Two weeks later Natsu woke up to Lucy screaming. He bolted out of the his room and ran to her's. "Where's the fire?" He yelled slamming the door open. Lucy quickly sat up. "What's wrong Natsu?" Natsu looked at her confused. "I just heard you scream..." Lucy looked at him, worried. "Natsu are you okay? I was asleep the whole time." Natsu shrugged and walked out. "Good night, again."

Natsu jumped into bed and immediately fell asleep. Lucy however couldn't sleep. She quietly whimpered and threw the covers over her head, forcing herself to sleep.

They both woke up in the morning. Lucy went into the shower and turned on the water. Lucy was rinsing the shampoo out of her hair when she heard the door open. "Natsu?" She waited for a while. "Natsu I'm using the shower." Silence. "Natsu...." She then heard the door close.

She put on a pair of jeans and a pink off the shoulder ruffle top. She went downstairs and made breakfast for both her and Natsu.

Lucy was humming a song that her mom used to sing to her. "What a great coincidence." She heard. "Mother used to sing that to me to. " Lucy shivered and turned around.

No one was there.

Lucy went back to making breakfast when she heard a thud and a cry of pain. Lucy turned off the oven and ran to the stairs. She saw a unconscious Natsu with blood around him. Lucy bent down next to him and checked his pulse. Knowing that he was alive, Lucy put his arm around her shoulder and carried him to the couch. She then went to the bathroom and got a first aid kit with achol and cotton balls. She went back to find Natsu slowly regaining conscious. She knelt down and put the first aid supplies on the coffee table. "What happened?" Lucy asked. Natsu thought for a while and then rubbed his temple. He got a pounding headache. "I... don't remember." Lucy gently pushed him back down. "Rest. I'll take care of you." Lucy grabbed the cotton and achol. Natsu immediately recoiled. Lucy grabbed his arm and sighed. She poured achol on a cotton ball and pressed it against one of his many cuts. He flinched and hissed in pain when the achol made contact with his skin. Lucy winced slightly. "Sorry Natsu." Lucy realized that his shirt was bloody. "You're gonna have to remove your shirt." Natsu obeyed but winced slightly. Lucy huffed and removed his shirt and let out a sharp gasp. She dropped the shirt and covered her mouth. Natsu turned around confused. "Luce? Lucy, what's wrong?" Lucy went to the bathroom and came back with a wet towel. She pressed it against his back and he gasped sharply. "Luce, what the hell?" Lucy ignored him, pressing the towel against his back, trying not to puke. On his back, was a long ragged scar, right near his heart. Natsu turned around and grabbed Lucy's arm. "Luce what's wrong." Lucy covered her mouth, forcing her stomach to stay down. "Nothing. Erk." Lucy ran to the bathroom, puking her stomach. "Luce," she heard Natsu at the door. She waved him off. "I'm fine."

But she was nowhere close to fine.
