"I-I-I can e-explain," Ishan stuttered looking at Shubman.

"Aree what is there to explain beta? It's okay, nobody minds and it's your age to have crush and boyfriend and after 2-3 years marrying your boyfriend. It's alright," Mrs Sharma said.

"Ofcourse that's alright," Shubman smiled staring at Ishan.

"I feel sorry for Ishan," Mr Sharma whispered lowly.

"No you don't," Mayank retorted.

"Yes I actually don't," He gave a smug smile to his son.

"Mumma I am full and dad is also done. So we would be going," Mayank said pulling his dad with him.

"Okay, I am also pretty much done. Do you want anything boys?" She hummed.

"No I think I am also done," Ishan muttered getting up.

"Me as well. Thank you for the breakfast aunty," Shubman smiled at her.

She smiled back getting all the plates from the table. Ishan helped her.

"You don't have to beta, I can do it."

"No I want to," Ishan grinned while chucking the remaining things.

Shubman took everything from Ishan's hand and went to put it in the kitchen.

"I can pick up my own dishes," Ishan scoffed.

Shubman ignored him.

"Shubi you can't be sad over this thing," Ishan said pulling Shubman out of the kitchen.

"And what if I am?"

" It was just a small crush thing I developed during ipl but it was a long time ago. How can you be sad over this?"

"I don't know but I am mad at you. Do you seriously had to like Mayank?"

"I mean true but ouch,"

Shubman and Ishan turned to see Mayank standing behind them.

"I wasn't intending to make you look bad. You are a great guy but I-I just..." Shubman trailed off not knowing how to form the sentence.

"You just don't want Ishan to like any other guy I can understand." Mayank nodded his head.

"Wait, I don't understand. Why can't I like any guy?" Ishan asked.

"Oh jesus, I would rather prefer to watch Dora the explorer with my grand niece." Mr Sharma said walking out of the kitchen.

"Dad eavesdropping is an offense," Mayank deadpanned.

"I was not eavesdropping. It's my home. So i was just walking and perhaps happened to hear your convos, which was not at all intentional" Mr Sharma grinned.

"Dad you should seriously need to get out of here," Mayank said pushing his dad out of the hallway.

"Oh you should also not have interrupted in the first place. Just because you came in between their argument, it didn't turned into a heated confession and they did not sealed the deal with the kiss."

"Dad what the heck are you watching istg? These dramas has taken a toll on you,"

"It's not true. My dramas are actually correct. I can even prove it to you,"

"Sure enlighten me then,"

"Just wait and watch." His dad smirked going back to Ishan and Shubman.

"No don't," Mayank said slapping his head.

"Shubman beta," Mr Sharma said while giving a lopsided grin to them.

"Yeah uncle?" Shubman asked.

"I can understand beta that you are mad at Ishan because he didn't told you he likes Mayank even though you both are bestfriends."

"I don't like him. I just used to have a tiny crush. It was seriously not at all strong or something," Ishan quickly shook his head.

"Aree what is there to hide beta? I am sure Shubman would understand."

"But I don't like Mayank. I mean I do but only as a friend. I don't have any feelings for him,"

"Why are you so nervous? It's okay. You act like a boyfriend who just got caught by their lover for having an affair," Mr Sharma snickered.

"No its not like that, I was j-just—"

"Chill, I was kidding." Mr Sharma chuckled patting his back.

"No you are right uncle. He is acting like a boyfriend who just got caught by their lover. And that's why I am mad at him. He cheated on me," Shubman huffed.

"I never cheated on you,"

"Yes you did. You came to Mayank instead of me yesterday. I kept on telling you to go with me but no you still had to go meet your family. Now also you are staying with him instead of me,"

"It's not my fault. I just wanted to..."

As they both continued to argue Mr Sharma scurried away in confusion.

"What happened my love guru?" Mayank snickered.

"They both were supposed to go shy and be in denial that they are not acting like a couple. How come they started acting like a married couple?" Mr Sharma sighed.

"That's why I tell you to stop interfering in other's business,"

"Oh I was doing that especially for you."

"How come making them both realise is going to affect me?"

"It is. It's going to help you in two ways. One Ishan will no more be Shubman's bestfriend as they gonna be a couple, so only you will be his sole bestie. Second you can finally hit on your crush as Shubman will be already taken."

"Shut up," Mayank said his cheeks turning pink.

"Kyu? Sara ka sara pyaar sirf bestfriend ke liye."
[Why? All the love only for your bestfriend?]

"Daaad" Mayank whined going away.

Mr Sharma chuckled following him to his room. He will definitely not leave this chance. After all it's the first time when Mayank didn't denied about his crush. It means he finally accepted his feelings for Sara soon to be Markande.

"What? Did we do anything wrong beta? Are you not liking being here?" Mrs Sharma asked.

Currently she was baking some brownies for them when Ishan and Shubman came to kitchen telling her Shubman is taking Ishan to his own home.

"No I really liked being here. Infact it's my favourite home. You have been treating me really well Maa, just like you own son." Ishan mumbled taking her hands.

"Aish your hands will get dirty," She said quickly pulling away her hands and cleaning Ishan's hand with her apron.

"I am sorry aunty but for the interview tomorrow we have to,"

"But Ishan is not ready to give any interview. You didn't saw his condition yesterday. I don't want the media to again bully him there,"

"Nothing like that will happen. This interview is being taken so that the trollings could be stopped and everyone could know the truth. I was talking with Rohit bhaiya at night? He asked me himself of I am comfortableif not he can change the dates but I told him not to. Trust me I will be fine." Ishan explained.

"No no, whenever you say trust me everything is going to be fine then something bad happens. Aree suno jii Mayank ke papa, jaldi se neeche aao dekho ye kya bol rhe hai," Mrs Sharma shouted so her husband could come downstairs.

"Shubman is taking Ishan to his own house,"

Mr Sharma smirked looking at Mayank.

"I swear don't think anything dirty," Mayank whisper yelled.

"I haven't even said anything yet," His dad shrugged looking back at them.

"Uhm so it's okay. Ishan is Shubman's friend as well, I can understand he wants to take care of him personally."

"But he can do that after a few days as well. I want him to stay atleast with us atleast for a few days," Mrs Sharma pouted.

"I-I can come back to you after the interview. I will then stay with you for as long time as you want to," Ishan said.

"But you still can't go. I have washed all your clothes which were in your suitcase and they haven't dried off yet,"

"He can wear my clothes. I have a lot of clothes which I can share with him,"

"Bu—"

"Aree it's okay mumma, let him go. Ishan himself promised he will come back tomorrow evening."

"No, atl–" Shubman objected.

"Tomorrow evening," Mayank said cutting him off.

"He is my friend as well. I can keep him for a little but longer,"

"Woah woah, I am the person in question so I will decide when to come. And don't worry maa I will be back so soon that you will not even know when I went." Ishan sais hugging her. .

"Fine fine, but what about the brownies  I was making for you?"

"Who said I am going right now? I am going only after eating those brownies." Ishan grinned.

"I will make them fastly. Just wait for half an hour more. You guys can play something till then," She replied while ushering everyone out of the kitchen.

"Sarank is still a good name for boy," Mayank's dad said out of the blue when they were sitting down on the couch.

Perhaps continuing the conversation the son and dad duo were having upstairs.

"Argh not again," Mayank screwed his eyes shut.

Why couldn't he have a normal dad?
