Spencer comes out to you as bi and you surprise him by also coming out as queer

You are standing in the kitchen making dinner and waiting for your boyfriend to get home when you hear a knock on the door.

You open the door and it's Spencer, standing there with an expression on his face that you couldn't quite place.

"Hey babe, come on in" you say and he walks in and sits on the couch, hands fidgeting in his lap. He's nervous.

You sit down next to him. "You okay, Spence?"

He starts to nod and then pauses, and shakes his head slowly. "No, there's something I need to tell you, I'm scared you won't like it."

Your heart feels like it drops into your feet. This is it, he's leaving you. You take a deep breath.

He takes your hand and squeezes it.

"Y/N..." he begins, and then stops and takes a deep breath. You are holding your breath.

"I love you, Y/N. I have for a very very long time. You have been my biggest support through so much and I trust you implicitly. Which... is why I can't keep this from you."

You feel your heart skip a beat as you realize that he isn't breaking up with you. But you still have no idea what any of this is about. Did he...hurt someone?

Spencer wouldn't. You begin to wonder just as he says

"I have come to the realization that I am... I am bisexual. I'm bisexual Y/N"

He says it quickly, as if he had been holding it in for so long, which you realize he probably had.

You feel your eyes widen and you let out the breath you had been holding in and began to laugh.

He frowns at you but you can't stop laughing. "Y/N..." he begins but you put up a hand to stop him.

"I...I'm not laughing at you I promise." You wheeze. When you finally compose yourself, you throw your arms around him.

"I'm laughing because I was worried you were leaving me." You pull back and smile at him.

"I can't say I'm surprised. I love you Spencer Reid and I always will."

You kiss him on the cheek and stand up.

"Plus, personally I see the appeal. I don't like labels but women are too pretty for me to be straight."

He laughs at that and hugs you tightly.

"I love you so much." He murmurs into your shoulder.

You pull back and study him.

"You gonna tell the team or keep it to yourself? You know they'll love you regardless."

He thinks about it and nods. "Eventually. When the time is right."

You pull him into an embrace once more.

"Spencer I love you. And I'm so glad that you are trusting me with this information. You are my world."
