(Genos POV)

We walked out of the hospital in silence glancing at reaper he seemed tense every few seconds he would check his watch "so where will you go now?" I asked trying to break the silence "Home probably to sleep off these wounds" he refused to meet my gaze it was obvious he was lying. "Where are you actually going" I said  firmly sparking my brothers attention afraid this conversation might get more aggressive.

Unexpectedly Reaper Locked eyes with me and said sternly "I'm going home." Then he Turned on his heel and walked off I clenched my jaw unhappy with his answer. "Maybe we should follow him Yo," said fresh "nO tHaTs a TeRrIbLE IdEa" I rolled my eyes as they begun to bicker "GUYS where following him"

We managed to follow his car silently with out being noticed it eventually stopped at a dark allyway "wait Hear" I whispers to them before they could protest I hopped out I'm used to keeping quite when I'm getting victims but they aren't there about as silent as Elephants on squeaky floor boards.

Looking around the corner and saw a couple of figures  along with a body on the ground, Reaper went to his job I New it I thought leaning in a bit more I could hear there conversation

"Jeez man you look like h331" one said jokingly the other scoffed who I recognized to be Reaper " says the one with the black lines on his face" "WHA- that's not fair one of those-" "Guys shut up will ya!" Hissed the other person who I assumed to be the boss he had a more authority in his voice "So Captain what are we looking at" he said turning to the one who was bent down looking at the body. Shoot dose he mean police captain?!?

There was more conversation before I leaned in to far as part of the brick of the old building I was leaning on broke off hitting the ground noisily. I froze as all there attention was drawn to me. "GET THEM" I gasped and started running almost falling as I tried to find my footing I flew  around corners trying to loose them I looked back and didn't see anyone grinning I sighed in relief till I looked back and came in to impact with someone else I tried to stumble backwards but they grabbed me I wriggled around before the familiar voice spoke "relax relax it's okay it's only me" I looked up to meet his eyes relaxing a bit I asked "Why did u stop me let me go you lied to me" I whispers angerily he sighed "If I let you go and you keep running they will catch you so follow me" he didn't answer my other questions but I followed him quickly anyways

"hear hide" he motions to this small space between houses that's tiny and could only fit two people he sighed "we don't have all night they will be hear any second" grudgeingly I slipped in before he followed he was so close to me I could feel his chest rise up and down and just as reaper expected foot steps came I tenses afraid reaper grabbed my hand as if to soothe me I held my breath willing for them to leave "Damn it he's gone re group find the rest" "yes sir." And the footsteps faded releasing the breath I rested my head on his chest relifed I felt Reapers body stiffen at the action before he relaxed and just turned it in to a hug I suppose to make it less awkward.

Eventually I looked up not realizing how close our faces where if he looked down a little more he would be kissing me I felt my cheek heat up at the thought I saw a slight blue dusting on his cheeks as well as he leaned in slowly to kiss me

When we broke apart he laughed softly I'm terrible at my job huh while there over there trying to solve the murder I'm over hear kissing the person who did it." I gave  a sad look glancing to the side before he gently grabbed my chin making me look in to his eyes "but they never said the culprits would be this cute" I blushed making him chuckle as we stepped out the ally way I felt cold with out him being close to me so I couldn't help but shiver.

He pulled off his black hoodie and handed it to me I widend my eye sockets but gladly took it we started walking back to where my brothers car is hiding I was lost in thought when I felt his hand lace through mine I smiled slightly but I covered it with my scarf eventually we made it as he tapped on the glass Fresh rolled his window down "How May I help ya today broskie ya know how unrad it is to pull a stunt like that?" Reaper rolled his eyes Amused "I brought this one back" he said easing my arm up as if he couldn't see me fresh nodded as we walked to the other side of the car door " Well this is goodbye for now" he said about to walk off before I grabbed his arm "Please stay," I said before realizing my sentence he tilted his head "I'm sure you brother wouldn't want me staying" I looked down embarrassed I got rejected before he spoke again "but you can stay at mine" he shrugged I smiled "Okay" I walked to freshs window I'm staying the night at Reapers don't blow up the house while I'm gone" "great I'll tell Error right now he's passed out asleep have fun but not to much" he said speaking normally for once before he pulled away I Turned to reaper who motions me t follow we walked a bit away avoiding the ally when we finally made it to his car "ready to go?" He asked twirling his keys around his finger I nodded "yes"
