I look behind me and see....

Candy littering the ground, circling around me. I turn and grin aide, meeting Lj's gaze as he tilts his head down at me.

He giggles and gives my a bag of (fav. Candy bar). I grin wider and take out a piece, putting one half in my mouth.

Lj bends down and chomps the rest off. I shake my head tauntingly, faking sadness.

I grin and take his hand, eating the rest of the candy bar.

I take off through the trees. We act like children.

We giggle, laugh, trip over things, and laugh harder.

We keep holding hands.

When we crest a hill and look at the mansion, we both come to a silent agreement.

We will take Elizabeth and Donovan, and leave. I feel my heartstrings being pulled in a bad way, having to leave a Sally.

We both run and grab the twins. I hold Elizabeth while he grabs Donovan.

We hold hands ans disappear with a puff of grey smoke.

Like the stories I tell my adopted children:
