Melody seemed to have recovered and stood over the unconscious Reaper. Nightmare..oh sorry Nootmare cleared his throat. "We should get going..." He said looking around. "I know a place out of the city we could go to. It should have normal people." Melody nodded as they jumped into the truck again. Crystal had remained in the truck looked confused. "Where is Reaper?" She asked. "He was infected..." Nootmare said.A herd of cows suddenly run past them leaving everyone to stare at the dust they kicked up. "That was..." Blue started. "Random..." Dust finished.

Melody remained quiet as she sat down next to her Mom. Later they found themselves at a small town where music is playing. Melody stepped out and looked around confused. "I think this place is infected..." Nootmare said. "Just ignore it..." Sci said looking at the bag. "We have the cure after all." Everyone else nodded.

Nobody pov

Suddenly a skeleton girl appeared behind Nootmare. "YEEAAH JUST A TYPICAL DAY!" Nootmare jumped into Dreams arms. "WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK?!" He said. "That's got me feeling in a beautiful way!" Dream dropped Nootmare with a sweat drop. "No rhyme or reason we could sing a duet!" She sang spinning next to Sci who was clearly flustered.

She spun to Melody and twirled her around "Dance a style or two, Or I'll make you a bet!" Melody was than pushed into Dust who caught her with a what the fuck face. "Just a smile will do~" She said getting too close to Nootmare. "No thanks..." He said sweat dropping. "Sometimes I just wanna shout on top of roof's and mountain tops. ALL the world is paved in gold." She turned away from the group of confused cops with a smile. She spun on her heel to face them again with her glowing yellow eyelights. "Lets just get into the truck and-" The door for the truck closed because someone was waiting for him to say that, It was a white bunny monster.

"Dammnit.." Everyone said. "Yesterday was retroactive. Got myself a new perspective I strutted up and down the road~" Dream leaned to Nightmare. "What did you say about this town being safe?" He whispered. "So I throw out my worries and my old skin away! doing what I want to on this Laa Dee Dah Dah Day!"

A group of monsters and humans surrounded them. "LAA DEE DAH DAH DAY!" Nootmare found an opening in the crowd and gestured to it before running to it when the skeleton monster appeared in front of him. "JESUS!" He said falling back. "Laa Dee Dah Dah Laa Dee Dah Dah Day!" "LAA DEE DAH DAH DAY! LAA DEE DAH DAH LAA DEE DAH DAH DAY!"

Dream grabbed Nootmare and Dust who was the only one who wasn't too surprised to do anything. Dust snapped his fingers and our heroes were teleported somewhere safer or so they thought. "That better just be a flash mob..." Crystal said. "Spare change for the homeless?" A male voice behind her said. Crystal looked and saw Jerry holding a cup and looking up at her. "Sorry I don't have anything..." She said. "Hey chick...that's cool." He said walking out of the alley and turning to them. "Don't tell me we're gonna hear Jerry singing..." Melody muttered.

"Cause I may not have a home!" "Oh my God..." Crystal said burying her face in her hands. "But that's way okay! Because I prefer to roam...On the streets all day!" They slowly backed away from the repulsive creature and his repulsive singing. "The world is my house~ The dogs my food!" They stared at him disgusted. Jerry grabbed a trash bag. "Oh look a new blouse! And a new trash can too!" He grabbed Melody's hand and put her at a dip before dropping the poor girl. Nootmare helped her up glaring at the...whatever the fuck Jerry is... "I used to want to kill them all while high on bath salt zombie drugs and snacking on a dead man's face!"Nootmare leaned to Sci. "Remind me to arrest him when I get the chance." He whispered to Dream. Who nodded in agreement.

"But that feels just like yesterday, This song takes all the pain away, My politics and house feels changed!" Nootmare clutched the bag of the negative fruit while backing away with everyone else. "Dancing on the concrete used to hurt a lot, But now I got new feet AND THIS JAM'S TOO HOT!" They didn't notice the crowd behind them until..."LAA DEE DAH DAH DAY!" "RUN!" Nootmare said pushing everyone out and using his Tendrils to yeet Jerry away from them.

"LAA DEE DAH DAH LAA DEE DAH DAH DAY." They managed to escape the alley but there was another crowd. "LAA DEE DAH DAH DAY! LAA DEE DAH DAH LAA DEE DAH DAH DAY!" "YOUR KIDDING ME!" Blue said clearly frustrated. "There's so much positivity here that they decided to sing about it...perfect..." Note the sarcasm.

The bunny girl appeared next to Melody causing her to shriek and jump into Nootmare's arms. "DO YOU WANNA SAVE THE PLANET?!" Once again they surrounded the group. "OF COURSE YOU WANT TO SAVE THE PLANET!" Melody buried her face in Nootmare's chest clearly scared. Nootmare clutched her tightly. The Bunny girl twirled Dream around. "DO YOU WANNA SAVE THE PLANET?!"

Nootmare yanked the now dizzy Dream away from the singing rabbit. "Well there's just one way you can do it!" He grabbed everyone else. "By singing a song (Singing a song) Singing along (Singing a song, Along)" Nootmare backed away waiting to get his energy back from all that running. (I am not fucking doing the part that..WHATEVER...This song is taking too long!)

"LAA DEE DAH DAH LAA DEE DAH DAH DAY, LAA DEE DAH DAH DAY!" Nootmare let out a low growl as his cyan eye flashed yellow again. He set Melody down and wrapped an arm around her shoulder while clutching his head with his other hand. "Nightmare?" She asked. "LAA DEE DAH DAH LAA DEE DAH DAH DAY, LAA DEE DAH DAH DAY, AWAY!" Nootmare felt his energy return. "LAA DEE DAH DAAAH-" Nightmare suddenly teleported before the bunny could finish. "DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!"

Ace watched all this happen. "Well...that escalated quickly..." He said. "We hope you enjoyed this chapter!"

They all collapsed in a coffee shop that seemed normal. Everybody looked at the cops in confusion before getting back to their drinks. "That...was terrifying..." Melody said. Nootmare agreed, The headache he had was gone but not his humiliation of almost getting caught by a fucking flash mob. He looked around and spotted the Barista. "CCINO(It is literally spelled like that don't judge me!)!" He called out.

A skeleton looked up from the coffee he was brewing in confusion before there was recognition in his white sockets. "Nightmare?" He said setting down his drink. Nightmare texted Ccino about Nootmare's existence and needless to say they were best friends. He ran over. "You look like hell..." He said. Nootmare nodded. "Listen it isn't safe here we need to-" He felt the positivity in the coffee Ccino was brewing and looked down. "What's that?" Ccino looked at the coffee in his hand. "Gold fruit coffee...Dunno where it came from but some of the employees love it." He said.

"Did you drink it?" Nootmare asked. 'Nightmare ya know that I prefer a good old fashioned cappuccino." Ccino said shrugging. "Anything weird happen when they drank it?" Nootmare asked worried. "Well-" The door opened and a skeleton girl, A female Dog and a female Cat walked in.

"Get your cup of roasted coffee, Your morning cup of Joey. We'll make a jamming cup of java mocha latte with the froth for you Jack." Nootmare stared. "The female employees have been doing this all morning. Kinda annoying..." Ccino finished. "Frappuccino with freshly roasted mung beans. It's a caramel drizzled mud in a cup." Nootmare sweat dropped as all the attention was on these three girls. "With a Drip, Drip, Drip, Drip, Drip. And we'll bring it right up!" Skeleton walked over to Nootmare. "Hey mister Business how do you do?" She sang leaning on Nootmare's shoulder. Sadly Nootmare didn't see the fuming Melody behind him...And he pushed the skeleton away. "Can we get a triple for you?" Nightmare tried to speak up "No thank y-"

"DECAF!" "Whaaaat?" "DECAF!" "Whaaat?" Nootmare stared in disbelief. "Doo Doo Doo Doo Doo Doo Doo and we'll bring it right up. OY OY OY!" The dog ran to serve the customers "And we'll bring it~ And we'll bring it~" "Right Right Riiiggght and we'll bring it right up!" Ccino interrupted. "Okay this is ridiculous." He said. " If this is what your gonna do all day...than I quit!" The skeleton and the Bunny smirked at him. "You can't quit Ccino..." They said simultaneously. "Yes I can Eris and you can't stop me." The skeleton now known as Eris teleported in front of the door. "It's easy to learn the song Ccino. We can teach you. Everyone here will be singing it too~" They both said. Ccino froze and he ran over when he realized why Nootmare was so concerned as some of the people clutched their heads in pain. "What's wrong with the coffee..." He asked looking at it...Nothing seemed to be wrong. "What the-"

The dog ran out of the room as both the Bunny and the Skeleton's eyes turned gold. "Get your cup of poisoned coffee, Your cup of toxic joey." Nootmare grabbed Ccino's arm while everyone else walked to the entrance. "We'll make a twisted cup of java mocha late with the goo for you Jack, Jack, Jack." They clapped every time they said Jack. Ccino yelped as Nootmare dragged him to the door. "Hey mister business, How do you,How do you dooooo."

"THEY'RE SINGING. WHY ARE THEY ALL SINGING?!" Ccino asked as they ran out. "Run guys. NOBODY LOOK BACK!" Nootmare said. "We've Got a double for youuuu~" "Hey mister business, And we'll bring it right up!"

"WHERE'S THE TRUCK?!" Crystal shrieked when she saw a bunch of people surrounding them. Suddenly there was the sound of screeching tires and the truck screeched to a halt in front of them. The door opened to reveal someone who looked like Nightmare. "Get in!" He said. Everyone piled in and saw Error and Lust with Pj. "ThAnKs FoR lEaViNg Us In HeRe." Error snapped glaring. "Sorry Error..." Nootmare said chuckling nervously. The Truck sped away quickly causing everyone in the back to slam into each other. "It was lucky that Lune got to us in time or we would have been a part of that flash mob."

Nootmare looked at the driver, He wore a purple hoodie, black pants, and tennis shoes with a crescent moon design...But that wasn't what got his attention...It was the gold crown on his head with a crescent moon carved into it. "Nightmare?" Dream asked staring at the driver. The Driver turned his head and Nootmare was met with purple sockets.

Ace whistled. "Sounds like Nootmare met his match...literally." He chuckled. "Well that is actually the end of the chapter.
