AN: Reposting the original stuff because like one person said they'd be down for that. Also, kinda interesting just to see where I took the main premise in the re-write... the age got bumped waaaaaaay up. 

Blood. That was all he could remember. Red blood. Crimson blood.

Crimson.

He liked the sound of that.

He opened his eyes, to see darkness.

Complete and utter darkness. He found that he liked the darkness as well.

"Hello, child."

What was that voice?

"Who's there?"

"Me? Oh, I'm a simple demon. The demon inhabiting you."

"Inhabiting me? What do you mean?"

"Oh, you know... living in you... possessing you... all that good stuff."

"What?"

"Oh child..." The demon chuckled darkly. "How young and naive. I think it's time for us to wake up now."

The boy's actual eyes flew open and he shot up into a sitting position. Where was he? It looked like a hospital room. He could hear people talking in the hall outside his room.

An eerie grin spread across his face, and his eyes turned a shade of crimson.

He chuckled darkly and stood up from the bed, pulling out all of the needles and medical objects attached to his body.

It was time to have some fun.

An evil cackle echoed through the hospital, and crimson blood splattered onto the walls.

This was only the beginning.

What this city had in store for it was much, much worse then a simple splatter. No, it was in for a flood.

A crimson flood to be exact.
