Chapter 2 ✉︎ 𝕊𝕙𝕖 𝕀𝕤 𝔾𝕠𝕟𝕟𝕒 ℙ𝕒𝕪!

     Sonny was livid! He was pacing the floors at General Hospital. His beloved Kristina and her baby were holding onto their life all because of that Ava Jerome! He found out from Dante.

Who had just arrested her for pushing his beloved out the window. Ava had killed his beloved Connie once. Then she had killed off his son as well. Morgan. She was only alive for this long because they shared a child together. Avery.

No more!

His could not handle any more! If Kristina and her baby died then he was pressing charges on Ava. ASAP. She was going to rot behind bars.

There was speculation that she did not push his daughter through the window. But he knew better. As did Dante. Dante knew better. Ava blew up his own son along with her crooked brother. 

This ended!

He was not going to allow Ava to harm another person in his family ever again. Not ever! This made Sonny look weak in the mob family. He was done! He waited around to play the law game. And the law was failing him. No more!

Sonny called Nina. He had another plan up his sleeve to top things off. He knew the court would more go on his side if they saw he was married. And Ava was not married. Things were not in Ava's corner at the moment. So, he was going to use that to his advantage. If Nina would go along with everything he had in mind.

Ava was not going to know what hit her!!

"Sonny! How is Kristina! I came up here as soon as you called me! Do you really think Ava pushed her through that window?" gasps Nina as she rushes to him and hugs him tightly. Alexis was nearby talking to an upset Molly and TJ. Worrying over their beloved baby that Kristina was carrying for them.

"No word yet other than she is not awake and fighting for her life. I can't believe that sake has gone after another one of my kids! No more Nina! She took Morgan! She went after Michael before. No more. I won't let her attack my family" Sonny declares there for everyone to hear.

He was so angry.

"Sonny, everyone can hear you. And I think we need to calm down. Let's go talk in the chapel here" offers Nina calmly to him. She touches his arm gently. He nods then goes to follow her there.

       Nina sits beside him in the chapel. He was so upset. She rubs his back gently and he allowed her to. Her heart went out to him. They both had so much to worry about right now. She wished she could take all his worries away. She saw this side of him when he was Mike to her.

A softer side of him. She loved this side of Sonny. The one who would do anything for his family. He sighs deeply. She knew he had something deep on his mind. She wondered what that might be. Maybe he would talk it over with her. If she could get him to.

"Sonny, tell me what is on your mind" she softly asks him.

"I am worried to death about Kristina but this will help things with Ava. And I have a question to ask you. It is only temporary. But I need you Nina more than ever now" Sonny tells her in a serious tone.

"Ask away" Nina agrees with a nod. "you can ask me anything"

"Alright here goes my thoughts. You know that courts often lean tward members of the family who are married. It is better for the kids interest to have to parents looking after them. Would you consider remarrying me for this trial? To help me win Avery back for good? Ava needs to rot behind bars. She took Morgan from me. She took Connie from me. You know how it feels to lose a child. I can't lose Avery to her! Who knows what will happen to her in Ava's care! We cannot trust her!" declares Sonny.

Nina blinks with surprise. She once wanted to beg Sonny to take her back. She would have given anything to marry Sonny again.

And be a part of his world. Though they often clashed like crazy. Now here he was begging for her to come back to him. She took a deep thought then knew. He was right about it all.

He needed her. Avery needed her to. For protection. She could no longer protect Nelle or protect her beloved Willow from their past. Not even Charolette. But now she was given a chance to protect Avery. She had to for the child.

"Okay, I will marry you Sonny" Nina hears the words coming out of her mouth. She nods as she places her hand on top of hers. "I could not protect Nelle. Or Willow. But I can Avery" she agrees.

"For Avery" he agrees as they look at one another and smile. "Thank you so deeply from the bottom of my heart Nina. You will never regret this" he promises her.

"I love Avery. I still will always love you Sonny. You know that" Nina softly replies to him. She leans in kissing him on his cheek.

"Did you know this whole time your old buddy Ava has been fucking around with Cates?" mentions Sonny bitterly.

Nina gasps. "What?"

"I had him followed by my men. And he was spending the night in Ava's room. Not to mention he walked into the room half naked in front of Joss's best friend Trina" Sonny bitterly remarks. "those two are working together to go after me. And my family"

"Thank god Carly, got out of jail. Did you find out who deleted the recording?" wonders Nina.

He shakes his head. "We thought Spanillie had done it. But he told me he had nothing to do with that" Sonny tells her. "But I am glad Carly is out. And Avery needs her to so much right now" sighs Sonny. "Everything is such a mess"

"The law will see to it Ava might actually pay for everything she has ever done" Nina says feeling a happy chill down her back saying that.

"I hope to god she will!" Sonny agrees. "Now we have a wedding to plan"
