-Toby actually had dentures. When he was younger his teeth got removed because when he teethed, he chewed on his tongue, and as ge got his adult teeth he was still too reckless and his teeth got knocked out. Only Jane, BEN and EJ know this though
1) his goggles are actually a childhood icon. He wore them when he was a baby so he didn't jam things into the eyeballs. Lyra was the one who came up with it

2) as a baby, toby didn't cry when he was hungry. That's one of the main reasons why he's so damn skinny and he's very insecure about it.

3) Jane makes sure he gets doctors appointments nearly weekly/monthly just in case something is internally wrong with him internally
