Description on how I critic a story: Una po sa lahat, hello nice to meet you. I will dedicate some of my time for the members dito sa book club. Simple lang po ako mag-critic like thoroughly reading your story's description, aalamin kung ano ang plot or if ever may twist na kumukubli sa inyong akda, which will make me stay at the edge of my seat at kapag nag-finalize na po ako ng aking criticism, sisiguraduhin ko pong maisasama ko kung anong winning points ang meron sa inyong story, is it unique? Did it standout among others? Then the way of writing, ngunit sinasabi ko na po na hindi rin naman ako perpektong nakakagawa ng storya na walang grammatical errors, take note that english is not my first language for starters haha kaya madalang kong mapapansin kung tama ang malalalim na english words kung tama ang spelling, same goes for the deep tagalog words.
Then again, I am not here to check on the perfection of one's work, Gusto ko lang makatulong sa mga members dito so expect I won't be grilling anyone's work that harshly and in the end I would even recommend kung ano ang lacking sa inyong work or if ever wala akong mabanggit, siguro wala na kayong dapat baguhin and just keep on writing and keep on being an inspiration to our other members here in the book club,

Hindi ako magsisinungaling para lang matawa ka, but I'll tell you honestly what is true behind your story.

Hindi ako magaling. Madami din akong pagkakamali. pero kaya kung manghusga dahil alam ko naman iyong feeling na hinuhusguan.

Sasabihin ko iyong alam kong mali sa kwento mo or sabihin na nating iyong mas dapat sa tingin ko.

kung ako iyong mapili mong mag cri-critic sa kwento mo, well goodluck to you!

Hindi ako masungit pero mabilis akong mabadtrip.

First, I thoroughly examine yung description. Kung cliché ba siya or catchy o kaya bago sa pandinig ng iba. Ine-examine ko 'yan. Then, I made sure na 'yung title ay may kinalaman sa story mo because if you just did it just to catch attention and not write anything similar to the title, then the readers will be disappointed. Kasi, sa readers, sila yung audience na mas maghe-help sa inyo sa story niyo. Next, yung flow ng story. Kung masyado bang mabilis yung pangyayari, so you have to explain everything. Kung anong nangyari one month ago and such. Also, I installed an app where I can freely write the notes for the critics of your story. The grammatical errors and typographical errors are placed there kasi ako, personally, I'm strict when it comes to English grammar, spellings and punctuations, maybe because of my past experience in copy reading. So ayun, just be careful because I'm strict there. Kadalasan sa mga na-cri-critics ko, ang haba ng listahan dahil sa mga wrong punctuations. So, kung ayaw niyo ng perfectionist, better not choose me. But anyways, I also take note kung naiintindihan ba ng readers yung way ng pagsusulat mo at kung obvious ba kung kaninong dialogue iyon.

Also, when I critic, I made sure na may "improvement" sa story mo.

Though di naman ako perpekto HAHAHHAHA minsan pag may nababasa ako na kailangan ng ayos, lumalabas yung pagkaperfectionist ko kahit di naman ako perfect. You know yung feeling na gusto mong mangcritisize pero dapat not in a bad way. Yung gusto mong matulungan sila, pero sino naman ako para gawin yun? So first of all po, yung pagcri-critic ko po kasi, binabasa ko po muna ang first chapter. I check kung may wrong grammars ba, kung may wrong punctuation. Of course, sa isang story, mahalaga din ang plot to give summary to the readers kung anong aabangan nila. I made sure that it is properly explained. And next, Inaalam ko po kung patok siya sa mga readers. Is it unique? And the settings, the places used. Is the story properly written? Yung language. Kung marami bang makakaintindi ng story. And also, how the writer writes it. In what way, I mean, is the way the writer write it easy to read and understood by the readers?

Habang binabasa ang buong story ay nililista ko rin sa notebook ko ang mga nakikita kong pagkakamali (mga grammatically incorrect na salita at pangungusap, maling pagpapaikli ng salita, maling paggamit ng salita at iba pa). Tinitingnan ko rin kung bagay ang plot ng kwento sa genre, pamagat at pabalat nito. Pinagtutuunan ko rin ng pansin ang pagkakalahad ng kwento, kung nakakadala ba ng emosyon. Binabantayan ko kung consisitent pa ang isang character sa kan'yang ugali. At ang pinakapinagtutuunan ko ng pansin ay 'yong ilalagay ng author na twist sa kanyang kwento, kung epektibo ba ito o hindi.
