5 | PLANNED. HACKED. MURDERED.
The windowless room of thundercloud grey was awkward and still, stuck in that lull when the music first starts and neither stranger is sure how to begin the dance. Taehyung and Jennie sat across the table, a laptop placed in front of them. A few police officers surrounded them, as Jennie played the play button.

The candles hung along with the chandelier illuminating the hall. The violin started playing, drowning everyone within its own sweet melody. The glasses clicked against each other as the waiters carried champagne bottles from one corner to another.
David Manoban stood in the centre, talking to a man who looked in his sixties. Everyone looked the same in a typical manner, black tuxes, light-coloured gowns and brown hair. The camera zoomed into the Altar which outshined every other decoration. Even though the noises were faded out, the sounds of the flashing cameras were eminent.
...
The camera turned to focus on one of the tables which were stuffed with alcohol bottles and glasses and surrounded by guests who laughed hysterically but then it zoomed onto something that was shining. A silver pocket knife.
Before anything else could happen, a slender hand appeared in the frame, picking the blade and the only thing visible was their nail polish. It was blue in colour.
END OF VIDEOTAPE
Jennie sighed loudly as the videotape finished. Taehyung had a look on his face that said, "I am really frustrated." Half of the police officers were still in their position and suddenly Jennie had the urge to walk out of the room.
"We wasted twenty minutes watching a video that turned out to be completely useless," an officer who had blonde hair said and he seemed like one of the few policemen who knew how to speak English.
Taehyung snickered, "Not completely useless. The last thirty seconds are somehow useful."
Jennie nodded, setting the video to the minute when the person picked up the pocket knife, "A person is picking up a pocket knife and if we check Lisa's autopsy, she was killed with the help of a blade, as well as being poisoned."
Someone whispered the Spanish translation in the back as Taehyung spoke, "It's a female, from what I am guessing. Such a slender hand, nail polish and no sleeve dress. Almost every men there was wearing a tuxedo or a blue shirt."
"Mr Darren, please take a screen capture and try to find whose hand matches the picture," Taehyung said, exiting the first video as the second one popped out. "The second one might be helpful. It is the CCTV recording of the first floor. It is facing the bathroom, but not the rooms," a policeman with curly brown hair told them.

The first floor was completely empty. Decorated in a lavish style, there was clearly no one to appreciate its beauty. The railings had huge pink bows tied to them and that floor was probably the only space that wasn't raided by the paparazzi. A few waiters moved here and there, carrying bottles of wine and some snacks but no one walked towards the right— where Lisa's room was.
For an hour, nothing happened but in the last three minutes, finally, some figures appeared. Jisoo emerged in the hallway, holding the hem of her light blue dress as she walked towards the Manoban's room. And within the next thirty seconds, Lalisa Manoban had appeared in the corridor, holding her stomach as she walked inside the bathroom.
And then the CCTV blacked out.
END OF FOOTAGE
Jennie wanted to throw the laptop all of a sudden. Taehyung who was sitting leaning towards the laptop, couldn't believe that they were this close to finding the killer and when they could have seen the person who entered the bathroom, the camera blacked out.
"This was so well planned," Jennie said in a daze, "This wasn't something which was planned a few days ago but I am sure this was being planned for months."
"You're completely right Jennie. Mangling into a CCTV camera which is so modernised isn't something that can be done on the day itself. It needs a bit of hard work and we know that well. We have encountered many cases like that," Taehyung said.
A lady entered the room, grabbing everyone's attention. She had long red hair with green eyes and was wearing the same police uniform. She carried a small paper in her hand, "Mr and Ms Kim, the Manobans want to meet you."
Jennie looked at Taehyung, confused. They couldn't be asking them about the case's progress, especially when they knew they both were already spending day and nights on it. Taehyung nodded subtly before looking at one of the police officers, "Mr Alcaraz, kindly mail all these recordings to us. We would check each one of them."

Meanwhile, the Manobans sat in the hotel's royal lobby, Jisoo sitting on one of the chairs, checking her nail polish. The Lees were not really conversing with them and were sitting in their personal rooms. Ireshi Manoban sighed for the tenth time, "Aran, why you have asked all of us to assemble here?"
Loosening his tie, Aran spoke in a calm tone, "I wanted to have a family discussion."
Ireshi Manoban looked at Jisoo who was now listening carefully, "Since when is Jisoo a part of our family?" Aran looked at her perplexed, "Mom, Jisoo knows everything about our family. She was Lisa's best friend."
The woman in her early fifties snickered quietly but the son ignored her, finally mentioning the topic. "We need to go back to Korea. We cannot stay here any longer. Our stocks are going down."
Ireshi's resting face soon changed into a shocked and annoyed one, looking at her son as if he was a demon. "Your sister has been murdered Aran and all you care about is your stocks?" David Manoban who was sitting silent kept a hand on Aran's shoulder, "Aran is right Ireshi. Our clients are waiting and the stocks are falling down day by day. We need to go back to our company, which is in Korea and not in Spain."
"Aran, can't we just wait for the case to be solved first?" Jisoo whispered while he faked a laugh, "Cases take years to be solved Jisoo. Do you want us to be homeless?"
Before anyone else could say a word, David Manoban took his phone out. "I am calling Jennie and Taehyung. They need to solve the rest of the case in Korea."
