It had been three months since her and her abusive boyfriend had broke up and Y/N was dating someone new, she had a boyfriend in the army named Landon.

She was finally bringing him to meet her parents when he caught her off guard and started kissing her in the elevator on the way up to the BAU office.

When the elevator doors ding open the couple were still making out in the elevator, Penelope and Derek stood outside of it knowing their daughter was coming to visit so they were waiting on her.

What the two parents definitely did not expect to see was their daughter making out with a man in an army uniform in the FBI's elevator.

Derek starts to tap his foot before he clears his throat, "Ahem, baby girl, what the hell are you doing?"

Y/N freezes in her spot, jumping apart from her boyfriend and laughing nervously, "Uhm, hi dad... I was coming to introduce you and mom to my boyfriend, Landon, but not like this..."

"It's a uh, pleasure to see you again sir..." Landon says awkwardly, rubbing the back of his neck as his cheeks are a dark red.

"Wait you two know each other?" Y/N says as the two step out of the elevator and into the hallway with her parents.

"I know his father, he and I are really good friends. But I better not catch you making out with my daughter in the elevator of my work building again, got it?" Derek says sternly, a small smirk on his face to show he's just messing with the two.

"Oh Derek stop it, they're cute, but you better not hurt my baby girl, her last relationship was not good at all." Penelope says with a smile before hugging him kindly.

"I second that, don't hurt my baby girl and the two of us will get along just fine." Derek says with a smile, patting Landon's back.

"Do you want to join us for dinner and a movie tonight?" Penelope offers, a smile on her face.

"Yeah that'd be great, thank you." Landon says with a smile.

They start to head towards the elevator again, all of them heading to their vehicles to start making their way towards the restaurant they were going to be eating at.

When they arrive at the restaurant they park their cars and walk into the place together, sitting at a booth seat before looking at the menu while they wait on the waitress to take their orders.

After the waitress takes their orders they all make some small talk, Derek and Penelope approving of Landon dating their daughter.

Finally the waitress brings them all their food and they enjoy it, savoring the food from the restaurant because it was a Morgan family favorite restaurant.

"This food is really good!" Landon says with a smile, "Thank you for letting me join you all for dinner tonight."

"You're welcome dear! And you're welcome to join us anytime you're in town!" Penelope says with a smile.

"The food is always good, that is why this place is a Morgan family favorite." Derek says with a chuckle before they all go back to eating their food.

Once they're all finished with their dinner they head back to their cars to start the journey to the Morgan Family home consisting of Penelope, Derek and Y/N to watch a movie or two together before Landon heads home.

When they arrived at the Morgan household they all sat together on the couch, flipping through the Netflix app searching for some movies as Penelope went to make popcorn.

Penelope grabs two bags of popcorn out of the cabinet before putting them in the microwave, grabbing a bowl out of the cabinet as she waits on it to finish popping.

Once it's finished she pours both bags of the popcorn into the big bowl before carrying it out into the living room with her, sitting it on the coffee table afterwards so anyone can grab some.

They settled on watching both of the ghostbusters movies together in a row, Derek pressing play immediately after Penelope sat down and got comfortable.

Y/N and Landon cuddle up next to each other with a blanket as they ate some popcorn and watch the movies, enjoying each other's company and occasionally talking about various scenes from the movies.

During the second movie it had started to get later at night and Y/N was still full from dinner, slowly getting tired as her head rested on Landon's shoulder the girl starting to fall asleep with her head leaning against him.

Landon smiles at his now sleeping girlfriend, the sight making him realize just how tired he was as well, the boy continuing to watch Ghostbusters as he slowly got more tired.

Penelope and Derek were also cuddled up together in a blanket, smiling bright at the sight of their daughter sleeping with her boyfriend on their couch.

The boy drifts off to sleep before the second movies credits start to roll, Penelope and Derek smiling and shutting off the television before they put their now empty popcorn bowl in the kitchen sink.

After they do that Penelope decides to go wake the two up and have Landon go sleep in their guest room for the night since it had gotten so late instead of him having to drive home tired.

Penelope shakes them softly, "Hey kiddos you fell asleep during the movie and it's pretty late. Landon you can sleep in our guest room for the night so you don't have to drive home tired, alright?"

Landon smiles kindly at Penelope before he replies sleepily, "Thank you Penelope you're really sweet."

"I can show him to the guest room before I head to bed so you and dad don't have to." Y/N says with a smile.

She then stands from the couch and holds her boyfriends hand, leading him into the guest room before kissing him softly, the boy kissing her back softly before he smiles and climbs into the bed.

"Goodnight Y/N, I'll see you in the morning. I had fun tonight." Landon says with a sleepy smile in her direction.

"Goodnight Landon, I had fun too! I'll see you in the morning." She replies before leaving the room, closing the door behind her with a smile.

Y/N then walks into her parents room and hugs them both tightly, kissing their cheeks and telling them goodnight before she heads into her own room.

Once she's in her room she climbs into bed, shutting her bedroom light off and quickly drifting off to sleep, really happy about how the events of the day went.
