You smile at the whiny pup tucked in your coat. It squirms all around, whimpering for you to let it out. "Quiet. We don't want the team to hear you yet," you whisper to the pup. The puppy stills, quietly whimpering.

You walk into Quantico, holding the puppy close to your chest. The receptionist behind the front desk, Glenda, smiles politely. "Is that the puppy?" she whispers. You nod. "Yeah. I thought I would surprise Aaron. Are they back yet?" you ask. Glenda nods. "Got back about fifteen minutes ago," she says. You smile. "Thanks," you say. Glenda smiles in return.

You head to the elevator, holding the puppy tight, so it won't escape. "A few more seconds and you can meet your daddy," you say in a baby voice to the pup, whose head is popped out of your coat. You scratch behind its ear, chuckling as it attempts to bite your hand.

The elevator pings and you push the puppy back into your coat. You walk down the hall, to a set of glass doors labelled BAU. The puppy whimpers. You shush it, before opening the glass doors, meeting Spencer in the process. He looks up, smiling at you."Hi, Y/N. Hotch is in his office," Spencer says. You smile, thanking him.

"Spencer, would you like to see Aaron's gift?" you ask. Spencer nods. You unzip your coat, showing him the puppy. Spencer's eyes light up and he smiles widely. "Hotch is going to love it. Is it a he or a she?" Spencer asks. "It's a she. I don't have a name for her yet, though," you respond. Spencer scratches the puppy's head.

You hear a squeal and a gasp, before bright pink fingernails start scratching the puppy's head. "It's so cute! What's it's name?" Penelope asks. "She doesn't have one yet," you say. Penelope gasps. "A nameless puppy? Is Hotch going to name it?" she asks. "Jack is. I'm bringing her by here, though. She is Aaron's dog," you say. JJ and Emily start petting your puppy, smiling. JJ starts talking baby talk to it.

Derek furrows his brows, coming over to where you are. "What's goin' on?" he asks. He spots the puppy trying to escape the many hands touching and scratching it. "Did you get yourself a puppy?" he asks. You smile. "It's a gift for Aaron," you explain. Derek looks at the puppy, smiling, then shakes his head.

"I'm goin' home," he announces. A chorus of "bye Derek" and "bye Morgan" and one "goodbye my god of chocolate thunder" sounds. Then, a "what's happening?" You turn around, seeing Aaron walking towards you. Everyone else says their goodbyes and you put the puppy behind your back. You smile brightly.

"I thought that I would give you a present," you say. Aaron quirks an eyebrow, arms crossed. You pull the puppy out from behind your back. Aaron smiles slightly. "Is it a he or a she?" he asks. You smile slightly. "It's a she," you say. The puppy barks as you hand her over to Aaron.

"Have you named her?" Aaron asks. You shake your head, watching him scratch the puppy's chin. "No. I figured I would let Jack name her," you say. Aaron holds the puppy against his chest. "I'm ready to go," he says. You laugh at Aaron clutching the puppy as she tries to escape. "She's trouble, Aaron. She doesn't like to be held," you say. He smiles. "Well let's go before she starts biting," Aaron says.

You agree and the three of you exit Quantico. You head to your small home so Jack can meet and name the puppy.
