"There you are," Klaus said upon seeing his older brother enter the dining room. "Finally."
Elijah stripped off his coat and hung it up before heading toward the table.
"I was delayed."
"Our guest of honor will be here momentarily," Klaus said.
"Strange, our house is conspicuously absent of our lupine guests. I do hope it wasn't on my account."
"I had Isabel send her husband and sister off to spend the day with their werewolf brethren to test the limits of their new abilities. Leaving me to deal with family business with no intruders."
"I'm to assume she's still here then?"
"Just spending time with our children until we get started." The hybrid answered simply.
"Niklaus, Rebekah's situation has taken a turn." Elijah stated, sounding a bit suspicious. "We may need Freya's assistance. So, whatever you are planning here? Don't."
"Oh but that's what Isabel has stayed to do. She made it quite clear to not harm our sister. So as you both want me to, I will be hearing her out."
"And you yourself said that would be idiocy." Elijah retorted.
"Did I?" Klaus asked looking amused as he feigned as though he's straining to remember when he said that. "Well, it does sound like me."
"Of course it does Nik." Isabel muttered as she entered the dining room.
"Regardless, on the off-chance Freya has some information that could protect my daughter, I'd prefer she share it on my terms." He pointed toward his ear. "Ah! I think I hear her now!"
He turned to the door just as Freya walked into the dining room, smiling at her brothers. She faced Isabel and she could only assume this was the mother of her niece.
"Nice to finally meet you Freya." Isabel tried to be polite and gave the girl a small smile. "I'm Isabel."
"Likewise." The witch responded.
"Well come on in!" Klaus told her. "Make yourself comfortable."
Freya looked slightly nervous, but smiled warmly at them anyway.

Rebekah had been aware that Andrew and Davina who had grown fond of her brother and were nonstop looking for a way to bring him back which had them staying cooped up inside the playhouse. And that was where Rebekah showed up to get Davinas help with her vessel. The first thing she noticed was the tired looks settled on the two supernaturals faces as they shuffled through various books and loose pages of spells and magical notes.
"Are you serious? We're supposed to drop all of our work to help you figure out your nightmares?" Davina asked feeling a little aggravated.
"Look, they're more than dreams. I came here hoping you'd have some witchy way to figure out what's wrong and help me fix it." Rebekah looked the two over seeing they seemed tired and depressed. "Though you don't look too good yourselves. Have you gotten any sleep lately?"
"No we haven't Bex." Andrew wildly gestured around at all of the magical books and supplies. "We've been here, studying all this stuff since Kol died, and I had thought that you were going to help us bring him back."
"You guys really care for my brother to be this holed up?"
Andrew sighed as he remembered when Kol had taken a break to take him and Davina to get pizza, the biggest thing he liked about Kol was the way he joked and teased, it reminded him so much of his long gone older sister. "He was like our family. Our brother. And I don't give up on them easily. He was a good man. And I will not stop helping Davina search for a way to bring him back even if I have to go sleep deprived for a while."
"Look, I can't help you guys bring back Kol if the witch he stuck me in ends up taking me over." She told them softly as guilt filled her eyes. The two of them obviously cared about her older brother and showed it better then her own family save for Isabel who for a week only came out of her room to tend to her children and drink blood and if she happened to be pulled away she was extremely irritable. And the only thing that got her to stop moping was that Klaus went back to acting up again and she had to help her pack. "There's something wrong. I think the rightful owner of this body is waking up inside me, and she's angry."
Davina sighed in frustration, but eventually warmed up to Rebekah and gestured to the books in front of her again.
"These are Kol's spell books. I'm sure there's something in here that can help."
"And be hasty with it." Andrew muttered wrapping an arm around Davinas waist and kissing the side of her head to ease the tension in her body.
Rebekah, looking slightly reassured, smiled at the couple, who weakly smiled back.

Freya held a small round artifact in her hands and examined it carefully. "This witch-hoop, it's Danish. Is this from when you all lived in Copenhagen in the 1500s?"
"Quite the eye!" Elijah told her.
"Forgive me- are we here to discuss family heirlooms, or do we have more pressing concerns?" Klaus asked impatiently.
"Please excuse my brother's lack of decorum. He's been in a foul mood of late. But, he is right. I did ask you here in the hopes that you would share some of Dahlia's secrets. So, without further ado, let's get to it."
"And I should apologize for both my parabatai's lack of patients." Isabel added in. She felt bad for the girl because she seemed to actually want to know them and be with them.
With that the four of them took their seats at the table, which had been filled of breakfast food.
Freya cleared her throat awkwardly before she began to speak. "The first thing you should know is that Dahlia is the most powerful witch I've ever seen. She craves more power still. Right now she is like me- limited to one year of life in a century. But, she wants to be free of that restriction. To gain true immortality. And that is why she will come here- drawn by your daughter to take the child's power for herself. And she would kill anyone who would defy her."
"And yet you would defy her?" Klaus asked skeptically.
"I don't have a choice. She will never let me be free. My one chance is to align with you and kill her."
Elijah looked troubled by this revelation, but Klaus didn't seem convinced. "Well, now that we're all suitably motivated, let's talk specifics!"
Freya took in a deep breath before saying, "For you to understand, I need to start from the beginning."
[Flashback in italics]
A five-year-old Freya stood outside the cottage with Dahlia, who created a magic circle out of what looked like black sand or ash and used it to draw Runic symbols within the circle that appeared to be modified versions of the alphabet runes "algiz," "kaunaz," "gebu," "teiwaz," and "laguz." Around them, Dahlia set up tall torches whose flames are quite large and are arranged in the form of a pentagram.
"After taking me from my family, Dahlia used me to forge a new brand of connective magic, one that augmented my power even as it allowed her to draw from me."
"Take my hand and begin your chants." Dahlia ordered young Freya.
"Med dette seglet, cum saluta nobis saman. Med dette seglet, cum saluta nobis saman." The two chanted as they held hands.
The torches' flames flared brightly as they increased in size. Young Freya gasped in surprise and awe, while Dahlia's head rolled backward as she felt the surge in power from drawing on the girl. Once it passed, Dahlia looked down at Freya, who still held her hands tightly and looking a her curiously. Dahlia smiled, obviously pleased by the outcome of the spell before looking around, humming for Freya.
"Once we were bonded, Dahlia became unstoppable."
Dahlia smiled as she proudly stroked Freya's cheek with her hand.
"She wasted no time proving her might."
Dahlia and young Freya walked hand-in-hand through a snowy field in the middle of the day in a different part of the village. The bodies of at least a dozen people, scattered across the land.
"The chief of a nearby village threatened to run us off, accusing Dahlia of witchcraft. She decided to make an example out of the entire encampment- men, women, children." Freyas face morphed into one of sadness. "She killed them all with a wave of her hand. That was my first inkling of the power Dahlia had. Over the course of a thousand years, she's only grown stronger." The dirty blonde turned toward Klaus and Isabel. "And she will bring all her power to bear against you when she comes for your child."
The two looked terrified by the revelation. The thought of Hope being taken forever was to scary to comprehend. Before anyone could say anything Elijah's phone started to ring. Elijah looked to see who it was only to see Rebekah's name pop up, he immediately turned to Klaus, Isabel, and Freya.
"Excuse me." Elijah excused himself before stepping out into the hall and answered the call.
Noticing the way Isabel tensed up, Klaus took her smaller hand in his and gave it a reassuring squeeze and small smile before dropping her hand.
≪≫•≪≫•≪≫
The large amount of food on the table stayed the exact same as none of the occupants in the room made a move to eat.
"Your stories are fascinating," Klaus told his sister in mock kindness. "And Dahlia does indeed sound dreadful, but Elijah and I have killed our fair share of evil witches."
Freya shook her head adamantly. "Not like her."
"So what are her weaknesses?" Isabel asked after sipping some of her tea to calm her stomach which felt slightly off. "If we are to fight this that may be important information."
"She's paranoid. Obsessed with power. She hungers constantly for what's been denied her, be it love, or revenge."
"Yes, I believe I'm familiar with the type." Elijah confessed, glancing at Klaus and giving him a knowing look, but Klaus just smirked.
"When I was a child, she would tell me tales of her own youth, being victimized by those stronger than her. Dahlia vowed never to be weak again. She bargained for the firstborn of Esther's bloodline, intending to raise us in her own image, forming a coven of her own from which she could draw endless power. That plan was foiled the day she learned that Esther had ended her bloodline by turning her children into vampires." Freya looked at Klaus, who looked as though he had something to say, but she didn't let him. "And so the burden fell to me. Dahlia demanded that I bear the firstborn that would add to her power, but, I would not allow a child of mine to live as I did- as a slave." The girls blue almost grey eyes filled with tears. "So, I vowed never to love. Never to have a child of my own."
She started to cry which caused Elijah and Isabel to look troubled, feeling bad for her.
"Of course, the more I resisted, the harder Dahlia fought to control me."
Dahlia set up another magic circle onto the floor of their cottage with salt, complete with more Runic alphabet symbols around the inside. She hummed as she placed various herbs inside the circle while the full-grown Freya watched fearfully.
"'Til the day that she took the last of what little freedom I had left."
Dahlia makes a spiral in the earth covered floor of the cottage inside the magic circle with her finger before waving her hands over it. After a moment, she gasped and her eyes rolled back as she felt the spell successfully complete itself. Afterward, she stood to her feet and held out her hand toward Freya.
"Take my hand," Dahlia said with a smile.
Freya stayed where she was and looked at Dahlia in fright as she shook her head and backed away from her in fear.
"No." She refused. "This is not right. You've already taken everything from me! I will not follow you into this madness!"
Dahlia's smile turned cold and sinister at the refusal. "Don't be stupid. I'm offering you eternal life. We will sleep for a century and wake with a power unlike any that's ever been seen! It's what we wanted!"
"It's what you wanted!" Freya yelled furiously. Dahlia's smile finally fell as she began to lose her patience. "Please, do not bind me with this curse!" Freya yelled out as she cried.
Dahlia lowered her hand, looking saddened by this reaction, and for a moment it looked as though Dahlia had relented. But in a quick movement, Dahlia had roughly grabbed Freya's hands and pulled her into the circle despite her protests.
"Ungrateful child! You will thank me for this, in one century or the next." She promised before she started to chant. "Magi somn et immortalis, binde oss."
"And so we slept, our magic accruing over time."
For a moment the witch flashed back to right after the spell was cast, where both she and Dahlia each laid in their own bed, side by side.
"Until we woke, filled with immense power and allowed to live a single year of life. That has been the existence I've suffered for the last ten centuries."
Isabel's eyes softened and she let out a soft barely audible, "oh."
But Klaus began to laugh fakely causing Freya to shoot him a glare. "Well, that's quite the ordeal, isn't it? But, it does beg the question- why not end it yourself?" Isabel rolled her eyes at her parabatai while Elijah shook his head in disgust at Klaus' words. "A high enough bridge, a tight enough noose? You must have considered it."
Freya closed her eyes and sighed in frustration before she continued. "Long ago, I did consider it. But, Dahlia would never give me even that freedom." Klaus seemed surprised by the answer, and almost looked guilty for what he had said. "I would later learn that the spell made me like her- immortal and impervious to harm." She laughed bitterly and wiped the tears from her face. "So, you see, I am like you: a creature of great power, cursed for all time."

"It was this witch, Eva!" Rebekah told Isabel, Klaus and Elijah. "The nocturnal cow is inside of me trying to bust her way out!"
Elijah looked at Klaus expectantly. "Freya is waiting downstairs. Perhaps we shou-"
"Have you lost your mind? Tell me we're not considering opening our sister's head to someone we barely know!"
"Nik, for God's sake, she is our sister!" Rebekah argued. "I've known her since she saved me from the Fauline Cottage."
"An act no doubt meant to secure your trust!" Klaus claimed. "Perhaps for this very moment, to strike when we are vulnerable!" Rebekah scowled at Klaus, but he shook his head. "No, we've no way of knowing that anything she said today is true."
"Nik, I understand your concern." Isabel started off softly. "Right now we are all powerless to help Bekah. But we can't just leave her to suffer. I think we should take a chance on Freya."
Klaus looked appalled at her taking his siblings side but he knew he shouldn't have been surprised. The girl had a mind of her own and didn't mind going against his wishes if she deemed it necessary.
"I agree with Isabella," Elijah told his brother. "We should give the benefit of the doubt to family."
≪≫•≪≫•≪≫
Elijah walked Freya to the upstairs living room, where Rebekah, Isabel, and Klaus were waiting for her. Once the witch saw her little sister she quickly made way toward her. "Rebekah!" She smiled as Rebekah stood up and grabbed her hands and squeezed them affectionately. "It's good to see you again."
"And you! Although I'd prefer better circumstances." Rebekah admitted.
The two sat next to Isabel on the couch while Elijah stood off to the side. Klaus on the other hand sat in the corner with a drink, his back turned to them, obviously pouting due to being overruled by Elijah.
"You needn't worry," Freya told her softly. "Elijah explained the problem, and I can help."
"Rather confident, aren't we?" Klaus muttered loudly.
Freya turned to look at him, partly amused and partly confused, but when Klaus decided to not even acknowledge her, she just scoffed and turned back to Rebekah.
"The spirit of the host body is powerful, but I can cast a spell." Freya assured her sister as she brushed Rebekah's cheek with her hand. "Put you in a deep sleep, and then suppress this other essence. You'll be just fine."
"Lovely," Rebekah said, her tone showing how nervous she felt. "When do we start?"
Klaus groaned at his little sisters easy acceptance. "Oh, you've got to be kidding me. She spouts off some magical diagnosis, and we are all supposed to applaud?"
Isabels eyes went from the two witches to her most stubborn and paranoid parabatai. "Nik, she's trying to help us! A little less hesitance from you would be greatly appreciated."
Klaus stood to his feet and walked toward them. "Yes she's helping us." He admitted. "But for the sake of keeping our options open." His blue eyes then went to Freya. "Why not write down your spells and incantations, that way we can have them double-checked by an impartial third party? Say, Davina? She'd love to prove me wrong and please Bel."
Freya looked at the hybrid feeling slightly offended. "I doubt she'd be able to understand my magic, let alone have the power to execute it."
"Oh, so you're my only hope, then? Seems rather convenient, doesn't it?" Klaus asked trying to prove a point that no one wanted to listen to because after spending time with him they knew how paranoid he could be.
Rebekah looked appalled at Klaus' attitude and rolled her eyes dramatically, but Freya looked both hurt and betrayed. "I knew it would be difficult to earn your trust, Niklaus. Your reputation precedes you." Klaus smiled mockingly at her as she stood and walked toward him. "But, if we are to face Dahlia together, you will have to trust me. Given the peril that Rebekah now faces, are you truly incapable of giving me even a chance to prove myself?" Klaus only rolled his eyes and turned back toward the bar instead of giving a verbal answer, so Freya turned to address Elijah and Rebekah instead. "I know I appear as an outsider, but I have dreamt of you all for a thousand years."
Rebekah and Elijah look at each other before turning back to Freya intrigued. "Elijah- when you were in Esther's womb, she would ask me to sing to you. I would feel her belly as I did." She laughed at the memory from so long ago. "How you would kick. She would say it was as if Thor himself had raised his hammer-"
"-And summoned thunder and lightning." Elijah finished for her. They smiled at each other, and everyone in the room could see how fond Elijah felt of the memory. "Mother rarely mentioned you, but when she did, she would say how enchanted you were with the prospect of my birth."
"How I wanted more brothers. And sisters-" Freya looked over at Rebekah and Isabel, who both smiled at her affectionately. "-more than anything." Klaus continued to stew in his corner, upset to be left out. "But between Esther and Dahlia, that wish was taken from me. I was ruined by those who raised me. If nothing else, at least we have that in common." She looked over at Klaus, who continued scowling silently across the room, before turning back to Elijah. "There is nothing that can replace what was taken from us. But, I hope we can make something better in its place. All you have to do is trust me."
Before anyone can say anything, Klaus vamp-sped over to her and broke her neck.
Rebekah who had tried to intervene the minute she saw Nik run yelled at him furiously. "Nik!"
"God damn it Nik." Isabel growled as she stood up and crossed her arms.
"Well, that's enough of that, don't you think?" Klaus asked them, a smirk set on his face. He proceeded to carelessly drop her body onto the ground, and Rebekah, Isabel, and Elijah all swarm around him, livid at what he had just done. "Right. Now we can have a proper family meeting."
Rebekah just scowled at him before bending down to check on her sister. She was visibly furious as she looked over at Klaus, who had started to pace along one side of the room while Elijah paced along the other. Isabel bent down and carefully picked Freya up before walking her over to set her on the couch where she'd be more comfortable.
"Was that absolutely necessary?" Rebekah asked, standing up.
"Oh, please, she was insufferable."
Elijah pointed at Klaus with anger and exasperation. "That was ridiculous, even for you!"
"Completely unneeded if you asked me." Isabel told him as she placed her hands on her hips with a cocked brow. "You're just being a stubborn paranoid brat."
Klaus' jaw ticked at her words feeling more annoyance toward Isabel. "You've only just met her! Let's not get sentimental. Besides, if she was telling the truth about being immortal, she'll awaken shortly. If she was lying, good riddance."
"Yes." Elijah started sarcastically. "Of course, if she wakes, she'll be willing to help us with unbridled enthusiasm."
"She played you all for fools!" He spat at his family. "Can you not see that? She spins a sad yarn about a small child taken by an evil witch, and you all fall over yourselves to mend what's broken!"
"You seem so damn sure of yourself Nik." Isabel said in annoyance. Though Freya didn't have the parabatai connection with Isabel she was still a Mikaelson and it was sort of her job to help them with what's broken. "So how are you so certain?"
"Simple- It's exactly what I'd do." He told his parabatai.
Elijah rolled his eyes in annoyance as he walked to Freya.
"Well she's not you Nik. I can see that instantly." Isabel told him thoroughly aggravated with his accusations and behavior. "Thank the gods."
Elijah kneeled next to the couch where Freya lay, ignoring the bickering, as he checked her over. "My only question now is, what's in it for her?"
"Well, whatever the truth may be, she's in no position to help us now." Klaus answered.
Rebekah glared at him furiously before looking to Elijah. "Well, then we should try Marcel. Perhaps he's had luck on his end?" She turned to Klaus and shot him another glare. "Surely he's put in a better effort." She spat before storming out of the room to leave for Marcel's apartment, and after a moment, Elijah followed after her.
"You know I'm right, Elijah!" Klaus called after him.
Elijah stopped and turned back to Klaus, fed up with his attitude. "We can't have an alliance with someone we can't trust." He told his brother calmly. "You don't trust her, and that is your choice. I only hope that choice comes from a place of reason... not fear."
He then turned to go to Marcel's loft, leaving Klaus to turn to his parabatai with a raised brow. "Got anything else to add."
"You're an ass." She told him simply before storming up the stairs to the nursery to see Hope and Rose.
≪≫•≪≫•≪≫
Isabel sat on a blanket with Hope playing with her bunny and Rose playing with her. "Roses where is your... cheek?"
Rose giggled childishly as she pointed at her left cheek. Isabel smiled as she said, "yes it is! Now what about your...foot?" Rose leaned back and touched her foot that had baby pink socks. The baby giggled as she fell back. "Where's your tummy?" Rose pointed around her belly. "Right here? You sure?" Isabel asked as she pointed at the girls belly. She nodded her head and laughed loudly as her mom started to tickle her. Hope laughed at her sisters flailing arms, feeling immense joy radiate from the room. "You want some too?" She asked before using her other hand to tickle her youngest.
Rose kicked and flailed as she tried to get away from her mothers grasp. "Momma! Momma!"
Isabel stopped as she felt bile rise to her throat. She quickly ran from the room and into her bathroom before throwing up. She was the only one in the house as Klaus had left with Freya to talk to her more one on one so she had no one to come and help her. She quickly threw up whatever was in her stomach before washing her mouth and walking back into the kids nursery.
She didn't have much of an appetite this morning unlike the day before when she almost devoured any food she found. She wasn't quite sure what was wrong but figured it would go away now that she threw up.
"Momma otay?" Rose asked as soon as Isabel sat down again. She walked over and sat in her moms lap and curled herself into her.
"I'm fine sweetheart." The dirty blonde assured her oldest daughter as she glided her hand down her daughters dark blonde almost brown hair. "Must have ate something bad."
Rose moved around to grab her wolf before settling in with her mom again. She handed her the wolf and made a "woof" sound.
"Is that the sound a dog makes?"
She nodded her head.
"What about a bunny?" Isabel asked as she pointed at the bunny Hope was latched to.
Rose shrugged her shoulders before climbing out of her mothers lap to grab Hope. She tried to get her sister to stand but the baby didn't have the strength to do so so she sat back down on the bunny.
"She can't walk yet honey," Isabel told her daughter before leaning forward and picking up Hope to cradle her in her arms.
Hope cooed softly as she raised a hand to touch her mothers face. Isabel let her hold it there for a moment before she herself raised her hand and gave her a little tickle causing the baby to scrunch her face up and giggle.
"Opey," Rose said as she looked at her baby sister. "Opey! Opey! Opey happy."
Isabel giggled and scooped her up before settling both her daughters in her lap. She leaned her back against Hopes bed watching Rose start to lean her head on her soft boob, the young girls eyes on Hope who seemed content to fall asleep in her mothers arms. She kissed both her kids cheeks feeling complete with them.
≪≫•≪≫•≪≫
Klaus stood sullenly at the bar in the courtyard, where he poured himself a drink. He thought over what Freya said; about killing herself and her child to get away from Dahlia and the fact that Freya planned on sticking around especially since Elijah, Isabel, and Rebekah seemed so keen on her doing so.
Isabel walked out of the nursery after putting her kids to bed and feeling hungry when she immediately spotted him from the balcony. She quickly walked down the stairs so she could talk to him, not noticing his foul mood.
"We need to talk."
Klaus rolled his eyes and took a large gulp of bourbon before he sighed and turned to face her. "Do we, indeed. You've come to express your gratitude and the courtesy that I've shown your husband? Or, perhaps you're here to thank me for my efforts to protect you and your pack?"
"All this tension between you, Jack, and the wolves- we need to put it behind us." She started off softly but still stern. "Give Jack the space he needs to run the pack as he sees fit. No more orders, no more favors. He's Alpha. Period."
"I'm sorry, did you really think that I would ever agree to let Jackson control the wolves?" Klaus asked her as if she was stupid.
"You will show him respect, Klaus." She demanded. "Not only was this his birthright but he is on our side, and he's fighting for our daughter."
"You know, I've spent all day with people who claim to be fighting for our daughter. Some, I trust. Some, I do not. But, one thing is for sure- there is only one person I trust when it comes to my child's safety, and that would be me."
Isabel glared at him heatedly. "Oh someone so needs to take that stick out of your ass Niklaus because I'm absolutely sick of you!" She pointed at him right in the chest. "Your paranoia is killing me. If you'd open your damn eyes you'd see Freya might be able to be trusted. And that Jack can do just fine on his own with our wolves! And she's my daughter too Klaus. I carried her. I want what's best for her as well and I don't plan on putting her in danger." She shoved him slightly before turning away from him and storming away. "I'm not the one with the enemies. You are."
"You know, you all seem to think that this is a democracy." Klaus argued back even though he could tell she was done with him yet she stopped when she heard his voice. "I assure you, it is not! If Dahlia is coming, then she is a threat to my child, which means I decide how to protect her. No one else! And if Jackson or anyone strays from the course that I set, then they will answer to me. And your husband would do well to remember that. In fact, I think I'll leave it to you to remind him. That way, when he does inevitably incur my wrath again, you'll only have yourself to blame."
As Klaus started to storm away Isabel decided he wasn't allowed the last word. "You come at him, you come at me! So try it. I dare you." She spat before they both stormed off in different directions angrily. The food she had wanted long forgotten.
≪≫•≪≫•≪≫
"I looked into her eyes, and I saw only anger and fear." Klaus told Elijah, referring to his talk with Freya. "The will to do whatever it takes to survive, no matter who she hurts. I can use her to my own ends, but I could never allow so damaged a creature to have a say in my plans."
Before Klaus could say more Elijah interrupted him. "You may not trust her, or trust me, brother- we may have had our differences of late- but we shall exercise the same caution we have always demonstrated toward our allies."
"Fine," Klaus said with a roll of his eyes. "I'll let you pursue it. But, should Freya betray us-"
"If Freya should even attempt to betray us, I shall bury her beneath a thousand wretched torments." Elijah's words held a promise.
"I don't doubt it." Klaus replied unamused. "But, what if you're too late?" Elijah sighed in frustration but Klaus continued. "What if Freya is duplicitous? What if Hope should be harmed through her actions? You will not have to worry if I will never forgive you, because you will never forgive yourself. You will suffer a guilt that will be impossible to endure." He then grabbed Elijah's arm and forced him to look at him, but Elijah just sighed and gave him an unimpressed look.
"A terrible fate for one who cannot die."
"Nothing will happen to that child. But, we have to consider every weapon at our disposal, brother. Dahlia is coming." Klaus assured him.
In the upstairs nursery Hope slept soundly in her crib cuddling her bunny.
"The only question is when."
In Hopes room, Dahlia's voice was heard humming the same tune she hummed to Freya after she bonded them together so she could draw on her magic. Suddenly the music box on the nightstand next to Hope's crib magically wound itself up and started playing the same tune Dahlia was humming. After a moment, the curtains began to billow around as a breeze started to blow through the open window.
I know I didn't show the relationship between Davina, Andrew, and Kol because chapters would be too long and scenes would be random especially when the story is centered on Isabel. But the three did grow close like a family over the month or so he was with them. Well besides Andrew and Davina obvi. They are together.
