Chapter 3 ✉︎ 𝕎𝕖𝕕𝕕𝕖𝕕 𝔹𝕝𝕚𝕤𝕤

Nina was marrying Sonny! They were having a small wedding there in the courthouse. Willow and Michael agreed to come. As well as Dante. For the event. They all agreed it needed to be done so that

Avery would not go back to Ava. She was far too dangerous. Nina was there waiting for Sonny as she wore a off white cream dress to marry Sonny in. Maxie was running late. Nina had invited her to the wedding to.

Maxie was worried about Nina marrying Sonny once again with all the drama surrounding him at the moment. Nina felt content. She needed Sonny. And he needed her.

Maybe this was their second chance at happiness. And she would love and raise Avery as her own once they got Ava out the picture. It would serve Ava right for trying to take Sonny from her to begin with!

Willow fussed over Nina's hair to make sure she looked nice. She felt like her family supporting them this time and meaning it was such a real big blessing. And she felt like it was a dream come true!

Wiley had come to see them marry. He was over the moon that his grandparents were getting remarried.

"Nina, I know you care so much about Sonny. But are you sure this is a great idea? What if Ava gets out of jail? She still can go after you and Sonny" worries Maxie who arrived.

"Let her try! She has all us to go after to" warns Michael. "Ava should have been in jail for Morgan's death! If Kristina dies, she better go there and stay there" declares Michael with anger in his voice.

"Michael" warns Willow. "Wiley can hear you" she whispers. "do not upset him on this happy day" reminds Willow.

Michael nods then softens. He loved his family.

"This will be the best way we can keep Avery safe" Nina reminds them. "I would do anything for that girl"

"I know you will" Willow agrees with a nod. She smiles at Nina.

"What is going on here?" wonders Agent Cates suddenly.

"None of your business" warns Willow.

      "This is none of your concern Cates" warned Sonny sternly.

"It is alright. Sonny asked me to remarry him. We have worked things out. I agreed and said yes. We are getting married" Nina speaks up as Sonny glares at Cates and Cates glares at Sonny.

"You need alot more than a marriage paper to save you" laughs Cates.

Nina grabs Sonny's arm. So, he will focus on the wedding. Sonny stiffens.

He so wanted to punch this guys lights out.

"Not marrying your woman to get her back in your sheets?" Sonny laughs.

Cates blinks in shock that Sonny knew.

"What I do out of the court room is no one's business. But your business is mine because you always get away with anything. Those days will soon be over" warns Cates with a wicked smile on his face. Taunting Sonny the best way he knew how.

"Sonny he is not worth it. Today is a happy day" reminds Dante to his dad.

"Dad, focus on this wedding day" he hears Michael.

"Grandpa is marrying my Grandma Nina" speaks up Wiley.

"How nice for you kid" Cates loses the battle when he sees Wiley. He storms off. Sonny fumes inside as he watches him go. 

"Let's get this done" Sonny happily says once he was gone. 

He leads Nina into the court room to marry her. They have a quick but simple wedding. Then sign papers. They even kiss to seal the deal. Everyone clapped for them. Avery and Wiley hugs them. They everyone was hugging them. Turning the day to a happy day. Thoughts of Cates soon are forgotten.

Then after they all celebrated at the Metro Court for a big dinner. Scott was there having a drink at the bar while he was on a phone call.

He noticed the wedding party coming in and looked over at them all curiously. Carly greets them and congratulated them. Offering them a little cake for the kids to enjoy.

Carly to was going to do whatever it took to get Ava behind bars where she belonged. Jason was there with Carly. Sonny let him stay because of his family and because it made him look good in the public eye right now.

"How coinvent that Kristina can't testify in court over what she saw. But you know Dex still can" points out Scott as he has to stop over to see Sonny.

"We are trying to celebrate our wedding day Scott. Please leave" mentions Nina.

Scott laughs as he shakes his head. "You never will learn will you?"

"Neither will you" points out Sonny.

They glare at one another.

"Ava belongs behind bars and the world knows it" warns Sonny softly.

"Men can you not in front of the kids" warns Carly.

"I was not doing anything" Scott laughs as he shakes his head.

"Send Ava my regards" Sonny chuckles.

Scott walks off raising a hand as he wanders away.

"Good timing huh?" jokes Sonny to Nina.

"I am sure he is off to go tell Ava the good news" says Nina.

"I am glad" remarks Sonny.

"Me to" laughs Nina.

"I wish I could see her reaction when he drops the bomb on her" Nina laughs.

"Me to" Sonny adds.

"Cheers!" Nina says as he hands him a glass of wine. They drink to their new marriage.

"Cheers" Sonny says to her.

"Avery is going to have the best new mommy" Sonny praises her.

"I love her to Sonny. I will help any way I can" she vows.

"I know you will" he adds.

"Nina, I know we do not get along but thank you for doing this for Avery" Carly speaks up. "our family needs to work together right now. We all need each other" she remarks.

Sonny smiles at Carly. He felt like they all did not care about him. But he was wrong. They all did. And they cared about Avery. They were protecting her for him. He was grateful.
