The team were currently on the BAU's private jet heading to Ohio where an Unsub kept brutally murdering lesbian and bisexual females, with a severe amount of overkill.

All Y/N knew was that whoever was killing these women were pissed off at these women or someone resembling these victims.

So here they all were, going over the case file and trying to get the profile on the jet ride to Ohio, Emily and Y/N sitting next to each other in their seats.

Morgan finally speaks up, "Is it possible that it could be a woman struggling with her sexuality?"

"I don't think so, look at the overkill on them, the Unsub would have to be pretty pissed off and have a lot of strength to do that amount of overkill. I was thinking possibly a boyfriend or husband who's significant other left him for a lesbian or bisexual woman." Y/N replies to Derek, looking around at the group.

"That would actually make more sense, since there are absolutely no hesitation marks on any of the victims, not even the first." Reid adds in.

"Penn, can you do a search to see how many men were recently divorced in the past couple of months?" Y/N questions as the jet is getting ready to land.

"I sure can, I'll let you know if my search comes up with anything." Penelope says before the screen she's on goes dark.

When the team land they all split up, Morgan, Reid, and Rossi all head to the most recent crime scene while JJ, Hotch, Prentiss and Y/LN head to the local police station to see what they have on the case so far.

Awhile after everyone is back at the police station the team realize it's getting late so a few members of the team decide to sleep in shifts at the station while trying to figure out the case.

In the morning Y/N is awoken by the sheriff coming into the room the team were working in to inform the FBI agents that there has been another murder.

Which is why Y/N was on the phone with Penelope Garcia seeing if she had any results on the search she asked her to do on the jet.

"The search has yielded twenty men in the Ohio area have gotten a divorce with their wife in the past month. Anything you can tell me to narrow the search even more?" Penelope asks from the phone.

As Y/N paces around the room thinking she replies with, "How many of them were filed by the wife and not by the husband? He seems to be pretty pissed towards women because she left him."

"Out of the twenty that leaves us with six men." Penelope replies.

"Is there any way you can see if any of them were left for a woman?" Y/N asks Penelope again.

"I will have to do some digging into their lives but fear not, Penelope has this covered. I'll call you back in a little bit with what I found." She replies before the line goes dead.

Penelope finally got back to Y/N later that night, narrowing her search down to two of the six men, both having been left for another woman.

"Thank you Penelope, you are the best! We are going to check both locations and talk to the men." Y/N says happily, ready to finally catch this asshole.

"We have two men to look at, Harold Sweeney and Khalil Barnes." Y/N says to the team as she walks back in to the room they were set up in.

"Alright since we're not even sure if we have anything solid yet, Derek, I want you and Y/N to head to Harold's house and I want Reid and Prentiss to go to Khalil's house. The rest of you stay here with me." Aaron Hotchner says to the team.

Derek and Y/N were in the SUV heading towards Harold's house, almost arriving at their destination.

They finally arrive and Derek parks on the side of the road before the two step out of the SUV and walk up to the door, Y/N knocking when the arrive.

Harold opens his door, clicking his tongue when he notices the lesbian/bisexual FBI agent standing in his doorway.

"Are you Harold Sweeney?" Y/N questions the man once he answers his door.

"Yes I am. And you are?" He questions, already knowing who the agents were.

"I am Y/FN Y/LN, and this is Derek Morgan we're from the FBI we were just here to question you-" the agent starts before Harold runs, shoving past the agent and running to hide somewhere on his property.

"Split up, you go that way I'll go this way." Y/N says, pointing the way she needed him to go.

"Okay but I really don't think we should spilt up." Derek says to her.

"Do you really want to let this scumbag get away while you argue with me? We'll be fine Derek." The agent says before she rushes off the other way towards the barn.

Harold was pissed that the lesbian/bisexual agent had the nerve to come onto his property so when she was so stupid to leave her teammates side, he knew she had to be his next. He would make her girlfriend Emily suffer by killing her little lesbian/bisexual lover.

Y/N came around the corner of the barn, not watching her back very well so Harold grabs her, the shock making her drop her gun as the man tightly wraps his arms around the girl.

She screams "DEREK! HELP ME!" as loud as she can before Harold grabs her gun and uses the butt of it to knock her out.

Harold then picks her up roughly and carries her to his truck, tossing her in the back and driving away, taking her to his cabin in the forest before Derek can even make it to where the scream had came from.

Y/N woke up an hour later strapped to a chair with Harold grinning because she's finally waking up, his camera set up so when she did wake up her girlfriend Emily and all of her team could watch him torture her.

Back with the team Derek rushes to the police station informing everyone of what happened before they frantically go back to looking for Harold and now Y/N.

An hour into searching for where he could have taken her Penelope tells them she has a live video coming straight from the scumbag himself so she sends it to the team. The screen shows Y/N passed out and strapped to a chair, her eyes just now fluttering to wake up.

Tears start to form in Emily's eyes as she sees her girlfriend strapped there in the seat, a bloody nose and evidence that she had been crying.

"We have to go save her..." Emily mutters out as she sees the pain in her eyes, "Penelope is there anyone in his family that owns a cabin, the walls look like cabin walls."

The team has to watch as she opens her eyes the man starting to beat the shit out of her, throwing punches to Y/N left and right as she cries, hoping her team and her girlfriend will find her soon.

"His ex-wife owned a cabin in the woods before they divorced and after the divorce she gave him ownership of the property, I'm sending you all the address now." Penelope says quickly before all their phones ding simultaneously.

"Thank you Penelope you are great at what you do." Emily Prentiss says with a sniffle, starting to suit up so she can go bring her girlfriend home not able to stand seeing her like that for much longer.

When they arrive at the cabin Derek kicks the door down, the team all aiming their guns at Harold who held a knife in his hand, getting ready to start stabbing Y/N.

"PUT THE KNIFE DOWN AND BACK AWAY FROM MY GIRLFRIEND HAROLD." Emily yells loudly.

The man turns around to see the whole team aiming their guns at him and he knows he's done for, so he takes his knife and slits his own throat, blood spilling out all over Y/N as she cries.

Emily rushes over and gets her girlfriend out of the chair, carrying her to the ambulance they had waiting outside as she sits in the back with her as they check her out.

Y/N has a few bruises and a black eye, the Unsub lucking not breaking her nose or any of her ribs during the whole time he was hitting her.

After the paramedics say she's clear to leave the team finishes up what they needed to do at the police station before getting on the jet and flying back home.

When they land Emily and Y/N go home to their shared apartment and cuddle up next to each other in bed, Emily not wanting to let her girlfriend go after what happened.

"Next time be more careful baby, please, I can't lose you, I love you so much. I couldn't handle seeing that asshole hurting you. Promise me you'll be more careful." Emily says to Y/N who has her head resting on Emily's chest.

"I'm sorry Emily... I promise Ill be more careful. I shouldn't have split up with Derek I told him it'd be easier to find him quickly but it was a mistake." Y/N says as she squeezes her eyes shut, regretting her decision terribly now, "But all thanks to you and the team I came home safely. I love you so much too Emily, thank you for saving me..."

"I'll always save you baby, it's what I'm here for. Now get some rest, you need it." Emily says as she rubs Y/N's head as the girl falls asleep on Emily's chest.

Emily falls asleep not long after, keeping her girlfriend held close to her all through the night not wanting to let her go again after almost losing her.
