Horror Stories in the Rain

Errors POV

We were all sat in the living room, on the sofas or on the floor board out of our minds.

It was raining outside, a steady downpour of depressing droplets. The reason that we were all downstairs, was the fact that this house is very, very old.

Many leaks from the roof forced us all to retreat downstairs. We all slept in the living room anyway, but there isn't much room for personal space.

Horror and Lust were sat on one sofa together silently whispering stuff to each other. I didn't want to know what.

Geno was sat on a single person sofa, with his legs crossed beneath him, reading a book.

His eye never left the page, constantly skimming across the pages. Ignoring all of us.

Killer and Dust were passed out asleep sprawled across two mattresses that had been chucked in the middle of the room.

Soft snores could be heard coming from their slightly open mouths.

Nightmare had wandered off into the kitchen to do....whatever. I leaned over on the sofa I was sitting on, trying to get a view into the kitchen to see what he was up to.

I could just about see the back of him, nothing else, I would have fallen off the sofa if I'd leaned anymore.

I leaned back and sunk into the sofa the old fabric letting of a cloud of dust causing me to have a coughing fit.

While I was busy choking on the dust let off from the sofa Nightmare walked back into the room, he looked rather amused at the sight of me dieing in front of him.

"Help." I chocked out. Reaching my hand out towards him dramatically. Nightmare stared at me clearly not impressed. One of his tentacles reached out behind me and thumped me on the back.

I let out one last great cough and collapsed on the sofa gasping in sweet air. "Are you done now?" Nightmare asked.

"Yup." I responded, back to normal.

During my coughing fit I had managed to wake Killer and Dust, who were now sat up, rubbing their eyes with sleepy confused expressions.

"Finished your beauty sleep you two?" Horror teased.

"Yeah we have. And it looks like you need some to!" Killer yawned, with a small smile visible on his face.

Horror merely grunted in response, putting his arm round Lust and pulling the smaller skeleton closer.

Lust happily complied and snuggled up into Horror's jacket a happy smile on his face.

"What's gotten into them?" I heard Geno murmur.

"Their together duh. Didn't you know?" Killer said, his voice laced with sarcasm.

"Well so-rry." Geno retorted, before sighing irritability and returned to reading his book.

"Well then now that everyone's awake, how about we tell some horror stories to lighten the mood?" Killer said energetically whilst clapping his hands together.

No one answered.

"Great! I'll start!" He said, before his voice dropped a whole octave...

"There was once a man who lived in an apartment. He lived all by himself with his dog. And every night before he went to sleep the dog would lick his hand. It was almost like a routine.

The dog would sleep under the mans bed ever night as it enjoyed the company-"

"This is stupid." Nightmare muttered, rolling his eyes.

"Shhhhh!" The others said. This could be interesting!

I looked over at Nightmare sharing his board expression, before turning back to listen to Killer continue.

"As I was saying. One night the man went to go to bed as usual, and his dog licked his hand from under the bed.

The man got into bed and fell asleep. But in the middle of the night he woke up to the sound of the tap in the bathroom running.

Drip. Drip. Drip.

So the man got out of bed and went into the bathroom to turn the tap off.

He then went back to his bedroom and got on his bed, sticking his had down the side of the bed, and felt his dog lick his hand. So he fell asleep.

He woke up a few hours later to hear the tap dripping again....

Drip. Drip. Drip.

So he got up and went into the bathroom turned of the tap, went back into his bedroom got in bed let his dog lick his hand and went back to sleep again.

Then he woke up again-"

"Let me guess. To hear the tap dripping?" Nightmare asked sarcastically.

Killer sent him a glare and I nearly laughed. But in all honesty I wanted to know where Killer was going with this story of his...

"Yes Nightmare. You are correct. The man woke up to hear the tap dripping again.

Drip. Drip. Drip.

So he got out of bed bored of this routine. He stood up ready to go to the bathroom and felt his dog lick his foot.

He stroked its head, feeling it's curly fur. He then went into the bathroom to see two things...

This time the hot tap had been left on... And the shower curtain had been drawn. The shadow of something hanging was visible.

With a shaking hand the man reached out and griped the end of shower curtain and pulled it back...."

Killer paused giving us all a wicked grin before continuing. He had us all hooked.

"He pulled back the curtain to reveal his dog hanging from the ceiling, a noose round it's foot, with its throat slit. It's blood filling the bath.

Shocked the man recoiled and stumbled away to see the condensation from the hot tap had steamed the bathroom mirror and their written on the misty glass was

Humans

Lick

Too...."

Killer stopped and grinned.

"The end."

"What?!?" We all yelled. "That can't be it! So the thing licking the mans hand was....ewwwwwww gross!"

Killer smirked at all of us. "Hope you enjoyed my story." He said.

I was vaguely aware of the others talking as I looked over at the boarded up window and sighed. Then I noticed something.

"It's not raining anymore." I muttered. Everyone silenced and looked at me before straining to hear the sound of rain on our roof,

but when we failed to hear anything we all looked at each other and smiled before teleporting away for some fresh air.

I teleported to a random street and started strolling down, pulling my hood over my head as I walked.

The smell of damp grass and stone filled my non existent nose and I smiled, happy to be out of that cramped house.

I was just about to walk down an alleyway when I heard people arguing round the next bend.

Being the curious creature that I am I went to investigate. I peeped round the corner to see a gang of at least fifteen people surrounding what I assumed was another person.

I was about to continue walking when I hear whoever they had cornered call for help.

I froze.

I recognised that voice.

INK!

----------------------------------------------

I was out at a pier today looking at the waves, when suddenly the biggest wave imaginable came crashing toward me and soaked me to the bone. And I have no spare clothes

I have been traveling on a train today.

So this chapter was written on a train by me whilst soaking wet!
