Leo's POV

The only person I trust enough to talk to is Travis. Nico is still way far down the untrustable list, and the rest of Camp even farther.

I'm still trying to wrap the thought of being half god around my head.

If I was half god, you would think I'd have a better life, right?

Apparently, that's not how it works.

Travis has been telling me about the Giant War with Gaea, the Seven - which Nico was actually in, the "great" Percy Jackson and all his adventures, Chiron, camp activities, how I'm not the only one with a sucky background.

I internally scoffed at that, I highly doubt anyone has a worse childhood than me. 

"Hey, Leo right?" I turned around to see the blonde that was talking to Piper and Nico before. I nodded mutely, not opening any conversations. Yet, the blonde pushed on.

"Sooo, I wanted to apologize for my behavior you saw before, that was very unacceptable of me, and I felt bad. I hope that we can start over and create a brand new beginning. Is that alright with you?" I stared at her as those words spewed out of her mouth. I didn't really like her, sounded to stuck up and smart.

I shrugged, hoping that she would just go away if I didn't respond.

But no, of course, fate said that I couldn't have anything good happen in my life, and the annoying blonde sat down beside me.

For heaven's sake, can I not just eat in peace?

Nico's POV

Everyone could see that Leo was getting annoyed by Annabeth, however, Annabeth ignored his looks and decided to try to befriend him.

I don't think she was getting anywhere.

The bell rang again, signaling the end of lunch, and Leo looked so relieved to be out of Annabeth's clutches. He followed the Hermes group since he was undetermined. 

I sighed, why couldn't I get Leo out of my head?
