Ultrasounds:

The next morning, Hayley and Klaus were sitting on a sofa together.

Klaus held onto her hand gently as she panicked over the plan.

"What if he doesn't like the surprise?"

Klaus retorted back, "I can just dagger him."

Hayley sighed and replied, "Klaus, we really need to talk about you daggering your siblings soon."

If there was any subject she had to talk about with Klaus, it had to be him daggering his siblings.

Before she could go on a mind rant on that, Elijah came into the room.

Seeing as Hayley wasn't to greet his brother, Klaus beckoned for Elijah to sit on the chair in front of them.

The chair that had a box on the table, that was separating the occupants in the room, in front of it.

Elijah looked at the pair in front of his with concealed narrowed eyes but still sat waiting for them to tell him the reason for this meeting.

Hayley took a deep breath after Klaus squeezed her hand in reassurance and looked up to meet Elijah's encouraging gaze, no doubt seeing her distressed state.

"Me and Klaus found something out last night and we wanted to tell you since we believe you can be trusted."

Elijah could hear the underlying words in this statement.

Don't break that trust for you won't gain it back.

Klaus continued after Hayley, "Open the box, brother."

Elijah carefully peeled the wrapper off of the present in front of him and then took the lid off of the box.

His shock was shown through his widened eyes and jaw hanging slightly as he stared at whatever was in the box.

Hayley's nerves rocketed through the roof due to Elijah's silence.

He broke it by raggedly whispering, still not taking his eyes off of the box as he was scared that it'd disappear if he took his eyes away, "Niklaus. What is the meaning of this?"

Klaus looked unbothered by his brothers reaction and replied, "Why dear brother, it is only the news that me and Hayley had figured out last night."

The same news had made Klaus cry with joy as he hugged Hayley and stay by her side throughout the night as he laid down on her bed with his ear to her stomach, listening to the strong heartbeat of their daughter.

Elijah took the objects out of the box and let out a teary chuckle as he stared at the words on the black t-shirt for him.

And then beam with pride at the next two clothing items in the box.

He was going to be an uncle to a baby girl.

Elijah left his seat to kneel in front of Hayley and silently ask her with his eyes as his hand patiently hovered over her stomach.

Hayley nodded and then Elijah placed his hand gently over her bump, still in awe that there was his niece in there.

"The shirt was wrong." he stated, still staring at Hayley's stomach.

The pair on the sofa looked at Elijah in confusion.

Elijah looked up at the pair before elaborating, "There will be no rules for dating because she will not be dating at all."

Klaus laughed with joy as his brother was on his side for future debates on his daughter's dating life whereas Hayley on raised an eyebrow at his with challenge in her eyes as she was ready to argue for her daughter's dating life.

Frowning, Elijah remembered Hayley's distress from before and inquired carefully, "If you do not mind me asking Hayley, why was it you were in a state of distress when I entered the room?"

Hayley stiffened for as she realised that Elijah had noticed.

Still holding Klaus's hands she answered, "I was worried you wouldn't be happy that the baby was going to be a girl. I mean, you guys used to be Vikings and from what I know, daughters were frowned upon for being the first born child of the family."

Elijah was quick to deny Hayley's claims, "Hayley, whether your child is male or female, it matters less to us. We are all still in awe that there is a child to begin with. But without a doubt all any of us wish for the child, my niece, is for her to be healthy."

Hayley smiled at Elijah with teary eyes and then attacked him into a hug.

Time Skip:

Hating a fictional character and hating that fictional character who is living and breathing in front of you are very different things.

Agnes was someone Hayley wanted to gone when she watched The Originals.

And now with werewolf emotions and protectiveness, the urge had never been stronger.

Hayley sat on the couch, flipping through a book about wolves and how their habits when the females are pregnant.

She let out a low growl as Agnes mentioned her going to a doctor again.

"I feel great, Agnes. Go home." Her eyes didn't leave the page as she heard Rebekah stifle a laugh.

"You are overdue for a check-up." Agnes persisted.

"What do you expect me to do? Pop into the Quarter for a quick ultrasound? A pregnant werewolf escorted by a witch? Nothing to see here!"

Rebekah interrupted giving Hayley a small glare, "A lot of women would kill to have a child. It strikes me odd that you're not taking better care of yours."

Oh she did not just go there.

Hayley kept her golden eyed glare on Rebekah as she closed the book, placed it on her side and stood up.

She began to talk as she walked to Rebekah, "If you don't want to be here Rebekah, then just leave. I do not need a babysitter and, as I was there, Klaus had told you to leave and do your own thing while he and Elijah continue their plan to get the city back. You can whine, bitch and rage about staying but the last time I checked you are an 1000 year old woman who was the first vampire to ever have been made and nobody is forcing you to stay here. I can take care of myself and I have done so for a very long time."

Hayley was standing in front of Rebekah now.

Her features becoming more wolfish as she glared down at the blonde vampire.

"But if you ever insinuate that I do not care for my child, I will stake you and dump your body in the swamp while burning your fancy clothes."

Rebekah looked at the she-wolf in front of her and was about to show her what happened to those who angered her but remembered what happened the night when she heard the warning Klaus had given her four weeks ago.

A.N. In chapter Originals in NO when Hayley went upstairs

Klaus stared down at Rebekah with a sugar coated smile as he spoke, 'Hayley and our cub is the only thing that matters to me right now, Rebekah. I'll forget that little stunt you pulled in the morning seeing as you were unaware of that fact.'

The smile dropped and his eyes turned into a dark golden glare, 'But if you dare try to harm Hayley or make her uncomfortable while you stay in New Orleans, being my sister will not stop you from going unpunished. And I'm not talking about daggering you, Rebekah.'

Klaus turned to leave the room but he stopped not turning to see Rebekah's expression, 'This will be your only warning. Next time, I rip your heart out and send it to your lover, Marcel.'

Then he left the room, not looking at Rebekah's shocked and fearful expression.

Rebekah took a deep breath and was about to leave the room when Agnes interrupted.

"I know a doctor out in the Bayou, off the beaten path."

No, no, no, no!

Did Hayley forget to mention no?!

Agnes continued, oblivious to Hayley's inner turmoil, "Now, I took the liberty of making an appointment for you. Tonight, after-hours, just us. Vampires will never get word of it."

Hayley turned to Rebekah and whispered low enough that Agnes wouldn't hear. "I don't trust her."

Hayley was hoping to have Rebekah on her side.

Despite them getting off to a rocky start, she did want a strong relationship with Rebekah.

"I don't trust her either," Rebekah whispered back, hoping this would give her the opening she needed to gain Hayley's trust to stay on her brothers good side.

She was in front of Hayley now and demanded," Go with the witch, text me when you get to the doctor and I'll meet you there."

At Hayley's narrowed eyes and suspicious face, she added, "I have to talk with Nik first."

Hayley nodded some of her suspicion dying down at hearing Rebekah tell her that she'll be informing Klaus.

"Okay, fine. Bayou-baby-doctor it is." Hayley said to Agnes, gesturing for the witch to lead the way.

Time Skip:

"This is the doctor's office?" Hayley commented as she looked at the sketchy place.

Agnes smiled as if she didn't just lure the pregnant she-wolf into a trap.

"Dr Paige is only this far out because Marcel's men kept terrorizing her patients. Go ahead! She won't bite!"

Hayley got out of the car, pulling out her phone as she walked toward the clinic.

She sent a message to Rebekah as she walked in.

'At the clinic. Where r u? Agnes is giving off 'going to kill me' vibes.'

Later, Dr Paige stood above Hayley, giving her an ultrasound.

The pair turned to look at the screen showing them the baby.

The doctor smiled at her as Hayley was too caught up in awe at seeing her baby on the screen.

"Your baby's heart rate is perfect."

Hayley's eyes glazed over as a wave of deja vu washed over her.

A nurse was holding her hand as they stared at the screen while the doctor was holding a white medical device scanner over the cold gel on her stomach.

The doctor smiled at her, telling her, "You have a strong baby, Miss Michaels. Congratulations."

"yley? Hayley?"

Hayley snapped out of her memory haze as she looked at Dr Paige looking at her in worry.

She shook her head to wave of the doctors concerns with 'werewolf pregnancy hormones.'

Hayley turned back to the screen and despite the situation she was stuck in, she smiled and asked without hesitation towards Dr Paige, "Can I have a picture of the ultrasound please?".

Dr Paige looked stunned momentarily before nodding and leaving the room to head to the printer but not before handing me a tissue to wipe the ultrasound gel off of her abdomen.

Hayley instantly got to work, grabbing the syringe from a drawer and filling it with the chloroform liquid that was meant for her and placing it in the waistband of her trousers before filling another one with water and placing it in the drawer to make it seem nothing was out of place.

When Dr Paige returned, Hayley was sat on the chair, looking the image of innocence.

Dr Paige, oblivious to the fate she'll be having soon, smiled at the she-wolf showed her the ultrasound pictures before saying she'll put them in an envelope to ensure that it wouldn't get damaged.

Hook.

How coincidental that the envelope was in the same drawer as the syringe.

Hayley stifled her chuckles as she watched as Dr Paige had 'discreetly' taken the syringe out and placed it into her pocket.

'Accidentally', she let her sweater slip down to her arms as she turned to face the window giving Dr Paige the sight of her crescent mark.

"That's a unique birthmark." Dr Paige remarked.

Line.

Hayley smirked as Dr Paige had fell into her trap.

Putting her sweater back on, she turned to the doctor and asked, "We're done here, right?"

Before Dr Paige could reply, Hayley looked down at my phone as it buzzed, a simple text : 'send me your location.'

She sent it to Rebekah easily, placing the phone in her pocket and the envelope in her bra before turning to leave through the door.

"Wait! Your blood pressure is high. I've got something for it."

Sinker.

Hayley smirked as she closed the door and locked it ensuring the men who would be coming soon couldn't enter.

Her eyes flashed gold and her spine straightened as she heard a wolf howl.

Turning around Hayley smiled at Dr Paige, which prompted the doctor to reach into her pocket warily.

"Hayley?" her voice waivered as Hayley could smell the fear coming off of the doctor.

The she-wolf frowned sympathetically at the doctor as she said, "I did like you Dr Paige. You are kind and gentle. But you are on the wrong side of this war. And as long as you are on the wrong side, you are a threat not only to me but my child as well."

Hayley's arm shot out in time to catch Dr Paige's arm as she lunged at her with the syringe.

She snapped it before slamming the heel of her shoe into Dr Paige's foot.

The doctor let out a pained cry but was quickly silenced as Hayley stabbed the syringe into the doctor's neck, causing her to pass out onto the floor.

Hayley placed the doctor gently onto the examining table.

Seeing the light shown by headlights of cars, Hayley closed the light of the room and waited until she heard all the men come inside before leaving through the window.

She used the time advantage to move quickly through the woods to head to the cabin where Klaus would soon be.

After a few minutes, the men who raided the clinic started to look for her in the woods.

They passed her a few times, not seeing that she was hiding behind a tree.

When one of the men came up from behind her, she elbowed the him in the stomach before knocking him to the ground.

A second man came from the side so she grabbed a thick branch and smacked it across his head causing him to lose consciousness.

When a third lunged toward her, She grabbed his shotgun and knocked him to the ground, and beat him in the head with the butt of the gun.

Her eyes flashed gold as she looked around for the other one.

A large man tried to attack Hayley, but before she could react, his neck was snapped from behind by Rebekah.

"Have to say, I'm impressed," Rebekah said.

"You're late." she deadpanned, not impressed by the blonde's tardiness especially with her supernatural speed.

"Apologies. I found my brother and he wanted to talk." Rebekah informed her before more men with flashlights in the distance heading toward the pair, "Who are they?"

"Witches. Warlocks. I don't know.."

"Run!" Rebekah shouted.

Hayley didn't make it very far before she heard Rebekah fall to the ground.

But she kept running until she was hit in the shoulder with an arrow.

She cried out at the sharp pain before everything went black.

Time Skip:

Hayley opened her eyes to be found being woken up to a wolf nudging her.

She glared at him flashing her eyes golden as she placed her hand against her stomach.

The wolf whines backing up and bowing his head.

Hayley would be lying if she said she didn't find satisfaction at seeing that.

When she stood up slowly, she noticed the other wolves surrounding them.

They were also bowing their heads except for one who seemed to be glaring defiantly at her.

She raised her eyebrow at him before growling at him making him lower his head reluctantly.

Hayley addressed them saying, "I promise, all of you won't be like this anymore. But until then I have to leave. I will be back though,"

Yes, she hated how the pack treated Hayley in the original timeline but she couldn't just leave them cursed.

She then walked off to head into the direction in where she could hear Klaus and Rebekah arguing over what had happened.

The she-wolf winced from her supernatural hearing as she heard the wolves howl at her departure.

The Mikaelson siblings snapped their head towards her.

Klaus was in front of her in a second pulling her into his arms as he burrowed his nose into her neck, nuzzling into the she-wolf to both provide her a feeling of safety and him the comfort of knowing she was safe in his arms once again.

He let go of her, remembering her wincing, but still kept his hands on her arms as he looked her over for injuries.

"What happened, Little Wolf?" he growled as his wolf wanted nothing more than to slaughter those who dared to attack his pregnant mate.

"I don't... I can't remember." she frowned, looking up at him.

Hayley stayed still as Klaus examined her for any wounds. "You've completely healed. There's not a scratch on you."

He was most likely talking to himself if his confused tone was anything to go by.

But Hayley only leaned into his touch and replied, "Werewolf." to remind him of her supernatural healing.

He shook his head, "No, werewolves don't heal that fast."

"It's the baby," Rebekah said after a few moments. "The vampire blood- Klaus' vampire blood- in your system. It can heal any wound."

Klaus turned and stared at her incredulously. "Your own child healed you."

Rebekah shifted her focus back to Hayley and asked gently after seeing Hayley's reaction to the wolves howling, "How did you escape, Hayley? You were outnumbered and unarmed? When I went to find you, those men were ripped to shreds."

Hayley replied back quietly as she fought against sleep, "The wolves surrounded me when I woke up. Sabine said they were drawn to me. I think they're trying to protect me."

"The witches were supposed to protect you! When I get my hands on Sophie Deveraux-" Klaus started angrily.

"As much as I would love for you to kill her, It wasn't Sophie. It was Agnes." Hayley cut him off to remind him of the true evil witch.

"Fine! Agnes, Sophie, it's all the same to me! I'll slaughter the lot of them!" He replied back.

"Not if Elijah gets there first." Rebekah told him.

"Where was Elijah today?" Hayley asked her as she tried to remember what he told her in the morning.

"He went to a meeting with some priest before saying he had to talk with some witch with Nik." She informed Hayley as she tried to keep out the disdain she felt, towards her brothers for keeping her out of their plans, out of her voice.

Hayley smiled at the answer glad that Elijah and Klaus had gotten been strengthening their alliances with Father Kieran and Davina.

She turned to Klaus and asked, "Hey, so... can we go home now? I'd really like to sleep for a few days..."

When she tried to walk, her knees buckled and she stumbled to almost collapse onto the floor but Klaus was by her side instantly and caught her before carrying her away bridal style.

"Ooh, I've got you, love. I've got you."

Despite the situation they were in, Klaus' mind wandered into a world in where they were newly weds and they were to enter their new home.

Hayley only nuzzled into his chest and inhaled his scent.

He smelled like home.

Time Skip:

Hayley could hear voices shouting around her and groaned as she sat up on whatever she was lying on.

She saw Klaus and Elijah who turned to her as if they were children caught with their hands in the cookie jar.

Hayley raised her eyebrow at them.

Klaus came by her side, "Hayley, Love. Shall I carry you upstairs so you can rest more easier?"

Hayley waved her hand. "I have to show you guys something but first how did it go with Father Kieran and Davina Claire?"

Elijah sat on the arm chair opposite the couple and replied, "Father Kieran only wishes to find the murderer of his nephew and me to compel his niece to safety away once war is our last option and as for Davina Claire.." he trailed off looking at Niklaus.

"Davina Claire is no longer blindly devoted to Marcellus as we showed her how he's been using her and she will be unlinking you from Sophie in 3 weeks as she needs time to understand and learn the spell from Mother's grimoire."

Hayley nodded, glad that Davina Claire was on their side.

Davina Claire was someone she wanted to protect.

She was a child whose family betrayed her.

Had been lied to her entire life.

She had went through incredible trauma.

Her death itself was literal torture thanks to the ancestors, and then she came back to be isolated and used again, more trauma. Finding some love and support through her friendship with Josh and then Kol and lost both.

And then was thrust into a leadership position with zero training or support and a community that didn't trust her.

If Freya and Elijah dared to attempt what they did to Davina in this timeline, she'll sacrifice them to the ancestors.

"Fuck the Ancestors," Hayley said, not realising she said it out loud until Klaus and Elijah turned to her with astonished yet confused faces.

Hayley elaborated, "Have you heard of The Harvest?"

"Davina Claire has already informed us something had happened to her but has yet not mentioned what had actually happened."

"I can give you only what I know from the history I've read and what I've heard and seen."

At Klaus' concerned face, she quickly interjected, "Being linked to Sophie has given me access to her mind. Not that she's aware of this."

Klaus nodded, accepting the answer.

Hayley took a deep breath before beginning, "The Harvest ritual needs the participation of four young girls who meet the ancestor's demand. They will be sacrificed to the ancestors where the power of every witch killed will go to the other until they are all killed. After a year the girls will be resurrected as a reward and the ancestors will give them more power for three hundred years, then the ritual will be started again. The thing is, the witches that were to be sacrificed didn't know that they were to be killed, the four girls found out in the ritual when they watched their friends being slaughtered, but their families had known all along."

The Mikaelsons eyes widened as they realised where this was going.

"Sophie Deveraux, whose niece was one of the Harvest witches, tried to stop them, but was stopped." She took a deep breath before continuing. "Father Kieran O'Connell tipped off Marcel in hope that he would save the girls. He arrived before they killed the last Harvest girl, Davina Claire. He saved her and is using her to know when a witch is using magic through her connection to the ancestors. She is the last one and has the power of all four, if they don't sacrifice her then ..."

"They can't get their power or the girls back." Klaus and Elijah finished in unison.

"Which is why Jane-Anne Deveraux was willing to go to such lengths to secure our help." Klaus murmured.

"Her daughter's life is on the line," Elijah concluded. "And the witches are helping her to return their power."

"Marcel was using this Davina as a weapon against the witches." Klaus continued with a dark growl.

Hayley shook her head, "I agree with that but Marcel does care about Davina. But sometimes, he cares more about New Orleans."

The occupants in the room went quiet at that but Hayley remembered to ask, "Where is Rebekah?"

Klaus growled at her name, "Davina had informed us that out sister has been entangled with Marcel once again, so she's probably gone to inform him of your survival from the attack Agnes had led on you."

Hayley nodded, not that she was surprised though.

I mean she preferred TVD Rebekah over TO Rebekah.

TVD Rebekah was a breath of fresh air but TO Rebekah was simping for Marcel like no other day whereas he would always choose the city over her.

Elijah interrupted to erase the dampened mood, "Hayley you said earlier you wished to show us something?"

Hayley smiled as she remembered.

She placed her hands into her bra ignoring Elijah who turned his head away to give her privacy and Klaus who's eyes darkened as he let out a growl at the sight.

Hayley took out an envelope and turned to Klaus first with a smile.

She handed him the envelope and watched with anticipation as he opened it.

Klaus' eyes widened in shock at what he was holding in his hands.

The envelope fell to the floor as he stared at the images in is hands in awe.

He swallowed looking up at Hayley and asked, "Is that... Is she?"

Hayley nodded before saying, "Yes, Klaus that's our daughter."

Klaus looked back down at the ultrasound as he let out a disbelieving laugh.

He turned to Elijah who was waiting patiently but Klaus could see he was anxious to see what his brother was looking at.

Klaus beckoned him over to show him the ultrasound.

"Isn't she perfect brother?"

Elijah was stuck in awe as he alternated between looking at Hayley's stomach and the ultrasound.

"When was this taken?" he whispered.

"Today at the doctor's appointment Agnes set up."

Elijahs laugh was full of joy and he couldn't help himself from picking up Hayley and spinning her around.

Elijah turned to his brother and engulfed him into a hug, once he let go of Hayley.

Unknown to the trio, a two pairs of brown eyes (Hazel and Dark)  stared at the ultrasound with hope for their family for once.

A.N Hayley is at 7-8 weeks now

2 weeks in meeting

2 weeks and 3 days in visions

2 weeks and 4 days in planning

3 weeks in three originals in NO

5 weeks in it's a girl

7 weeks in ultrasounds

10 weeks in the next chapter

Also I will use every chapter I can to rant about the injustice that has happened to all of these characters.
