I staggered and wadded through the snowy terrain, my eyelids drooping and my form seeming to numb from the cold. I followed behind E.J, trying to keep up with his fast pace. My eye throbbed as the snow melted through the bandages around them, rendering me blind. E.J gave me special tips on how to follow him so I wouldn't get lost with the bandages around my eyes, so I was being really cautious about finding his footprints in the snow before they were covered by snow again. But I still ran into him when he stopped walking, making me fall with my butt in the snow.
I heard laughing from him and got up, smacking what I thought was his head and taking a deep breath, nor being able to see my frozen breath before me. "Okay, for today I wanted to train you with a weapon but since your eye, I will teach you on blind attacks so if your other eye decided to stop working as well, you could still be able to function properly." He said, ruffling my hair. I sighed and nodded, following him to where he told me to stand and waited. I was antsy, and fidgeting like I never have before, let's just say that I was nervous to an unholy extent. Then I heard it, the faith sound if crunching snow, I turned around to try and attack the being as best as I could but I only got smacked in the back of my head. "Ow, what was that for?" I yelled, "you have to make the opponent believe that you can't spot them, or they will attack!" He yelled in response, his voice growing fainter.
'Okay, so I have to make it seem believable that I'm def... okay' I thought to myself, preparing for another blow. *crunch* *crunch* I heard the noise of crunching snow again, but I flinched vigorously, earning me another smack to the head. I groaned and rubbed my head, hearing e.j say "like I said, believable!" I sighed and waited yet again for my turn.
Time and time again I was smacked in the head as I waited to attack, I couldn't figure out what I was doing wrong, until I thought of something, maby I'm supposed to attack when the footsteps get closer, act natural as if I didn't hear it in the first place, then attack after I hear it again. A look of determination crossed my face and I slouched down, putting my hands in my pockets, looking down. I counted the seconds before I heard the crunch in my head, not even flinching as I heard the second one. I waited and waited, finally hearing multiple crunches of snow heading towards me in a flash. But I moved to the side just in time to trip him. I jumped up and down as I clapped, I did it, I actually did something right!
I removed my blindfold only to trip on my feet and fall on my back, my smile fading away. In front of me was a hairless creature, skin sunken in and claws like sharp knifes covered in dry blood. I scrambled up to my feet and went up to it, kicking it's faint body with my foot. "(Y/N)! get away from that!" E.j yelled, gaining my full attention, I turned around and started running, stepping on the creatures claw that was aiming for my legs. When I made it to E.J I was out of breath and sank down into the snow and cradled my legs as I rocked, the things eyes, they were haunting, it's like I could see everything that has happened to me in a flash of pain, I didn't like it, not at all. I continued to rock as I saw E.J's mask in front of my face, I watched as he frantically shook my shoulders, and only when I saw that thing behind e.j that I knew what I should do. I shut my eyes and pretended to faint, forcing my body to go limp as e.j kept me stable. I heard him frantically cuss and I could have mistake him for a sailor, but then when I had heard the faintest crunch of snow right by my foot, I whispered. "Always expect the unexpected," and kicked that thing as hard as I could, my eyes still closed as I stood up and started kicking the thing over and over again, not because I wanted to, but because I get angered easily, and I wasn't exactly raised, appropriately in other people's perspectives.
So as I'm doing this with my eyes completely shut, I suddenly feel e.js grip on my shoulders as I am then pulled away from my target. So now we are running back to the mansion with that thing on our tails, and my head pounding so much that's it's hard to think straight. I even tripped up on my feet as we were almost to the mansions door so e.j literally flings me into his arms and slams the door shut and locks it.
We could both here the screams of the hairless dog dude and the scratches that were now growing fainter and fainter. I was panting and shivering as e.j put me down. "Are you okay? Don't you ever pull a stunt like that again!"e.j said, straightening his mask as he crouched down to my level. " but you fooled me, and saved our butt's in that situation, good job." He said to me as he ruffled my hair. "Yeah, good job squirt! You did a good job at saving a grown man's ass!" Shouted BEN from the living room, causing e.j to walk in the room he was in and smack him in the face. I smiled and grabbed a random blanket from one of the stools in the kitchen, walking toward....some where, I didn't know where I was going but I figured that I should get some sleep.

Guess this day wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.
