Ishan was sleeping soundly inside his room, quite opposite to what everyone else were thinking.

Shubman was bewildered but before he could pounce on Ishan, Rishabh pulled him back.

"Don't be angry" He said.

"How is he here? And why did he not informed anyone before coming. Are we all idiots for worrying huh?"  Shubman retorted.

"Shubi call Rohit bhai first" Hardik said and Shubman nodded his head. Rohit bhaiya told him to call when he get in his room.

As per Rohit bhai's order nobody said anything to Ishan till they come back.

Ishan did woke up at some point hearing the commotion.

Seeing every member huddled up in his room, Ishan asked what happened.

"You know even though Shubman is the youngest member of the team, why is it you doing the childish things everytime?" Hardik asked.

"You could have atleast informed before going. We all were so worried." Shubman had said before Ishan was apologizing.

"Rohit and Virat bhai were looking for you all over the stadium. You are definitely going to get a beating when they will come." Rishabh said. 

Just the exact moment Rohit had entered the room with Virat walking behind him.

"This guy" Rishabh had retorted before jumping onto Ishan.

Virat quickly held him back before Rohit could do anything.

"Have you lost your brain? You are bloody 25 years old, don't you know how to be responsible? " Rohit glared at him.

"I am sorry bhai"

"Do hell with your sorry. Do you even know how much we all were worried  about you? Is this some kind of a joke for you? After the match we all wanted to relax but no we all were looking for you like fools while you were sleeping here." Rohit spat. The captain was really angry right now.

"I-i-i" Ishan stuttered not being able to form sentences, he felt his throat coggled as tears started forming in his eyes.

"Ishan you know Shardul was literally apologizing for not asking you where were you going at that time. It's not even his fault still he was feeling guilty all along." Virat said from beside.

"Yeah and all those security guard who were ready to hit the bed after a long duty in stadium but had to run upto places just to find where were you." Rohit continued glaring at him.

"Me and Virat were stupidly searching for you. We had to look upto all those cctv cameras fretting our ass off just to get a call from the staff telling you already came to the hotel a long time ago."

"Please forgive me, it will not happen again." Ishan sniffled.

"Better not,  because if it happens again I am not going to hold myself back." Rohit hummed. 

" You all should also get in your rooms and change into comfortable clothes. I want everyone to the buffet table in half an hour." Virat said and everyone started dispersing out.

"Stop crying, bhai was angry only because he was very anxious about you." Virat muttered pulling Ishan towards him.

"I am really sorry. I didn't meant to make anyone worried." Ishan spoke in between sobs and hide his face in Virat's shoulder.

"It's okay Ishan, we were worried because we care for you. Don't take the scolding to your heart bacha." Rohit said petting his head.

"I-I know. I know how much you all care for me but I again did a silly thing. I wanted to call Shubi when I was going back to hotel but my phone's battery died. I was just too overwhelmed to think of anything else. I am really sorry I was not thinking anything. I just wanted to get away and because of it you all had to suffer." Ishan sobbed.

"Why? Did something happened Ishan? Where were you?" Rohit asked and Ishan didn't responded. 

"Ishu you know naa you can tell us everything." Virat spoke.

"I-I know."

"Then if something is bothering you, you can tell us that too." Virat said and felt Ishan nodding his head.

"You all can just come inside instead of crowding in the corridor." Rohit deadpanned suddenly and all the team members came back inside the room while smiling sheepishly. 

"We just wanted to make sure if Ishan is okay" Rishabh fumbled.

Ishan finally lifted his head from Virat's shoulder and looked at everyone crowding his room once again.

"You can tell all of us anything you want to Ishu, we will never judge." Shreyas said and everyone hummed. Shubman took Ishan's hand and gave it a light squeeze.

That's when Ishan looked at him.

"It's really nothing. I just had a rough time." Ishan spoke.

"It doesn't look like nothing." Surya deadpanned.

"Who did you went to meet when you got the call?" Shubman asked and Ishan looked down at their fingers slightly intertwined. 

"Aditi" He whispered but it was loud enough for Rohit, Shubman and Virat to hear.

(A/n- I wanted to write these dialogues in english but they were just not having the real feel you know so I ended up writing in hindi...I can translate the sentences which you all couldn't understand so just comment below the line which you couldn't understand okay?)

"Ye ldki ka chakkar, uff aadhi team toh ye ishqbaazi mein hi bigad gyi hai. Mann toh krta hai sabki taange todkr unke haath mein dedu." Rohit huffed.

"Relax panda, let Ishan finish first" Virat said.

Everyone looked at Ishan again making him nervous. He hid his face back in Virat's shoulder.

"Stop hovering above him. What happened Ishan did Aditi said no to your proposal?" Shubman said pushing everyone a bit away from the bed.

"It's okay bacha if she said no. It happens, we all are here for you." Virat said petting his hair. Ishan slightly shook his head.

"Ishu beta ese dukhi nahi hote, tu bole toh abhi sabka breakup krwa dunga. Fir sab ek saath single rhenge." Rohit chuckled.

"Maine toh abhi hi shaadi kri thi, bach gya" Hardik smirked.

"Aur saath mein divorce bhi kra dunga sabka. Koi mingle nii rahega. Ishan bas tu han kr, sab players single ho jaayenge" Rohit snorted.

"Ae panda sabse pehle tera divorce krwayenge phir." Virat muttered. 

"Acha kara ke dikha" Rohit squinted his eyes and Virat did the same.

"Bhai please not now, Ishan is still crying." Shubman said now clasping his hands together with Ishan, trying to do anything to give him comfort.

Rohit sighed, looks like the jokes are not working as well.

"Ishan bacha ese ldki ke liye itna nii rote. Halat dekh apni pura chehra laal padd gya hai." Rohit said.

"It's not that, I never proposed Aditi." Ishan let out between sobs.

"Phir? What happened Ishu? Please tell bacha we all are getting scared now." Virat said now cradling Ishan slowly.

"You all will h-hate me" Ishan hiccuped.

"We promise nobody will hate you. Bta na Ishu, ab tu kya apne Rohit bhai se baatein chupayega?" Rohit asked.

"Its not that bhai" Ishan shook his head quickly.

"Phir bta na kya hua, humse nii dekhi jaa rhi teri ye halat." Rohit said and Ishan felt bad. He looked around seeing everyone staring at him with sad eyes.

"Sabke samne nii btana?" Virat asked when he saw Ishan staring at them.

He slowly shook his head.

"Sab bahar niklo aur han agar ab koi mujhe bahar corridor mein dikha toh kal practice session ke time btaunga. Jao jakar kapde badlo aur dinner kro fatafat." Rohit said in a stern voice.

Everyone quickly scurried away and nobody dared to eavesdrop now. No matter how much worried they were, they can ask about it later on. They can't risk tomorrow's session.

"Can I stay atleast? " Shubman asked his voice cracking a bit in the end.

Ishan looked down and slowly left Shubman's hand which he was holding onto all along. His gesture was enough to break Shubman's heart.

Rohit and Virat looked at them before Rohit patted Shubman's back.

"Shubi tu mere aur Rohit ke kamre mein jaakr change krle phir aaram se khaana khaakr aaja. Jab tak tu aayega hum sab dekh lenge." Virat said and Shubman nodded his head.

When Shubman left the room to Virat and Rohit stared at Ishan who was sniffling softly.

"Please don't hate me" He murmured in a small voice.

"Bacha tujhe kabhi hate kar sakte hai kya? Hum sab tujhse itna zyada pyaar karte hai ki hate toh bilkul hi nahi krenge." Virat said and Ishan bit his lip.

"Lag jaayegi mat kar" Rohit said looking at his lower lip which was on the verge of bleeding. Ishan let go off his lip.

"Please tell beta, now nobody is here."

"Abhi nahi " Ishan said.

"Phir kab?"

"Agle chapter mein, abhi iss chapter ka word count complete hogya" Ishan said.

"Koi nahi Ishu. Ae author ye chapter end kar aur jldi se next chapter likh." Rohit retorted.
