Chapter 12: Distractions

A somewhat simpler, but one of the more adorable pieces ^^ :)) Also, mature content ahead! I'll post another warning later.

The tune of a Valerian lullaby filled the chamber as I hummed softly, flipping through pages, surrounded by books and scribble-filled papers lying on the bed. My slightly damp hair hung loosely over my shoulders, orange and red colours blinding my vision every now and then before I waved it back behind my ears.

The cool air of the city flowed through the window, over the sheets and ruffling the papers, creating the most calming music and drawing the fresh scent of lilac from my hair. Lying comfortably on my belly I continued to read peacefully, the soft silk of my blue evening dress covering just enough to be decent for whatever jedi would guard me this evening. In case it was someone other than Obi, I had put on a warm bathrobe that was so soft I felt like I was covered by clouds.

I took notes every so often when I found something that could prove helpful, trying to distract myself from the nerves that formed in my stomach. The rumble of Stefan foraging through the closet distracted me, making me lift my head to see what he was doing. I could only see his back and hear frustrated groans every so often as he searched for his transponder.

When the door to my chambers opened, my gaze quickly darted to the new arrival, smile appearing when I spotted his auburn hair and joy-filled eyes. I perged myself up on my elbows and waited for him to come near, broad smile plastered on my face and a red tint decorating my cheeks. "Obi Wan! I was hoping to see you."

He looked slightly taken aback by my enthusiasm, blush appearing as he ran his hand through his hair, walking closer slowly. "Your majesty, always good to see you." Obi saw the mess on my bed when he was near, frowning and scoffing at the image. "Might I ask what you're up to?" His tone was scolding, but his eyes betrayed him.

"Well, Master Windu gave up quite easily this afternoon, so instead of training he gave me another objective; write out Valerian history." I motioned towards my endless scribbles and drawings, depicting the most important myths and legends that formed my culture. "Maybe you jedi might learn a few things from this, new things about the force, about the seidr... That is why I came here, after all."

"Hmm." Obi hummed in agreement, picking up one of the hundreds of pages and reading silently. I looked at him as he continued to look through the others, picking up page after page. Yet, as he picked up another he spotted a book he recognized himself. "What about that?" He asked as he glanced back at me.

"Oh, that, -" Darting towards it I quickly stuffed all the corresponding notes between the pages and closed it, throwing the sheets over the cover to keep him from reading the title. I coughed awkwardly as I sat up, fearing he had seen the drawing of the sith holocron on the opened page. "is nothing, just some innocent studying I've been doing."

"That book is from the forbidden section, is it not?" Obi Wan lifted one eyebrow as he crossed his arms before his chest, narrowing his eyes as he stared me down.

"Maybe." I flushed red under his hard gaze. "I promise I will return it!"

He groaned in response, hiding his face in the palm of his hand as he rubbed his temple. "Right at the moment I think you're -"

"Master Kenobi." Stefan returned from the closet, weapons on his belt and armour on, ready to depart. His eyes narrowed ever so slightly as previous anger arose in his chest, watching the jedi before us warily and with suspicion. "I trust you're here to guard the queen this night?"

"Yes, commander, I am." Obi unfolded his arms to try and look less defensive, frowning when he sensed the hostility coming from the former gentle friend.

"Have you found anything about Lyanna's assailant?" Stefan continued.

"I'm afraid not." Kenobi sighed deeply, gaze falling to the floor as he gently stroked his beard in thought. "Whoever it is, is hiding from our sight up till now. I'm afraid we will only find out more when there is another attack, which I suspect will come soon."

"Well, at least make sure she remains unharmed next time. Because if I find out even a hair on her head has been, -" As Stefan's voice raised with each word he spoke, finger pointed at Obi Wan furiously I quickly interjected.

"Commander, it's all right. You can trust Obi." I watched as his shoulders slightly relaxed, a guilty and concerned look soon overtaking the former suspicious one.

He dropped his arm, biting his lip. "I'm sorry, master Kenobi. This all has me on edge." Stefan sighed deeply. "I'll be going to the temple, is there anything you want me to tell Aidan?"

"Mmh, not really." I glanced down at the pages in front of me until an idea arose, making me smirk mischievously. "Ask about that girl he's been seeing. I'm excited to hear more about our future queen, if he succeeds in convincing her to marry him, of course."

Stefan scoffed, shaking his head as he made himself ready and walked towards the door, passing Obi Wan without another word. "Actually, I think it's a boy." He smirked as he glanced back at me, watching my eyes widen until I smirked again. "Seems I've had a good influence on our king." Stefan joked, winking as his fingers hovered above the door's handle. "You know how chaotic queens can get, Valeria will surely fall with another like, -"

"Commander!" I laughed, throwing a pillow his way, enjoying the chuckles that fell off his lips later.

"I'll see you tomorrow, my queen." He bowed when the chuckles died down and opened the door.

"Goodbye, Stefan. Be careful." I smiled back and watched him leave, a sigh of contentment escaping my lips as the door closed behind him. Leaning my head on my hand, I watched as Obi scoured through the room, eyes watching the windows closely as he scanned the area. He didn't even seem to notice me anymore as he drowned himself in his task. Leaving him to his business, I soon returned to my notes.

It was something that came almost naturally. The books, the scribbles of information and pages filled with knowledge. It had made me who I was before and now I could teach others about everything I'd learned almost subconsciously through the same means. Valeria had a beautiful culture, and even more extraordinary tales to tell.

I lost myself in the process, minutes ticking by without me even noticing. I wrote about the Valarjar, about our long-lost kings and queens, mythical creatures, about the honour and honesty of my people. It was only until I felt eyes on me that I lifted my gaze, meeting Obi's blue orbs as he watched me closely with an adoring smile covering his face.

"What is it?" I blushed as I perged myself up. He had seated himself in one of the large seats, turned it so he could look at me on the bed. His legs were crossed elegantly, his arms leaning on the armrests and leaning forwards slightly.

"Nothing." Obi waved the question away with his hands, but his smile remained evidently. When my eyes narrowed, he laughed shortly. "It's good to..." He quirked his head to the side slightly, eyes going over me. "to see you smile again." He finished, eyes filling with pure adoration.

My heart warmed at his words. The way he spoke, so soft, gentle, like all the bad things had disappeared from the world leaving only warmth. A deep breath escaped my lips as I tried my hardest not to melt, slowly getting up from the bed and making my way towards him, bare feet gliding over the cold floor.

Obi Wan didn't say anything, captivated by my eyes. Not even when I slowly untied the knot holding the bathrobe together, letting the material fall down from my shoulders into a heap on the floor did his gaze falter.

I was left in the nightdress, hands reaching down to the sides of his face as I stood between his knees, thumbs delicately tracing the edges of his beard. He smiled up at me, closing his eyes temporarily and leaning into the palms of my hands, a deep sigh escaping his lips as his shoulders visibly relaxed.

My hands slowly glided down over his skin, enveloping his shoulders and gently pushing him back against the seat, climbing on top his lap and straddling his waist by placing my knees on either side of his body. I leaned forward, capturing the sigh escaping his mouth with my own and connecting them, relishing in his warmth as I pressed myself against him.

Obi didn't hesitate to kiss me back. No, this time there was no need, no lust. It was only love that drove us together, and it was the best feeling I had ever experienced. I finally felt whole, at peace, safe. I could find it all there, in his arms, in his lips as he kissed me, in the soft caresses of his hands. He was everything I could ever need.

We pulled away when we were both in need of air, eyes opening slowly and meeting each other halfway. "I missed you, my darling." He whispered, hand rising to gently stroke my cheek.

"And I missed you, Obi." A smile graced his lips the moment I spoke those words, hands tucking at the back of my head to pull me to him again. When our lips met it seemed like we floated off the surface, joining the stars up in the night's sky.

Okay mature content! proceed at your own risk :)

His hands were everywhere, soothing down my waist, knotted in my hair, trailing up my thighs till all he could pull out of me were soft moans. His touches became more demanding as his tongue slipped into my mouth. I could almost taste the grin that graced his lips as he slowly and delicately pushed away the silk of the dress, fingers inching closer to where I needed him the most. They left circles in their path, drawing figures into the silk of my thighs.

Ever since the practice earlier that day my body had ached for something to relieve the pain, my thoughts drifting off to him each moment I wasn't trying to distract myself. His slow movements, his way of driving me crazy with but a single touch drove me even more insane. Fingers traced the edges of my underwear to the inside of my thighs, making me quiver beneath his touch. I pulled away from his lips, hands tucking at his hair as I whined. "Obi, stop teasing."

He chuckled, nuzzling his nose against mine and then slowly placing a path of kisses to my jaw, his beard scratching my skin in the most amazing way. "We have to be careful." Obi whispered against my ear as he pulled me closer against him, hand kneading my ass and drawing soft gasps from my lips. "Can you be quiet for me, darling?"

Goosebumps arose almost immediately, eyes widening. "Ye-yes."

I could feel the breath on my neck as he grinned, placing kisses all over the skin as his hands squeezed my flesh. "Yes, what?" His fingers were now skimming over my underwear, brushing the spot I needed him the most and awakening fire under my skin. I tried to press myself against him but he wasn't having it, keeping me locked in place.

"I, -" At first I tried to fight it to give in to him so easily. He pulled back, eyes watching mine closely as he halted his movements, eyes narrowing as something twinkled in the blue of his eyes. All restraint disappeared. "Yes, master." I breathed out, looking deeper into his eyes.

Obi Wan smiled, eyes darkening as he pulled me towards him. "Good girl." Just like that his hand lowered, brushing over my clit and moving in tantalizing, agonizing movements that drew whimpers from my lips which he quickly muffled with his own.

Almost immediately my limbs trembled in pleasure, fingers knotting in the brown of his tunic, nails digging into the skin underneath. The tension that had built up ever since training now rose exponentially, blinding my vision with its intensity and making me drop my head against his shoulder with a soft, muffled groan.

"I've been wanting to do this for days now." His voice had dropped to a low, deep rumble, hand grasping my thighs to keep me from bucking my hips against his torturing hand. Obi placed another kiss on my pulse as he whispered. "To hear the addicting sounds you make, -" When his teeth sunk into my flesh and a finger entered me simultaneously, I couldn't help the desperate whimper that escaped my lips. "and to feel, stars, to feel you like this."

All the pent-up emotion and frustration had me reeling closer to my finish quicker than I would have liked. The knot in my belly only tightened further as he teased, drawing slow, tantalizing circles with the right amount of pressure to keep me reeling.

I had to bite on my bottom lip to keep me from screaming out loud as his fingers went faster, brushing exactly the right spots as if he knew every part of my body. "Obi, I..." I couldn't even form coherent sentences as the pleasure blinded me.

"Ssh, darling." He mumbled against my neck followed by another kiss, sucking lightly on the flesh before softening the bruise with his tongue. When he felt me quivering, walls tightening, he pulled back slightly to watch me, applying just the right pressure to keep me on edge. "Look at me."

I didn't dare defy him. So, I met his heavy gaze, pleading him to end it with weak, muffled whimpers. "You are so beautiful." He sighed and I only mumbled in response, drowning in the sea of pleasure. His hand rose, fingers closing around my throat softly and forcing me to keep my gaze locked on his as his breathing quickened with my own. "Let go, love."

When he applied a little more pleasure all of it came crashing down on me like waves, toes curling, limbs trembling and a long, stretched whimper falling off my lips. I had to hold onto his shoulders for dear life as he watched me closely all the while, gasps escaping his mouth at the sigh before him. He kept a slow, steady rhythm till I was puddy in his arms. When it became too much I grasped his wrist, whimpering for mercy. He stilled and then grinned, removing his fingers and holding them up between us.

"I think we'll have to practice more, little one." Obi grinned as he then slowly closed his lips around his fingers, sucking them off while watching me closely, making my heart stop beating all together. "Your silence was rather loud, still." He had the audacity to lift his eyebrow, unimpressed gaze staring me down as my mouth practically fell open.

"Well..." As the bliss slowly but surely made place for new needs, my hands wandered down his chest, tucking at his belt and undoing the clasps that held it together. "We'll see how well you'll do, master."

He quirked another eyebrow at my tone but smiled, nonetheless. "Need I remind you that I have a job to do?"

I huffed as I practically ripped off his tunic, exposing his bare chest. "You should have thought of that before you did all that." I ran my hands over his chest, down, until they played above the rim of his pants. I could see the bulge that had already formed under the cloth, hear his staggered breaths.

"I've waited months for this." My eyes met his. I lowered my face to his ear, whispering softly against him just before I slid my hand under the fabric, making him take in a deep breath through gritted teeth. "Don't think you'll get off this easily."

Happy Valentine's day!
Figured I'd reserve this one for today. Now excuse me while I go eat ice cream, loads of chocolate and sushi and cry while watching star wars.
