River: No, I'm not a Gary sue, my abilities completely evolve around my state of mental health and emotions which were severely damaged when My sister was taken. So most of the times I can be emotionless, meaning my ability is about as strong as trying to throw a cotton ball by itself. When I'm emotionless I have to completely depend on my book. But as seen in chapter "The Author" I was blinded by a fit of rage when I finally went against slenderman. My powers then were extremely unstable so I still had to use my book to keep them under control.
