The forest
---Errors POV----
"Where's Lust?" Dust asked.
Horror didn't answer and proceeded to push of the tree he was leaning on and continued to walk on.
The others glanced at me questioningly and I shrugged in response.
"Let's go." I said.
Horror led the way through the trees. He seemed to have a chosen destination in mind.
"Hey do you think Lust is dead?" Killer whispered to me.
"He could be, Horrors acting strange."
"Well Lust wasn't actually that bad of a guy, as soon as you got past the extreme pervert side of him he was actually okay."
I nodded. Maybe he had died.
Our question was answered when we entered a clearing and Horror was knocked off his feet by a furious skeleton.
Definitely not dead then.
"How dare you leave me!" He screeched. "I thought you had died or something!"
Yup that's Lust.
Horror chuckled and pushed himself up into his feet, pulling Lust into his arms for a hug.
Lust remained stubborn, not accepting the hug for a while. Then he sighed and melted into it, resting his head against Horrors chest.
Nightmare fake coughed, ruining the moment completely. "Umm sorry to ruin your moment, but we need to keep moving." He said.
I nodded. "Yeah. We need somewhere to stay though."
Everyone fell silent. We had nowhere to stay now. All our food and supplies were back at the house. How did they even know that that's where we were hiding?
None of what happened today makes any sense.
We had all been silent for about a minute when Nightmare spoke up.
"There is one place I know that we could go."
"That's great." I said. "Where is it?"
"Along way away." He said.
"How long is long?"
"About three hours walk."
Horror and Lust groaned. "That's a lot of hours." Lust whined.
"Well it might be our only option." I growled.
Just then Cross held up a hand and shushed us all.
We all stoped and listened. Voices. Coming our way.
"I'll distract them. Keep going west until you reach a clearing with a lightning struck tree. Then wait for me." Nightmare whispered.
I nodded. "Let's go." I said to the others. They obediently followed me.
Nightmare grabbed Cross' arm. "Your with me." He growled. Cross nodded and stood by Nightmare watching as we ran deeper into the woods.
Soon the two of them were out of sight. Blocked by the tall dark oak trees.
---Cross' POV----
I glanced nervously at Nightmare as the others slipped out of sight off into the trees.
I could hear voices and the sound of feet snapping twigs getting closer. Why aren't we moving? I looked at Nightmare again, my expression clearly saying my thoughts.
He held up a hand, his stare saying 'not yet'. I gulped and looked around for any signs of the police.
My gaze shifted over to Chara who was currently looking at some bushes like they were the most fascinating thing in the world.
"There's someone in there." He said casually, indicating to the bush that he was floating above.
"MOVE!" I yelled at Nightmare, ramming into him and knocking him to the ground into the dry leaves as gunshots rang out.
"There's one behind this tree as well. And over there. Damn they're everywhere." Chara said, a hint of amusement in his voice.
"THEY HAVE US SURROUNDED!" I yelled. Nightmare cursed and grabbed hold of my arm. We teleported a few feet away, scrambling to our feet.
We watched as an officer emerged from the bushes scanning the area. We stood still purposely waiting for him to spot us.
His gaze traveled over to us and they called out pointing in our direction. We booked it and ran in the opposite direction that Error and the others had gone in.
The police quickly took the bait and chased after us, yells and gunshots ringing out through the forest.
I whooped at laughed at the rush of adrenaline I was getting.
Nightmare laughed as well, both of us keeping pace with each other, ducking under branches and weaving in and out of trees.
This is what it meant to be free.
---Lusts POV----
We ran on through the trees, following the directions Nightmare had given us.
Well.
When I say directions I mean which way to head, and a place we needed to stop. Not the best instructions I had ever received.
We paused at the sound of yelling followed by gunshot. Had Nightmare and the psycho (learn his name Lust!) got hit?
We all glanced at each other, then visibly relaxed at the sound of cheering and whooping followed by more gunshots heading away from us. Fading into nothing.
"Never doubt those two." Dust muttered.
"I know right." Killer said.
Error rolled his eyes. "Let's keep moving."
I groaned and shuffled reluctantly forward. I felt someone grab my arm and drag me along it was Horror. I huffed and sped up a bit to keep up with him.
"Slow down." I whined.
"Nope." He said playfully, continuing to drag me along by the arm.
I was forced to jog to keep up with everyone else, mumbling all the way.
"We can rest when we reach where Nightmare said he'd meet us." Error said. Not bothering to look at us.
I groaned again.
"But that could be ages away."
"Tough."
---Genos POV----
I was sat down in a white room. There were no decorations. Just plain white. Nothing but a desk and two chairs, one on either side.
I was currently tied to one of them, the restraints were rather tightly wrapped round my wrist.
Magic restraints were also locked round my wrists. I had discovered that when I had attempted to teleport out of this room, a sharp pain had flashed through me causing me too hiss and look down, inevitably noticing them.
I looked around, already bored of this room. I still don't understand how the police knew we were there.
There's no way they could have known.
I replayed earliers events in my mind, the sudden rain, the arrival of the police, seeing the others run for it, attempting to escape as well.
Slipping, falling, then being caught. Caught by that smirking skeleton with the cocky attitude.
I could vaguely remember being carried by him to a police car, strapping hand cuffs and magic restraints round my wrist, and being shoved into the car.
I must have fallen asleep at some time during the drive to the police station because I have no clue how I got in this room.
My thoughts were abruptly stopped by the sound of voices and footsteps drawing near.
I looked around the room, seeing if their was anything I might have missed in here that could either be used as a threat to me, or something that could help me.
Nothing.
I groaned in frustration, the voices had gone silence and I could sense that they were just outside the room, standing by the door.
For some reason I held my breath.
The handle turned, the door swung open, and two skeletons walked in.
---------------------------------------------
I can't be asked to right anymore rn.
Well Lust is safe, I had you all fooled.
I would never kill Lust.
Or would I?
