Nico's POV

The new camper was interesting.

He had caramel mocha skin, with suspicion filled chocolate eyes that sparkled with tiny gold flecks. He was cute, that was for sure.

It's not secret that I am gay, in fact, half the camp is homosexual. No one is judged for it, especially not me.

Once the new kid fell asleep in my arms, I quickly kissed him on the forehead. I stood up, with him in my arms and walked to the infirmary. Behind me, I could hear Piper squeal and say something about how she ships it.

Oh Piper, you just gotta love that girl.

I called Will over and placed the new camper on one of the many beds. He jogged over and inspected the new camper.

"New camper?"

"Yeah."

"So that's why I haven't seen him before... Why is he at camp so late, though? He is for sure at least fifteen or sixteen." Will starts checking him up, making sure everything is alright. I give him one shouldered shrug.

"I dunno, don't ask me. He hadn't told anyone his name either. He also seemed really tired and parched, drank a bunch of water that Percy summoned."

Will "hmm"d, burrowing his eyebrows.

"He hasn't eaten a proper meal in about two months. Hasn't drunk anything in a couple days. That's really bad for his health, did anything weird happen when you were at the Big House?"

I shrugged off-handedly, recalling the events that happened.

"He collapsed and was choking a lot, practically spasming. But once he drank water, most of it went away and he fell asleep."

Will nodded, "ah, that's probably just the results of malnutrition, not too concerning, as long as he starts to take care of himself better... wait a second..."

I turned towards him, eyebrows raised, "what is it? what's wrong?"

"No. Fucking. Way."

"What is it?? Tell me."

Will slowly turned towards me with shocked eyes, "he was a bullet... inside of him."
