Days were like the usual. After her daily routines of surgical procedures, Aera knocked on Junho's office, entering as she uttered "I'm heading home first. You have your night shift right? I'll see you."

"Okay. Take care, my baby girl, Aera." Junho then placed his arms on her waist, pulling her closer as he leaned down to give her a soft peck on her lips. She smiled against his lips, mumbling "You too!" She abruptly broke off from his touch, waving goodbye as she sent him flying kisses.

Heading to the parking lot where she parked her blue BMW four wheel drive, she unlocked her car, hearing the beeping sound. Finally entering the car, she strapped her seatbelt on, starting the engine however she is taken aback upon seeing a familiar unpleasant sight of a lethal and dangerous man through the rearview mirror of the car.

Apparently Ma Htut hijacked into her car, he was sitting pretty in the backseat. But before she could turn to face him and fight back, she felt the wincing prick of a needle piercing deep in the crook of her neck, putting her into slumber. It was a vampire sedative drug.

The wrath of Ma Htut was seen, he still felt the vengeance curling in his blood. He was imprisoned. His dreams were all taken away because of Dr. Jung Aera. He blamed her for all the misfortune in his life though it was brought by his shortcomings as a person.

As he saw Aera unconscious, he took the opportunity to place her body at the backseat, later transferring himself on the front seat to drive to a distant warehouse. As he was driving he recalled his preposterous retaliation in Myanmar. He had reasons for that. He ordered Aera not to save the other Burmese soldier due to his jealousy since that man was the third party in his relationship with his spouse. The sadness that was taking over him caused him to do such ruthless acts.

As he finally reached the abandoned warehouse, he chained her in a chair, waiting for her to gain consciousness. Fumbling in his pocket, he fished out a pack of cigarettes and kept one in his mouth as he lit it up. "Wake up!" He hits her head roughly, shaking her for her to wake up.

"W-what? 1st Lieutenant Ma Htut?" She was squinting her eyes repeatedly as she gains a clearer picture of him when he leaned closer to her.

"Welcome back to my arms, honey. We have unfinished business." He blew smoke on her face earning a cough from her.

"There is no one to help you now. I'll make sure to end you before your loving boyfriend comes to save you. " He added, chuckling at how miserable she looked—her hair all messed, body all tensed up.

"Can't we talk things out? " Heaving out a sigh, she tried to remain calm, not being aggressive. Though she knew she had the powers to break out and attack him at this state, she chose to hear him out. Compassion and understanding paved the way.

Ma Htut was enraged, giving her a deathly glare. "What is there to talk about when you already ruined my life?! If only you followed my orders of not saving the man by doing that surgery then none of these things would happen!"

"And what were your reasons?"

"The man you just saved is a homewrecker. He lured my wife. I found out they were cheating behind my back!" His hands were balled into a fist, jaw clenching due to intense fury.

"As doctors, we cannot choose our patients. We are obligated to use our medical skills to the fullest in order to treat anyone requiring medical attention regardless of gender, color, sexual orientation or political affiliations." She explained herself, staring at him as she tried to lessen his aggravations.

Ma Htut suddenly grabbed her hair so tight, tugging it as she could feel the shuddering pain of it being pulled from her scalp. "Listen, you destroyed my life. I lost my wife. I lost my reputation. I lost my credibility as an officer. I wasted years in prison. But look at how special you are, I had to break out of prison just to see you. I even got to travel to Korea just to find you."

"To find and kill you." He leans closer as he whispered, a smirk scowling in as he took out his knife, ready to perform a guillotine. Besides the presence of the drug "Aspivarix" that may kill a vampire, another variable is decapitation. When a vampire is fully beheaded, it may not restore itself, leading to death.

"Kill me then." She narrowed her eyes at him, giving tough vibes.

"You're a vampire right? It's sad to know that all the Aspivarix samples are out of stock. But I know a better way." He grazed the blade of the knife on her porcelain white skin, quickly slashing the side of her neck that cause blood to spurt out. The cut was not that deep enough since he didn't want to kill her just yet. He was laughing at his devious actions.

Back at the hospital, Junho tried calling Aera's number but it was out of reach. His anxiety was growing as he allowed himself to succumb into the world of worries. "A...Aera, what the hell?! Pick up the phone, you stupid woman!"

Moments later, he could feel his cranium crashing, giving him a massive migraine that led to him shutting his eyes full close, seeing a vivid vision of Aera. She was at a warehouse nearly at the South outskirts of Seoul, all chained up by Ma Htut. Ma Htut was grazing the knife on her neck teasingly, still taking his time because he didn't want to kill her yet.

"Ugh!" Out of indignation, he slammed his fist on the table with full force causing the table to deform and crack into half. His power was indestructible now right after discovering he had supernatural strength along with his key power which is the element of fire.

He sits down on his chair, swiveling as he took time to recall traces of where the exact location was. Seconds after, he finally recalled. Luckily he noticed the ZIP code of the abandoned warehouse while he tried to remember the scenario in his head.

Whilst opening his eyes, he was in wonder if it was a sign given to him. Then, he realized, they shared blood together. Once two vampires engage in such intimate acts, they will be bound to eachother forever. Thus, when one is in distress, trails of one's partner will follow one everywhere.

Dialing his wingman's number, he asked for Seojun's assistance and together they went and searched for the place. He picked Seojun up from a nearby café in Myeongdong. They tracked the location of the warehouse based on Junho's memory.

At the car, the two shared their plan to save Aera and how they'd go about it.

"What happened to Aera this time? Seriously when are things going to end?!" Seojun rubbed his nape, his shoulders hunching.

"The lunatic soldier we met in Myanmar came back to haunt her." Junho replied.

"Why would he even do that?"

"When they were having attacks in the battlefield, he didn't want Aera to rescue the patient we were treating. For what reason? I don't know." Junho was clueless still, his left hand runs through his hair while the other was holding onto the steering wheel.

"That's messed up, dude. Okay this is the game plan. I'll enter the warehouse and unlock her from the chains. You deal with the lunatic. You could just burn him since you've discovered that power of yours. Use it." Tapping on his chin, Seojun contemplated.

''Will do. "Junho nodded, finally parking the car near the lamppost. Though things went rough for Seojun and Junho due to the fact they both loved Aera, they decided to work together for her safety.

The two of them got out of the car, scanning through their surroundings. It was a dim alley, eerie darkness surrounding the two of them.

Snapping his finger, Seojun used his power of invisibility, fading into view as he dissolved into air particles. The door of the warehouse was opened, making Ma Htut's jaw drop since he knew he fully shut the door. He went to the door, closing it once more. "The wind is too strong tonight. But nothing will stop me from ending your life." It's been minutes since he planned on killing Aera however he spared her for a few moments since he was pondering if he should really perform such unethical acts.

Aera, on the other hand, saw the key of the locked chains on the floor, she tried reaching out to it through extending her legs. It was difficult as she could feel her muscles contracting and stretching towards the breaking point. However when she saw the key cloaking up in the air, unlocking her from the chains, she gasped. It was odd thus sparking her growing confusion on how was freed from the chains.

"S...Seojun?" She mumbled in a very tiny voice. He responded with a quick brush of air in her face, making her smile. The oblivious Ma Htut was fooled again, finally looking back at Aera. He ran to her with motives of attacking her with the blade. Seojun pushed him, making Ma Htut groan in profanities. "Seriously? How the hell is air attacking me?!"

Raising her shoulder, pretending not to know, Aera chuckled. "Hmm... I don't know." She ran towards the main door, meeting Junho as she gave him a sincere smile. The invisible Seojun followed her.

Junho finally entered, a plume of fire accompanied him as he clenched his fist too hard, his teeth gritting exuded animosity. The smoldering fire exploded filling the vicinity, it was inferno fueled even more by the gallons of accelerants in the warehouse.

"1st  Lieutenant Ma Htut, let's get down to business?" Though, Junho was meters away, he could see Ma Htut trembling as fire started spreading around.

"S...Spare my life." Ma Htut could not breathe, nor could hear the heart in his chest beating, suffocating on the black grey smoke.

Aera made her way to Junho, reaching out to grab his wrist to stop him. "Let him go, Junho." He looked into her eyes seeing compassion and forgiveness thus making him reel back, stopping himself from the destruction he made.

"A...Aera. I don't want to lose you." He hugged her head, making her head rest flat on his chest as he stroked her hair gently.

"Hush... hush...you won't lose me ever." She rubbed his back, snuggling herself even more in between his arms. His arms were shields of his love where she was safe from the absurdity and harm of the world.

Choking on the clouds of noxious smoke, Ma Htut stumbled on the floor, losing consciousness. Aera widened her eyes, freezing at the sight. She broke off the hug, ordering Junho to run to Ma Htut and bring him to the clear since it is dangerous to perform first aid in the middle of flaring fires.

They brought Ma Htut out of the warehouse. Junho performed CPR on him, placing the heel of his other hand on top of the first hand, intertwining the fingers together as he pushed hard and fast near the sternum.

"Call 119!" Aera asked Seojun ,who was now in his normal form, to call the emergency number in Korea and he did as ordered.

"I'm sorry." Harshly coughing out, Ma Htut said his final words.

It was too late. Ma Htut cannot be saved. Regret and dismay haunted Junho at that moment. He was unsure if he would feel contented now that their life is finally peaceful or if he should be disappointed over the death of that man.
