay out this late. And It was now second time when she had got late.

Last time she promised her mother that it would never happen again because her mother and brothers were always worried regarding her safety. That's why she was not allowed late outing.

As she stood there in dark, she was feeling sad, she was feeling sad as she couldn't keep her promise.

Kaira curled her fingers into a fist, she was sweating even in the dark and cold night. She looked back nervously at Cloud and Archer and found they were stood just behind her. She felt a surge of anxiety inside her.

She turned back, deeply suked the cold air and walked to the door. Cloud and Archer also followed her.

She stood out side the door and when she was about to press doorbell beforehand, she quickly pulled her hand back.

She closed her eyes for a minute and was trying to compse herself. She was rubbing her hands both because of cold and also because of fear.

She was anxious about the situation that how she would going to explain her family. Why she got late? Why she come back home with two young strangers? What she would going to explain them about Cloud and Archer?

Her heart was pounding so hard against her chest, she felt like it burst out. And by thinking of her over protective brother's expected reaction, she was getting even more nervous, wanted to disappear instead facing them.

"No worry! No worry! Ya no worry". She murmured.

Cloud was silently analysing her behavior with his stiff expression,

"Why are you whispering instead of knocking the door?" Cloud said.

Kaira blinked certain times
on his rection.

She said him with her hopeful eyes. "That everything will be alright. Isn't it. We have proper and reasonable reasons, ain't we?"

She gave him a weak smile and she was expecting an incourging and hopeful reply.

Cloud raised his eyebrow, gesturing like. Why are you asking me?

But Kaira still waiting for a reply with her puppy eyes.

"What?" Cloud smirked.

"T..that we have reasonable reasons. Ain't we?" Kaira said in a doubtful tone.

Cloud sighed. He looked at her, there was a clear concerned for her in his eyes.

"I can understand how you are feeling. But we have to do this. Apparently we don't have anyother choice. They need to know everything Kaira they're your family, they will definitely understand you. I don't get why are you so scared, though it is a hard realty". Cloud said cleared his point.

"I'm not scared. I..I just don't want to shock them all of a sudden. They maybe not ready for this. I just don't want to hurt them". Kaira said looking down on his shoes.

"Kaira we can understand your feelings and but how long we are going to stay like this. How long can you hide this fact, sooner or later it will reveal. Everyone have to face it. Let's see what will happen next". Archer said tried to convince Kaira.

Kaira give him again a nervous smile and turned back towards the door. She finally sighed and next thing she did, pressed the doorbell.

But no one came to open the door so kaira raised her hand for another try. Her hand was in air when door pulled open. She just stood there like rock to see her mother's deadly worried face. She wanted to say something but abruptly she stuttered ..." H..h...hi mom".

Sera seemed so anxious. "Kaira. Sweetheart where were you? You know how scared we are? how we felt past few hours? I was...."

Tears pickered in her eyes, rolling down on her cheeks. Kaira felt so much guilt. She cussed herself as she always the one who caused trouble. She thought she was good for nothing and for that reason she hated herself..so much.

Sera caught her into a tight hug.

Kaira said in low voice...."I'm sorry mom. I couldn't keep my promise. But....."

She would complete her sentance before that, Lane cutt her off. He pointed a finger towards Cloud and Archer, he was inquisitively and alertly scrutinizing them.

"Who are they? And what are they doing here? Lane asked, his voice laced with rage.

June also came out, he raised his eyebrow. "Why they are with you?"

"Why are you so late its almost 12 o'clock? And they are not your friends, I never saw them before". Lane shooted another question.

Edward also joined them, he stared them, rubbing his chin.

"Ya! they are not studying in our college. Also I never saw them before at your work place kaira". He claimed the fact very confidently.

A shower of questions were falling one by one on her. Kaira felt like she got buried under these questions. She flinched with pressure.

"Stop you guy! Don't scare my daughter. And Kaira don't look down sweetheart Don't. I do trust you, you are my daughter my princess. So don't". David loudly said.

Caressly David patted her head, he kissed her forehead and let her go inside. Then David turned towards Cloud and Archer, he also warmly extended his hand and welcomed them inside his house.

Cloud shook his hand with equal warmth. "Thank you very much sir". He replied David with a smile.

They were all settled in the living room, sitting on couch and keep starting at Cloud and Archer.

Jonathan, June, lane, and Edward were sitting on the biggest front couch. Cloud and Archer was sitting across the front couch. And Kaira was sitting on the middle one with her parents.

There was complete awkward silence in the room, her brothers were only dubiously staring them.

Sera broke the silence when she saw wounds on Archer's arms and face .

"Oh god! You are injured. Why don't you tell us before" . Sera said with great concerned

She walked into the left hand room and few minutes later came back with a first-aid kit.

"Show me your injury dear". Sera said politely.

She carefully cleaned his wounds and treated them properly.

"Oh dear! How you got these". Sera asked and looked at his face.

Archer didn't know what to say, he was just looking either at Kaira or Cloud. His eyes were traveling back and forth between them, he needed some help.

Kaira cleared her throat, her hands were sweating and feet got cold. She also didn't know how she would start?

But as she was about to say something hesitately. Cloud stopped her by standing up from his place.

He looked over David there was a steady look on his face and cold seriousness within his eyes .

"Sir I have to say something". Cloud said straightly to him

Everyone's eyes rolled on him and got fixed. For a fraction of seconds he looked into kaira's eyes to convince her.

"Sir I'm going to tell you a hard truth so please try to understand me. I know its very hard to explain and it is far harder to believe. But you have to sir". He said in his composed voice.

"Sir we are not from your world, we are not part of this world, we came from another world. We came here for a mission protecting your daughter, Kaira. Sir your daughter is not a meare human, She is not a normal girl. I know. You know it very well too". Cloud said straight looking into David's eyes.

Sera dug her nails deeply into David's arm which she was holding during all that time. Her breath was raising that was the word she never wanted to hear. Sera didn't want to accept her daughter was not a normal girl.

She always scared with this fact and she wanted to forget. Even she had forgotten all those past memories from last many years because she wanted to believe that there was nothing wrong with her daughter.

David through a hand around her shoulder tried comforting her.

June stood up, he Furiously waked upto Cloud and held his coller in his both fist. His eyes were shooting red, his chest was raising and falling with rage.

He gritted. "You shit! What the hell are talking about my sister. Don't you pretend, you know her more than us. We know her better than you. So hold your tongue and get lost from our house".

Kaira ran towards them she tried to loosen June's griped around Cloud's collar. "Please brother. Please don't do this. Please. I'm begging ".

Lane also came over to them he seemed angry with Kaira's behavior.

"You know what the crape he is talking about you. He said you are abnormal while he is the crazy one. Who is talking about another world?" He scolded Cloud.

Lane dragged june backward by his arm. "June calm down". Lane Said.

But June was still struggling under his grip to punch Cloud. He just wanted to beat him badly.

Archer also joined them, he stood besides Cloud.

"Don't you dare talking like that to my my prince, my friend. Show some respect other wise you won't get time to regret after that. If you touch him again I swear I will rip your arms".

Cloud purposely didn't say anything because he understood how much they love their sister It was quite expected from them.

Cloud stopped Archer by doing anything through his eyes. He didn't defend himself, he didn't fight back with anyone. He was just quietly standing over there.

Edward stood in front of Archer he crossed his hands on his chest and shook his head, frustration was clear on his face...."What the hell are you talking about prince, kingdom, another world. Seriously! I'm mean seriously man. Are you in your scenes?"

"Please everyone don't get aggressive, understand us we want to help kaira, her safety is our priority. You don't know her life is on the high risk". Cloud again said with his rigid calm tone.

Jhonathan who was controlling himself until now, got totally lost his control.

"Shut up! Who the hell are you? And how do you no she is in danger? Even I suppose you are dangerous for her. So stay away 50 feet from my sister. If she is in danger then we are here capable protecting her. So just get lost from my house. He yelled at him.

Cloud didn't move an inch from his sight. It made Jhonathan even more furious as his fist about to connect his face, kaira came in the middle and made him stop. She was pleading her brothers to calm down.

"Please brothers don't harm him, Cloud is quite right. He is really helping me and us. Today I'm here live front of you, all just because of him. I was almost dead if he didn't save me, I swear brother he is right I'm not normal at all".

"I couldn't figure this out! Why are you defending his lies. Edward looking her in complete disbelief.

She was looking on the floor tears like stream falling on her cheek. She looked over her brothers and then shift her eyes on her parents, who were in a shock like they saw a ghost. Kaira fold her left hand's sleeves upto shoulder and looked down on her wrist there was braslet. And when she removed her braslet her hand was start covering with a green and black inked tattoo, which had an unique ancient design pattern, spread all over her hand.

Everyone there had a frantic look on their faces they didn't have words to say. They were just looking kaira with their wide eyes they just got stuck at their places.

Sera knelt down she covered her face with her hands she was sobing...." No no no no....it can't be true ".

Sera was shouting"David ! is it a horrible nightmare?. Isn't it. It can't be ture. It scared me from years. It can't be true". Sera was shouting in pain.
