Nightmare was just returning to work when he walked into a woman with long black hair wearing a mail uniform, she didn't seem fazed by him walking into her despite the fact that she was smaller, it was like walking into a brick wall. "Are you Nightmare?" the girl asked. Nightmare nodded, confused until she handed him an envelope. "This is your mail." she said before walking away. Nightmare looked at it.

"Soilight, 16-17...That's a strange return address..." He said before opening it. "Nightmare Moonlight will be summoned on top of Nightmare...okay?" He said. He heard someone screaming above him. The poor guy didn't have time to move before a girl fell on top of him. She had purple skin and short purple hair, She wore all dark purple and had wings. She looked at Nightmare who groaned under him and hugged him. "I'm so sorry brother!" She said. "W-What?! Who are you?! I never seen you before in my life!"

A portal opened behind him and a skeleton who looked almost like him peeked out. "There you are!" he said, he wore a dark purple tunic,black pants, black boots, and a golden crown with a moon symbol, behind him was a large tree with golden and black apples.

"Nightmare?! But who is this?" The girl said looking down at a very confused Nightmare. "My name is Nightmare...now please get off..." Nightmare said. The other Nightmare just sighed. "Nightmare Moonlight this is another au which you just teleported to. Let's just go." He said. Nightmare Moonlight nodded and jumped off Nightmare and into a portal. Nightmare sat up confused. "What...just...happened?" He muttered looking at the cursed envelope.

Hours later Error was at his computer glaring at the handcuffs that attached him to Ink. "So how are we gonna do this?" Ink asked, "Dude I need both my hands." Error snapped looking at the computer when he noticed the red head walking past them. "HEY MELODY HOW ARE YOU WITH COMPUTERS?" Ink screamed/asked causing Error to almost go deaf. The girl looked over to them. "Did you two lose your keys or something?" she asked raising a brow. "N-No these aren't ours, smartass." Error said clearly flustered. "Melody I just asked how you were with computers..." Ink said while looking away from Melody and Error. "I suck ass with hacking if that's what you're asking." she replied. "Try asking my sister."

"Who is she?" Error asked, Melody looked at him as if he grew another head. "Nightshade." She said walking away. Said hybrid walked over, "Move your nonexistent asses." she said as Error and Ink moved. "The kinks people have..." she muttered as her fingers moved on the keyboard as fast as Error's does when he is hacking. "Done." she said standing up. "And it looks like we have our next bus stop." Fell looked up from his computer. "I appreciate a lady with fast hands~" Nightshade turned to him and shot him. "DUDE!" Error and Ink said at the same time as Fell slumped forward on his desk.

"What? It's a tranquilizer gun." she said sticking it back into her blazer pocket and walking away. Nightmare walked over and looked at Fell before shaking his head. "I just had the weirdest day." he said sitting at his desk. "We have to be off in an hour." Error said looking at his screen, Nightmare looked over at them. "Did you forget your handcuff keys?" he asked raising a bone brow.

"NO!" they both said at the same time while blushing. Nightmare shrugged, "Whatever." he said as he cleaned his gun. Melody walked over to him and held out a hand to Nightmare. "Hi I'm Melody, I understand we never had the privilege of talking to each other. Nightmare right?" Nightmare took her hand and shook it while nodding. "Nightshade told me a bit about you. You'r an artist/musician right?" He said trying to start small talk.

Melody giggled. "Kinda, they're just hobbies. Plus the musician one is pretty useful for the undercover thing." She said rubbing the back of her head. Nightmare nodded while Ink and Error looked at each other with smirks, it's pretty obvious that Nightmare had a crush, they were so shipping this like Fed Ex. "Welp, better prepare since Dream told me that I'm playing a huge part in this case." Nightmare stood up putting his coat on. "What part?" He asked raising a brow. "Bait..." she said with a smirk.

Later they were at the bus stop, hiding in an unmarked van close by. There were 3 blondes and Melody wasn't anywhere to be seen. "Where is she?" Nightmare asked Dream who smirked. "Look who's concerned." he said with a sly look in his sockets. Nightmare looked at him confused. "She's an agent. Of course I would be worried." Dream chuckled looking back to the bus stop. "Don't worry. She's there, I saw her disguise." he said.

A black van pulled up and several men came out of it wielding guns. "Get in the car!" One said as two of the girls started freaking out. The other was simply walked up to him and Nightmare recognized the necklace around her neck. She started using ASL to say something to the guy. The guy pointed to her but before he could point to the van she grabbed his arm and flipped him over her shoulder her hair turning to red as she did.

"IT'S A COP!" One yelled as Nightmare leaped out of the van and started running, wielding his Glock 19M and aiming it at the goons. "HANDS UP THIS IS THE NCI!" He yelled as Dream joined him. "AND DCI! GET ON THE GROUND!" Dream finished. The guy that Melody put to the ground suddenly grabbed her and put his rifle to her chin. "DROP IT OR LITTLE RED GETS A BULLET TO HER PRETTY FACE!" He said.

Melody suddenly vanished and there was a gun shot. Nightshade was apparently standing behind him with her pistol aimed at his head. "Never...EVER...touch my sister." The man collapsed with the bullet through his head all of his gore spraying onto his comrades and Nightmare. "Jesus." Nightmare muttered wiping the blood off his skull. Suddenly the rest of the goons were glowing red and thrown to the ground as Fell walked over. "Nice one. Where is the bait?" He asked. Melody came back dragging one more guy and shoving him with his comrades. "Please save me!" The guy begged Nightmare who looked down at him with disgust. "This chick is insane! She tried to kill me!"

"Suck it up you Ass~" She sang with a creepy smirk on her face causing the guy to whimper. "Looks like we got the crooks. And from the way it sounds Blue got the girls who were about to be shipped." Dream said putting his phone in his pocket. "Lets get these scumbags to prison." Nightmare said.

Later...

"WHOO!" Ink said running around. "WE SOLVED THE CASE NOW WE AREN'T STUCK ANYMORE!" He sang. Geno walked out of the janitors closet without the ears and tail and with a relieved smile. "Thank god it's over- Fresh are you okay?" Geno asked looking at Fresh who was at his desk with his face in his arms. "No...My curse is coming soon." Fresh said his voice muffled. "Oh..." Everybody said. "18 G says that Chaser doesn't get caught till tomorrow." Error said. Ink smirked at Error. "You're on."

Blueberry strolled down the hall, talking with Melody, who was complimenting his dress. Error saw what Blueberry was wearing and shook his head. "I don't wanna know, normally he has better taste in dresses than that." He remarked casually. Nightshade was passing by and heard Error's comment. Turning to look at Blueberry, she looked at Error in confusion. "Wait, are you saying that he's a crossdresser?" Error and Ink nodded, "Yeah, he sometimes shows up wearing a dress or skirt. I think it's just him doing it to fuck with us, and I know he does it when the victim he's helping is a kid, he puts on the whole routine to make them laugh." Error said sagely. Nightshade smirked and asked, "So basically, he's the mascot of DCI?"

Ink nodded happily. "Yep!... wait, what were we talking about again?" Error did a spit take and facepalmed. "Fucking hell, he forgot his medication again." Cross tapped Error on the shoulder which made the poor guy spaz out for a couple moments. Once he got the worst of the glitching under control, he glared at Cross. "WhAt ThE fUcK dO yOu WaNt, AsShOlE!" he roared, still glitching. Cross held out Ink's medication wordlessly. Error glared and grabbed the bottle. "Fuck it, we're going home. See ya tomorrow, Nightshade." Nightshade waved halfheartedly and said in a monotone, "Night."

All around the room, everyone was packing up. Dust was grabbing his and Blueberry's bags, still blushing bright purple, with some blood running out of his nose when he looked at his boyfriend. Fell was eating a sandwich with one hand while using his other to text his brother that he was on his way. Fresh and Geno were walking out together, with Geno playing driver that night. Nightmare and Dream had already left, talking about movie night. Reaper was dragging Horror out, from the looks of it, Horror had tried to smuggle out a body again. Classic was chatting with Sci, who was trying out science puns on his cousin. Melody waltzed up to her sister with a grin on her face. "Ready to go home, sis?" she asked happily. Nightshade nodded curtly and turned on her heel. Melody shrugged her bag over her shoulder and yelled, "HEY, WAIT UP!"

This case has been solved. But the girls are about to learn that not every case has a happy ending. What will happen to our favorite crime-fighters now? Stay Tuned!
