9:50 Pm- Melony: Hey mom! How are you?

                  Mom: Hi Honey! I'm doing great, but isn't it a bit late for you to be texting? You have Exams tomorrow for school, don't you?

                    Melony: They were postponed due to the recent dissapearances around campus. Poor girls...

                     Mom: Girls? Are you okay?! Do I need to send your father to come get you?!

                     Melony: No, I'm okay. I'm in my house rn, so I have nothing to worry about. The girls that dissapeared were all alone on campus grounds!

                     Mom: That doesn't mean whoever the culprit is can't break into houses next, Mel! I insist you come home- at LEAST stay a couple of days until the one behind the dissapearances is caught!

                    Melony: Momma, you KNOW I can't do that! You live too far from the college to do that!

                    Melony: Hmmmm.... Listen, how about this- you and daddy can come to stay at my place for a couple. Nobody can enter in without daddy's special girl comin to greet them lol!

                     Mom: Lol, true. If you insist, I'll even whip up my famous pasta special you love so much😊!

                     Melony: Heck yeah! You rock Mom!

                      Mom: Haha, I know I do. Well, I'll let your father know, and we'll head out around Saturday afternoon okay?

                       Melony: Sounds good to me. Love you💗!

                       Mom:🩷

                       Mom: Love you too Melly! Gn!

                       Melony: Gn

11:30 Pm-  Melony: Mom? Are you up still?

                     Mom: I am now. Is everything okay? What's wrong?

                      Melony: Not really, just thinking there's some faulty wiring in the house... And a rat problem🙄...

                       Mom: YIKES😬! Well once we go over there your father can give Mr. Brooks a call to have a look around. You remember Austin, don't you? You and his boy were ALWAYS playing with one another in the front yard.

                        Melony: I know him and his son. I wonder how Ethan is doing these days?

                          Mom: He hasn't stopped talking about you, even after you left for college that boy still has you on his mind!

                          Melony: I know. He's CONSTANTLY blowing up my phone, wondering how I'm doing, or if I have a boyfriend yet lol. Maybe the next time he asks I'll tell him that it's him 😂.

                           Mom: Now don't go breaking the poor kid's heart, Mel. Men are very fragile when it comes to topics of love, you know! But if you truly feel that way about him, then by all means! I have nothing against it :).

                            Melony: Dad woul FREAK if he found out you said I could date his best friend's son, haha. But srsly, these noises in the walls are creeping me out...

                             Mom: Well, it's an old house Honey. Old houses tend to have creaky pipes and faulty wiring sometimes. Don't let it get you out of your comfort space, dear, and you try to go back to sleep.

                             Melony: Yeah, you're right. Besides, they won't be as scary when I have you two over, right? You and daddy will protect me, I know you will😁!

                              Mom: Darn straight🤣! Love you sweetheart! Try not to think about the noises.

                              Melony: Love you too. I'll try, see you Saturday! Looking forward to that pasta!

1:50 Am- Melony: Okay, Mom? I don't think it's rats anymore...😳

                  Mom: Melony, really? It's one in the morning! I already told you old houses make scary noises all the time!

                    Melony: No, Mom, you don't understand.... I heard a loud bang coming from downstairs, and when I went to investigate, I found the door wide open! I looked around the house, but nothing seemed to be touched- even the police sweeped the area inside and out but found nothing still. And the scratching- it's too big to be coming from rats in the walls, Mom! Not just that, but now there's a rattling in the vents, and I feel like I'm being watched! Could you and daddy please come tomorrow instead of Saturday🥺?

                     Mom: Hmmmm.... That IS concerning..... I'll talk to your father about it in the morning, so PLEASE try to ignore it! It may just be nerves from today toying with you, go make some Tea- helps me go to sleep ALL the time!

                      Melony: Fine.... I guess I'll make Tea.... Gn

                      Mom: Gn, darling.

3:40 Am- Melony: Mom? Are you up?

                  Melony: Mom, PLEASE wake up!

                    Melony: MOM ANSWER ME😭!!!

                    Mom: WHAT!

                    Mom: WHAT IS IT THAT'S SO IMPORTANT THAT YOU'RE NOW WAKING ME UP AT ALMOST FOUR!?

                    Melony: Momma, you and daddy need to come NOW!

                    Mom: What? Wdym "NOW"😡!?

                    Melony: It's gotten worse, Mom. WAY worse! I'm hearing grunting and snarling coming from the hallway, and the police are telling me they can't help! Please, Mom, PLEASE wake up dad and come over😢!

                    Mom: WHAT?! How can they not help? What if there's a wild animal in your house!

                    Melony: Idk, they were going on about a mysterious creature, then they told me that it was too late for them to help me! Please, Momma, PLEASE send someone if you can't come but just HURRY!

                     Mom: I'll contact Ethan, just hold tight sweetpea! Don't leave your room, and get to somewhere you can talk in peivate.

                      Melony: Okay.... Please, PLEASE hurry mommy🥺.

3:56- Christine: Ethan? Ethan wake up, please?

          Ethan: Mrs. Lanel? What's going on? Do you realize what time it is?

            Christine: Ethan, it's Melony. She has some kind of ferral animal in her house and the police are doing NOTHING to solve it. Could you and your father go over there to check the place out, and see if she's okay?

              Ethan: Yeah, of course! I'll do that right away, ma'am.

               Ethan: Okay, dad and I are ready to go. Just give us her address, and were good as gold!

                Christine: Thank you. PLEASE hurry, she's blowing up my phone, terrified that whatever is in the house is trying to get her! Her address is 74 Charleston street 4095 Québec City, Canada.

                 Ethan: Alright, heading that way. I'll let you know when we get there alright?

                  Christine: Thank you dear.

4:10- Ethan: Hey, Mellie? Your mom just contacted dad and I to tell us your situation. I just wanted to let you know that we're going to be there shortly, so if you can, wait outside your house.

             Ethan: Mellie?

               Ethan: Mel?
        
               Ethan: Helloooooo?

               Melony: It's too late.....

               Ethan: Huh? What do you mean?

               Melony: It's too late, Ethan.... It's inside....

               Ethan: WHAT'S inside, Mel. Where even IS inside?!

               Melony: It's too late... The police were right.... It's too late...

               Ethan: Mellie we're here! Where is it!?

               Ethan: WHERE IS IT, MEL?!

               Melony: It's too late.... It's in the House....

                Ethan: WHAT?! MEL GET OUT OF THERE!

                Melony: Ethan, I love-

                Ethan: MEL?! ARE YOU THERE?!

After a recent string of dissapearances, the University of Québec agreed to shut down It's campus doors for the rest of the year. "It's tragic," stated headmaster Gillian Swan,  "for the families of the missing girls. May God bring them back to their loved ones safely, and the one behind the atrocious acts apprehended!" The populace is encouraged to call authorities with any information they may have regarding the list of the missing college females below:
