I don't really know string gummies personality- Sorry. Im guessing they work for the TBD because of the clock thing? Also, I am used to writing X reader.

I have no idea why the hell I went with this.

"Well, where's the new arrival / ally to the creme republic? Clotted asked his retainer with curiosity as financier didn't dare to answer. "..." 

After a few minutes of silent and those 2 just gazing at each other's eyes. (She had her head in the clouds and was zoning out) She finally spoke. "If I am correct my consul, he should be arriving within..."

"Within what?" Clotted asked starting to wonder. What if it was days, hours, minutes, years, decades or even worse... n e v e r.

"..." 

"Should be within a few days to a week." She finished as she was still thinking and was in deep thought. "If I'm wrong then a week to the overmorrow." (Ik it's the day after tomorrow but I'm going to go with week for this)

"Great! Can't wait to meet our next guest soon." Clotted spoke with a little hint of excitement in his tone.

"Mhm..." Was all financier said before leaving, which is odd she's always by his side. maybe she has her own special someone?  or maybe she planned the meeting, how weird...

*Timeskip*

"Here we are sir." was all String gummy heard from one of his co-workers. His eyes scanned the land and just saw peace and tranquility among cookies. Freshly baked ones(kids) were chasing each other while merchants were selling precious items. He saw a few house banners as his eyes reached the grandest part. A big mansion covered with banners of different houses and all the elder cookies had statues of their own in the front. Great deeds are engraved at the bottom of the statues. Around 30 cookies were Infront of the hot air balloon crowding the space slightly but there was still a path to walk through.

Financier sighed as the consul was trying to choose an outfit to wear and she could see string gummy cookie.

She silently left with ease as he continued to panic and called out to her. Hearing no response, he glanced behind him and didn't see her. He continued to panic but managed to calm himself down enough to go speak to String gummy.

Financier cookie starts to laugh as she saw him still in his room preparing to go meet them. "Im financier cookie, bodyguard of the consul of the creme republic and a paladin of the great light. I am honored to meet you." she said while she silently snickered in her head knowing clotted wanted to greet them before her.

"Ah Hello Financier, I am String gummy cookie a person who works for the TBD aka Time Balance Department." He bowed back at her as financier knew the consul would be there in about a second.

"Sorry to keep you waiting. I am the consul of the creme republic, Clotted Cream Cookie" He said while holding out his hand. 

"String Gummy cookie." He said as he Shaked their hand.

"Follow me." Was all clotted said as he slightly dragged him and brought him top multiple stores. Then brought them to a few of the houses and finished it off with the grand mansion.

"Thanks for letting me see the place." Was all he managed to say as he gazed into the distance. Watching the birds fly by. He realized he had a soft spot in his heart for this consul. 

Clotted cream was already smitten, and he was in another room thinking about him.

They never confessed to each other instead they both tried to keep denying it because they both thought it would get in the way of their work and keep them busy (or occupied) and not be able to get everything done. Over time Financier kept dropping hints to both of them but was surprised at how dense both of them are to not even get a single hint to just try to date or go on at least one and try to keep it a secret only the trio would know. OfCourse this didn't go un-noticed. Oyster realized he had came by less and when he did, he would seem a bit tense.

Then they finally went on dates in secret and never revealed their love to the public. Financier also didn't tell anyone.
