All Hands On Deck
Haneul and the other pirates were fooling around on deck, they were supposed to figure out a ransom note. That was before they got sidetracked.
They were originally swabbing the deck, before Seungkwan threw water at Hanuel. Water dripped off her clothes as she stood deathly still.
"Seungkwan." She growled facing the younger boy. Haneul grabbed the bucket of sea water next to her and hurled it at Seungkwan.
The boy yelped, moving to dodge the water attack. So instead of hitting Seungkwan, the water completely drenched Soonyoung.
The boy blinked for a moment before his mouth formed a toothy grin. "Oi mate! I never did get me revenge for ye tying me up yesterday." Soonyoung walked next to Haneul. "Aye Kwannie, 'Cap and I are going to wipe the floor with ya."
Hansol stepped next to Seungkwan. "Don't touch me boyfriend 'Cap." A playful expression flickered in his eyes. "And Soonie, only I get to call me boyfriend Kwannie."
Minghao's eyes flickered between before walking over to Soonyoung and Haneul's side. Junhei quickly followed blonde. Joshua let out a sigh, grabbing Jeonghan's hand and the pinkettes went over to Hansol and Seungkwan.
"Now the teams are even." Joshua declared. He pointed his mop at the opposing team. "Good luck." Everyone was armed, whatever they could find and us. Except for actual weapons.
Hanuel nodded in confirmation. "Now crew- ye ready?" Fishing a gold coin out of her pocket, she held it out for everyone to see. They all gave a nod, it was the perfect day for a mock fight. Hanuel shifted her thumb under the coin and flicked it into the air.
Time seemed to slow down as the coin twirled in the air. The captain and crew tightened their grips on the mops and buckets they had at their disposal. With a tiny chime, the coin hit the deck and war erupted.
Jeonghan flung his bucket of water at the opposing team, and Junhei appeared in front of his team seemingly cutting the water in half. His brown hair, flying alongside the water droplets. He pointed his mop at Jeonghan with one hand and beckoned him with the other.
Beside him, Minghao broke his mop in half, using his knee as leverage. He was always better with two weapons. He twirled them in his hands once before springing into action.
Minghao ran to the right, and Soonyoung mirrored him although he still had his mop in one piece. A wild grin adorned his face as he swung his mop at Seungkwan. A dull sound rang out as Hansol moved in front of Seungkwan and shielded him with his bucket. A tiny amount of water dribbled out the top. Pushing Soonyoung's mop back, Hansol coated the deck underneath the older boy with water. He grabbed a mop next to him and started swing, Soonyoung nearly falling onto the slippery attack trying to avoid Hansol.
Joshua intercepted Minghao, using his mop to keep the younger boy at a distance. The pink haired boy knew that as soon as Minghao's two makeshift nunchucks came in close range, he was done for. The younger was surprisingly frightening at wielding the pair of weapons. He used to train with the royal guard of China before he became a pirate. He never really used nunchucks since they weren't really a 'pirate weapon' but Hanuel still allowed his to use them against much weaker opponents.
As soon as the battle started, Haneul scampered up the rigging. Reaching the first cross rather quickly, she grabbed a spare rope and wrapped a piece of it around her hand. The rope coarse and rough to the touch. She let out a whoop, swinging towards Seungkwan and Hansol.
Letting go of the rope, her body slammed into Seungkwan's sending them rolling. Haneul leapt to her feet, swift as a cat. Seungkwan got to his feet as Haneul let her feet slide against the deck. Use her momentum she jumped and swung her broom down.
BOOM
The ship rattled as something large splashed near. Everyone teetered on their feet as the ship road over a swell. Haneul cursed, sliding towards the rail she peered into the distance. Unable to see clearly, she grabbed a small telescope. Looking into it, she saw a ship with orange sails approaching.
"ALL HANDS ON DECK!" Haneul hollered. "MAN THE CANNONS PREPARE RETURN FIRE."
Everyone scrambled around the deck, the playful fight long forgotten. Hansol bolted for the helm shaking out his hands. He was going to need a lot of strength to battle both the waves and the wheel.
Haneul climbed the rigging faster than before, Joshua mirroring her on a separate mast. The pair worked in tandem, hands untying the rigging and unfurling the flags.
Jeonghan, Minghao, and Junhei grabbed ammo and started loading cannons, almost slipping and falling with how fast they were moving. The locked the cannons in place before moving to the next one. Matches were brought on deck, ready to light up a chain reaction.
In all the seas that the Crimson Sky had sailed, only one dared to challenge her.
Orange Renegade.
A six member crew if you included the captain. The wasn't even a real crew. It was a crew who decided mutiny was the best option. A band of traitors, the worst of the pirates. And she was captained by no other than person who used to be Haneul's first mate.
Kang Dae.
