(Genos POV)

I ran furiously as fast as I could blinking back tears I ran through the empty park my feet hitting on the stone path I was about to run out the other entrance until the all to familiar car skidded to a Hault blocking the exit. I gasped and stumbled back ready to run a different way but reaper was already out the car and chasing after me.

I was running out of energy and he caught up to me I  whirled around last minute and tried fighting my way out his grip but he held my wrists tightly. He's trying to get the paper out of my hands I bet! I panicked and stomped on his foot making him wince and release his iron grip. I pushed in to him with all my weight and shoved him over.

He tried to pin me down but I held him down as much as I could the files now where scattered on the ground beside us. He was starting to over power me, I thought of something if I bite him I could... I used all my strength and he must have saw what I was gonna do and quickly over powered me. Rolling me over and trying to restrain me.

I wasn't going down that easily having being affected as a kid I learned from a young age to take down a person. I brung my knee up to my chest I pushed him off using it and saw a sharp metal object that fell from the trash can. I lunge for it before reaper could regain his surroundings. It was part of a broken beer can but it seemed sturdy and sharp I quickly got off of my hands and knees and lunged at reaper feeling the metal cut in to my hand on how tightly I was gripping it.

My soul beat pounded in my skull I lunged at reaper and slashed successfully at him cutting his lower ribs I repeated the motion and got him on the cheek, he tried to speak but I didn't give him time I knocked him over again and sat on his chest about ready to plunge the metal in to his face.

But he held my hands tightly away from his face"g-Geno you need to stop!" He sputters out panting heavily the blood bloomed from the cut on his cheek running down the side of his face. I breathed heavily too exhausted but remained stone  faced "just, Just l-let me explain." He breathed out again his chest rising and falling rapidly I didn't lower the weapon but waited to hear is explanation

"My job is to kill people like you. A-and I know, and you, know I did a lot of bad things I played people and I'll admit it was my original intentions I did have thoughts but those thoughts are gone, Geno. Cause I do love you." He said and then met his eyes with mine with such sincerity " God. I love you so much it hurts you drive me crazy on how much I love you ." He breathed I softened a little "I don't know who gave you those but what ever they said probably isn't all true so... I won't stop you if you decide to put them out there Geno." He said holding his gaze with mine he looked so defeated.

I had to break the gaze I looked off to the side at the papers "all those people did they deserve it." I asked softly. Reaper was silent I looked back down at him and he genuinely looked sad "no, they didn't and Iam, so sorry" he said so quietly I struggled to hear it. "But you have to understand I was only doing my job I was told they where emotionless blood thirsty people...all of them where.." he paused still not looking at me "but then I met you"

This was my breaking point as much as Iam angry right now I do love him too I dropped the metal object and felt tears slip down my cheeks. I hugged his tightly. This probably so strange two people just hugging on the floor but I couldn't care less. He rubbed my back in soothing circles calming me down.

I got off of him and he wiped a tear away with his thumb, and kissing me softly, of course I'm still mad but at least I know he's sorry, the only thing now is that he has to prove it to me.
