I woke up to the sun beaming through the window which was blinding me.

I covered my eyes, trying to block out the sunlight, but to no avail.

Groaning and sluggishly getting out of bed, I went to the kitchen to get food and as I was looking through the said list, there was a very loud knock at the door.

Knowing immediately that it was Lily and also knowing how impatient she is, I went to open the door.

She strolled in looking a little agitated. I wanted to ask what the problem was, but decided against it because I knew she would, eventually, tell me.

"Good morning." I greeted while yawning.

"Morning?" She raised her eyebrows. " girl, try evening."

"Oh..." I trailed off. "Well, ummm..."

Crap I didn't know what to say. At least now I know why she was agitated, but I did wonder how on earth I could've slept that long.

"Harper and Damien will be here in just a second." and as soon as those words left her mouth, there came more knocks.

As Damien came in with a smirk on his face, looking very pleased with himself, with Harper following close behind I say, " the door was open idiot. So you didn't have to knock."

Hey!" He said while raising his arms. "I'm not the one who slept all day."

" touché." I said as we all made our way to the living area.
Lily took the floor while Damien and Harper opted for the couch and I took the armchair.

Getting uncomfortable with the silence Harper asked, "so, what's the plan?"

Lily suggested in an excited tone, "we could hit up the beach."

"Okay." I agreed with another yawn.

Yeah, I know. Not exactly a lady like thing to do, but who cares?
These were my lifelong friends.
We have all seen one another at our absolute worse which was one thing that made us so close.

Damien, being the man whore that he is agreed, " I'm down. That will give me the chance to hit up some hot babes and maybe get lucky again."

Cue the wiggling of the eyebrows.

Harper who was grossed out began to gag exclaiming, "ew Damien! No one wants images in their head!"

He joked in answer while leaning towards her, "come on babe. You know you love it."

She shoved him away replying with, "in your dreams bucko. I wouldn't be with you even if you were the last guy on earth."

Putting his hand to his chest, pretending he was hurt he said, "that hurts babe. Why did you have to cut me so deep?"

She shook her head rolling her eyes.

Standing up, clapping I said, "okay!" If you two are done flirting," i stared pointingly at them, "how about we get ready and head down to the beach."

"Fine by me." He says while standing up to which Harper and Lily followed suit.

"Why don't we meet up in the lobby once we"re all ready?" Lily suggested again.

Turning towards her I say, "good idea."

"Its settled then?"

"Yup."

They walked out of my room, going to their own to get ready.

Once they were all out, I shut the door before heading to the bedroom in hunt of a swimsuit.

As I was searching through the dressers, hunting, a flash of mint green caught the corner of my eye at the very bottom of the drawer.

Reaching the bottom, I pulled out what caught my eye.  

Holding it up to look at it I thought, When did I get this? I don't remember packing this.

Both the top and bottom were mint green. The top had the straps that you tied at the back of your neck to hold up the top while the bottoms had the strings that tied on the left and right side of it.

Still bedazzled, I stripped, changing into the two piece and then put my hair in a low braid.

Once that was done I put my flip flops on and then grabbed a beach towel along with my phone and key before heading out the door.

Harper met me just as I was stepping into the elevator.

"Wait up!" She called.

So I held the door.

After she was in, I pressed the button that would take us to the lobby.

"Nice bathing suit." She commented once noticing my attire.

Being honest I told her, " I don't even remember owning something like this. Let alone packing it."

With a shrug she said, "maybe Lily snuck it in when you weren't around. We all know she would do something like that."

"To true." I said with a smile.

The elevator finally dinged, opening its doors to let us out.

Damien and Lilt were already there waiting for us.

"Took you two long enough." Damien greeted.

With an angelic smile gracing my lips I told him, "get over it."

"Are we going or what? I want to work on my tan." Lily called as she was walking out the front door.

See?

Impatient.

Upon catching up to her I asked, " How are we getting there?"

"Already taken care of." She said as a cab pulled up.

Lily hopped in the passenger seat while the rest of us got in the back.

About ten minutes later the cab pulled to the side saying, " this is your stop mams and sir."

After getting out, I paid the driver to the annoyance of Lily.

"Get over it." I told her like I had told Damien.

She mumbled incoherently as she was following behind.

We walked along the beach searching for a spot and about fifteen minutes later we found one.

Hardly anyone was around which was good in my opinion and the ocean and its waves were a sight to take in.
The sand being soft under our feet.
The sun itself was on the right side of the sky which meant it wouldn't obscure our vision.

Once the chairs and all were sat up, Harper and Damien went to the ocean, Lily laid out her towel and laid down, working on her tan while I opted to sit in one of the chairs with a bottle of coke to read.

We literally stayed all day.
We would of stayed longer, but it was getting dark therefore we packed everything up going back the way we came, towards the cab that was waiting on the side at the entrance.

But, before getting in, something caught my eye...

A cave.

A cave that looked to be sparkling.

It wasn't there before... was it?

Shaking it off as my imagination, I hopped in the cab, not knowing the whole entire time that the cave stayed.
