Toby's pov

I tic rapidly, running through the trees (y/n) was last seen. I want to find her. We're so worried.

I trip over a root and fall, but I don't feel it. I always felt so empty, but when (y/n) came... I felt... different.

Why does she make me feel this way?

Jeff's pov

I slouch through the woods, staring at the ground. I twirl my knife absentmindedly. It glints in the sun light. I frown and hide my face with my hood.

My knife slips out of my hands. I bend down and grab it, standing back up. I set it in my pocket and keep walking.

Where is she?

BEN'S pov

I feel horrible. Slendy said to pester her so she didn't find out about her birthday surprise.

The all silver wolf just gave birth to her pups a little while ago. We took the smallest, the runt, and helped it. He a day or so old now. We let the mom be with him, but eventually we will take him.

I stare at the mom and pups. My hand starts to shake as I cry black blood. I wipe it away and focus on watching the runt play. A family tugs at my mouth.

Please be okay. Please (y/n)...

Suzzi' s pov

The lady takes me to a bed and sets me down. I feel tired. I roll over and pretend to fall asleep, against what I want.

"Blue, why did they bring a little girl here?" She asks the older boy.

He answers her after a long time. "I have no idea."

Then it's quiet.

Why is she being nice to me?

Mime's pov

Suzzi is taken from my arms. My jester hat hits the floor, but I don't care. I reach out for her. Suzzi is like a sister to me. I'll protect her with my life!

They throw me roughly is a cell across from hers. A woman, maybe twenty or so, gently sets her on a cot after a minute or so. I reach out to her, but nod at the woman, then lower my arms.

I lean my back against the wall and stare at the floor infront of me.

Thank you for helping Suzzi, wolf.

Your pov!

I can tell the girl is fully asleep now. Blue and I chat quietly. The boss comes back in suddenly.

Blue covers me protectively. He walks right towards us.

Click. Click. Click.

His shoes echo off of the walls.

He opens our door with a key, which blends in with dozens more.

"Female." He orders. I slide out from behind Blue. I look at the floor. He reaches out and backhands me.

My whole body moves to the left. He grabs my (h/c) hair before I fall. He pulls me out of the cell and through the metal door. A guard slams the door shut.

I glance around the room, then my heart almost stops.

The biggest wolf is being led out as well. He smiles at me. He's walking in his own. Like...He wants to be here. Shivers run up my spine as I am pushed into the arena.

He walks in after me.

I stand still and wait for him. My eyes begin to burn from trying not to blink. My eyes water and I hesitatingly blink.

A weight crashes into my chest and I get rammed into the wall. I cry out in pain as a crack echoes around the arena. My chest burns and tingles with pain. I gasp for air. I think one of my ribs in broken.

He's the first one to beat me this well. I hear the humans screaming up from above.

I look up from the ground and see he's still in human form. My ears flatten against my head as his rise in an arrogant manner.

I crawl up into a crouch and whimper from the pain. Most would just give up right here.

But I  can't.

I stand and keep back a scream of pain.

He smiles again, and uses my pain against me. He punches my rib, the one that's broken.

I fall to the ground, crying and screaming from the pain.

I stand anyway. I have to try.

I stagger towards him, then shift suddenly. I bite at where he once was, but he flips my with his muzzle under my belly.

I land on my back. I squirm. He screams over me and growls in my face. I growl back. He snaps at my neck.

My ears go back in defeat. I whimper and lick his nose, showing that I know he's boss.

He snorts and backs away.

I walk back in a corner. I shift back and nearly fall to the ground. Like any alpha, he walks towards me. He picks me up roughly.

I whimper from the touch of his hand on my rib. He moves his hand away.

I lay limply in his arms. The metal door opens. They lead us back to the cells.

Blue automatically worries about me. The little girl does as well. I try to smile but whimper instead.

My alpha sets me down in front of my cell door. He leans in close and growls for effect. I whimper and shrink back.

He can't hurt me here...can he?

He smiles and walks into his own cell.

A guard opens my door and tosses me in. My chest bangs against the floor. I cry out and gasp, tears rolling down my face.

Why did I run. Why did I run from my family?!
