A few days had passed since you were left behind on Isla Sorna, you'd been staying with the Raptor pack ever since you got left behind, basically playing Survivor on this island of Dinosaurs, the pack had mostly kept you around the nests to care for their hatchlings.

It was rather confusing really, why these Raptors would trust you, a Human, to look after their babies while they were Hunting, or why they would even want to keep you around for that matter, but you weren't complaining, after all, it was certainly better than dying or being eaten by them.

You had made yourself a home in the old InGen building that you had come across with the group, where you saw those Dinosaur Embryo's and were chased by that male Raptor, of course the Raptors also followed you to this make-shift home of yours, probably to make sure you didn't go too far away from their nesting grounds.

You also had a few close calls with some of the other Dinosaurs that lived on this island, such as a swarm of Compsognathus, a couple Parasauolophus and Corythosaurus, and a Brachiosaur, though they seemed to be scared of the scent of Raptor on your now rather dirty clothes.

Right now you were sat at the edge of the Raptor Nest, checking the pictures you had taken with your camera, you'd taken quite a few good pictures, and made sure to turn off the Flash, since you REALLY didn't want to startle any of the Raptors.

"Hehe, those hatchlings are so cute... huh?" you said, when a sound got you to look up from your camera, your eyes widened when you saw one of the baby raptors being attacked by a couple of Compsognathus!

"Oi! Get away! Shoo, shoo!" you said as you scrambled to your feet and rushed to the baby Raptor's defence, the Compy's just ignored you at first, too busy attacking the baby Raptor until you swatted one of them away, knocking it back into the bushes, the other Compy's then sprinted away, before one was suddenly caught in the jaws of one of the adults, it squealed briefly before it was killed and swallowed whole.

"Are you alright little one?!" you asked worriedly as you knelt down next to the injured baby Raptor, you saw that the baby Raptor had a few cuts on her body and a deep wound on her snout, those Compy's had bitten or clawed at her, then you realised that this was the baby Raptor that had climbed onto your chest after she hatched.

"Oh you poor baby, it's alright" you said gently as you placed your hands on the baby raptor, who flinched at your touch, hissing at you defensively, her aggression seemed to be up right now, not too surprising after what had just happened.

"It's okay, it's okay, it's only me" you said, holding your hand out, fully prepared for her to snap at your fingers, the baby Raptor made a growling noise as she breathed hard and fast, looking ready to attack before she seemed to calm down and nuzzled your fingers.

"There you go, it's okay sweetie..." you said as she came closer and crawled into your lap, you saw the other Raptors were on high alert, watching out for any other invaders while you were looking after the baby Raptor, which was trembling in your lap.

"Come on little one, your staying with me!" you said as you looked to the bushes and tall grass, watching warily for any more Compsognatus as you carried the baby Raptor away from the edge of the nests and more into the safety of the group.

"It's alright, I'll keep you safe... (BR/N), yeah! That's a nice name, right?" you asked the baby Raptor as you ran your fingers along her back, the baby raptor chirped as she nuzzled into your lap, you smiled and stayed with the little one, planning to be her mother.

A FEW DAYS LATER, AT THE RAPTOR NESTS

Right now, you were sat in the middle of the Raptor nests, watching over the babies along with a few of the adults, who were lurking in the bushes, keeping watch over you and their young.

"Alright little ones, that's it, right this way" you encouraged, watching as the baby Raptors squeaked and chirped, stumbling after you on their tiny legs.

You smiled and watched the baby Raptors as they followed you, kind of acting like baby Birds, you also saw (BR/N) chirping and following after you eagerly, her small eyes gazing up at you curiously, it was easy to pick her out of the swarm of baby dino's thanks to the scar on her snout from the Compy's.

(BR/N) squeaked and walked closer to your legs, before she stopped in front of you, chirping and tilting her head up at you, followed by a few of her siblings, that flocked around your feet, some of them looking curiously at your shoes, before one of then nipped one of your toes.

"Ah! Hey, watch the toes!" you yelped, lifting your foot up off the ground, the Raptor babies got startled from your sudden movement and run back, all apart from (BR/N), you rubbed your toes, seeing the little teeth marks.

"Good thing they can't break the skin, gotta remember they play rough, maybe I should try to find something better to put on my feet?" you muttered to yourself, plus trying to move around in this jungle in those shoes was a little difficult, considering the heels.

"Yeah right, like I'll be able to find shoes here!" you huffed in annoyance, the only other option was to go barefoot, you didn't have much problem with that, it's just that you were sure your toes might be at risk from Compys or the baby Raptors, you then took out your phone and looked at the power.

"Damn, only 25%? That sucks..." you whined in annoyance, after this you might have to find another way to entertain yourself.

"Well... I guess it was unavoidable, I mean, not exactly like I can put it on charge or anything since there's no electricity on this island, right (BR/N)?" you said as you looked at the infant Velociraptor.

The little Raptor made small cheeps as she looked at you with her big eyes, you then went to your playlist and played "Another one bites the Dust" by Queen, you moved your head to the beat and looked down at (BR/N), you smiled as you saw her bobbing her head to the beat with you.

"Haha, are you dancing, baby?" you asked with a laugh as you started tapping your fingers on the ground, (BR/N) chirped and watched your fingers before the baby dinosaur started stamping her little clawed feet on the ground, stamping her clawed feet in time with the beat of the song!

"No way!" you said with a surprised smile on your lips, watching the little Dinosaur as she moved with the music, before she were joined by her siblings, the curious little reptiles copying the movements they saw you and (BR/N) doing, sometimes squeaking or chirping, while some of the adults left to guard the nest tilted their heads and watched.

"Aww, that's so cute!" you squealed happily, watching as the little Dinosaurs kept moving with the music.

Soon you heard the barks of the Adult Raptors, and sat in the nests, watching as the adult Raptors came running back to the nests, bringing back food for their young, it seems they had for some reason chosen you to watch over their young while they went out to hunt for food.

You watched as the adults brought the meat to the nests, the Hatchlings stopped playing and ran to their parents, clamouring for a piece of the tasty meat their parents had brought back from their recent hunt, the parents would drop the chunks of raw Dinosaur flesh on the ground and the little ones would start nibbling and picking at it, tearing off small chunks.

"I wonder if I can even eat Dinosaur meat? Or would it be bad since it's cloned?" you wondered to yourself, you didn't know how long you were going to be staying here with these Raptors, you'd eventually run out of the snacks from that machine, or worse, they could be expired and make you very sick.

You were taken out of your thoughts when you felt something nuzzle your leg, you looked down to see (BR/N) nuzzling your leg, looking up and you with blood on her jaws, it seems she'd eaten her fill and now wanted her adoptive mother's attention.

"Well hello there, has someone eaten their fill?" you cooed as you reached down and picked (BR/N) up, the baby Dinosaur chirping as you cradled her in your arms, holding her so she was on her belly in your arms, her tiny claws gripping your arms as she seemed to admire the view from so high off the ground.

You smiled down at her as you held her gently supporting her body, then you heard a squeak and looked down, seeing some of the Raptor babies looking up at you, tilting their heads, you swore you could see expectation in their little eyes.

"Why are you? Oh, I know what you all want, fine..." you said as you carefully knelt down and extended your arm to them, the baby Raptors went to your hand and sniffed it before they started running up your arm and stopping on your shoulders, clinging to your jacket for support.

"Okay little ones, hold on now" you said before you started to slowly stand back up, to make sure none of the babies fell, until soon you were standing up straight, with the baby Raptors looking around in what seemed like wonder from their new height.

One of the Female Raptors barked and walked over to you, her eyes watching you carefully, or more accurately, the babies that were on you, you really didn't want to accidentally drop one with a protective mama Raptor so close!

Suddenly, (BR/N) barked and wiggled in your arms, adjusting her position before she started to climb up your shirt and jacket!

"Ah! Watch the claws! Please, watch the claws (BR/N)!" you said as her needle-like claws pricked you as she climbed, she got close and snapped at one of her siblings that she wanted to move, the baby hissing at her as they moved aside, letting her climb up and around the back of your neck, then she started to try climbing higher, her little claws going through your hair!

"Ah, ah, ah, ah! wait, wait wait, hold on!" you said worriedly as you moved your hands up, just in case she or one of the others fell, before she managed to pull herself up on top of your head, making victorious chirps as she stood tall, like she were going "I'm queen of the castle, I'm queen of the castle!".

"Ah... I think I might need to trim those claws of yours..." you said as you felt the light scratches on the back of your neck and head, (BR/N) made an offended sounding chirp before her little head came down, upside down in front of your face.

"Hey, don't get all defensive, they hurt!" you said to the baby Raptor, giving her a stern look as she gave a screech right at your face.

"Oi! Don't swear at me young lady!" you said giving her another stern glare, the little Raptor made a whimpering sound and moved her head back up.

(I'm talking to a Dinosaur, yep it's official... I've gone nuts, but at least I'm not talking to a volleyball with a face painted on it...) you thought to yourself as some of the baby Raptors started climbing down your clothes, going back to playing while (BR/N) chose to stay on top of your head.

A FEW HOURS LATER

"Haaa... what a day..." you sighed tiredly as you walked into the room you claimed for yourself, you gently set (BR/N) down, letting her toddle around the room as usual, you then saw the snacks that were left over from Billy smashing that vending machine in a pile on a desk with an old, rusty computer.

You picked up a granola bar and ate it, you'd have to think more about either trying to get help, or finding a way to survive until help would come, though, you weren't too sure how you felt about leaving these raptors behind after they had pretty much accepted you into their pack, or tribe?

"Those baby Raptors really wore me out... I think I'll have a rest for now, maybe listen to some music" you said as you finished barricading the door into the room, before you sat on the old cot you had dragged into the room, the blankets, sheets and mattress were very dirty, but it was better than nothing.

(BR/N) squeaked as she jumped at the dangling blankets, using her little claws to climb up onto the bed and quickly scurry close to you as you laid down on the dirty bed, getting yourself as comfy as you could with what you had, while (BR/N) snuggled up close to you for warmth.

"Goodnight (BR/N)..." you mumbled as you closed your eyes and went to sleep, also very glad you'd blocked the door just in case anything that wasn't one of the Raptors came along looking for a meal.

THE NEXT DAY

You had woken up the next day, and were off exploring with (BR/N), walking along with her as you searched more of the old InGen center, you walked around, looking at the plants and other stuff that had grown into the building, nature was in the process of reclaiming these structures.

"Hmm... well I know where the labs are, and the paddocks, but I wonder if there's anything else here? What do you think (BR/N)?" you asked as you looked down at the baby raptor, who looked up towards you and made small barks as she toddled around your legs.

"Yeah, let's go take a look around, see what else is here" you said as you walked on ahead, with the baby Raptor following you, running to keep pace with your stride, you looked around, opening drawers to find any canned food that might have been left over, until you opened a drawer and found a Kitchen Knife.

"Huh... this could be handy, I heard that a knife can be useful for survival, or was that rope?" you said to yourself, as you turned the blade in your hand, (BR/N) chirped when she saw the light reflecting off the metal, following the light that was reflected around the room.

"Well... at least it could be helpful if I'm attacked, as long as it's not another T-Rex, or that damn Spinosaurus..." you muttered as you put the knife in the bag you had with you, which you also carried your camera in.

"I've taken a lot of pictures now, too bad I can't have them downloaded onto my laptop, I wonder what's happening back home, do they think I'm dead?" you asked yourself, as you started to think about your family and friends, feeling sad and angry about being left behind on this island, and you had no way off, and you were sure no one would be coming to get you anytime soon.

You then felt something tugging at your pant leg, you looked down and saw (BR/N) biting at your pants leg, you blinked and suddenly felt warm tears fall onto your cheeks, you wiped them away, before you smiled and knelt down to (BR/N), scooping her up and holding her close.

"Thanks girl, I know your just trying to cheer me up..." you said as you held the little dinosaur close to your body, with her chirping as she savoured your bodyheat, but then suddenly you heard something from the way you came into the kitchen...

You turned your head slowly and looked towards the door, your eyes widening when you saw something pushing at the door, you quickly stood up and backed away, watching the door carefully, hoping that it was just one of the Raptors from the nests that had come to fetch you.

The hope was dashed however when the door to the kitchen was slammed open, it was indeed a Raptor, but... it's wasn't one of the Raptors you had been around, this one was Orange with black stripes, like that of a Tiger, and it had yellow eyes with a reptilian slit rather than the rounded pupils you saw the others with.

"What the hell? Another Raptor?! Why does it look so different than the others?" you said to yourself as you kept a careful watch on the Raptor, feeling scared from the fact it was looking at you and (BR/N) like you were prey!

(Shit, is this a Raptor from a different pack or something?!) you thought to yourself worriedly, the Raptor in front of you hissed as it bared it's teeth at you, splaying it's claws threateningly.

"Oh no... you said as you saw the Raptor stalking towards you, (BR/N) started barking at the Raptor which hissed loudly, scaring (BR/N) and making her squirm and jump from your arms and run away, the Raptor shrieked and lunged after (BR/N)!

"NO!" you shouted as you saw this Raptor lunge towards (BR/N), you grabbed the handle of the Kitchen Knife and stabbed the Raptor, the Raptor roared in pain and anger before it turned it's attention towards you!

The Raptor roared and lunged at you, knocking you down before it jumped with a loud shriek, you scrambled and grabbed the closest thing to you, a pot and held it up, the Raptor's jaws snapped at the pot as it's claws raked at your clothes, leaving scratches on your clothes and your skin, leaving bleeding cuts as the Raptor tried to kill you!

"Get the fuck off of me!!" you screamed as you used all of your strength to try and keep the Raptor off of your, if those jaws got hold of your throat or your face, you'd be dead!

You saw your knife laying close by, but you couldn't even dare to try and reach for it, otherwise the Raptor's jaws would tear you apart! Your eyes started to water, fear of your impending death looming in your mind, suddenly a small, pale shape rushed out from under one of the food preparation areas and started biting at the Raptor's ankle!

"(BR/N)!" you said in shock as the baby Dinosaur attacked the larger Raptor, the Raptor took it's gaze off of you and snarled at (BR/N), you took the distraction and reached out for the knife, grabbing the handle of the blade before you screamed and stabbed at the Raptor's neck, the blade stabbing into the side of the Raptor's neck.

The Raptor shrieked in rage and pain before spinning at you, and lunging towards your face!

However, before the Raptor's jaws could latch onto you it was knocked off of you, the sounds of a struggle coming from your left, you looked over and scrambled back as you watched one of the Male Raptors from the pack you were with wrestling with this Tiger Raptor, both Dino's clawing and snapping at each other.

The Raptors rolled over each other, the Tiger raptor biting the Male Raptor's lower jaw, however, you saw that the Tiger raptor was weakening, the bleeding wound in it's neck was causing it to lose it's strength! The Male was holding it down, before another Raptor, one of the Females came rushing in as well and joined the attack, now it was two on one.

You dragged yourself back so you were sitting against one of the counters, (BR/N) barked and rushed to your side, making worried barks and nuzzling you as you winced and panted, your body trembling from the adrenaline of the sudden, savage attack.

You watched as the two Raptors ganged up on the wounded Tiger Raptor, until you saw the Female tear into it's throat, the Tiger Raptor then fell to the ground, weakly shrieking before it's body fell still, both adult Raptors were breathing quickly, showing their teeth as they were worked up from the fight.

Then you heard something outside, it sounded similar to that time when you and Dr. Grant trapped one of the Male Raptors in that cage door, one of the pack was calling for help, the two adult Raptors looked at each other before they rushed out of the room, probably heading back towards the nest.

"D-Damn...! Is this some kind of... Pack war?!" you asked as you pulled yourself up to your feel, hissing as the cuts you got from that raptor's claws stung, you put your hand on them and took it away, seeing blood on your hand, you knew you had to hurry and help them though!

"What should I do? I can't stay here and just let those stripy bastards kill the babies!" you hissed as you stumbled to the dead Raptor, kneeling down and pulling the Kitchen Knife from it's neck, (BR/N) followed after you as you left the kitchen and went to go to the nests to help.

"No! You stay here (BR/N), where you'll be safe" you said as you pushed (BR/N) into your bedroom and shut the door behind you, you heard (BR/N) shrieking and scratching at the door, you felt guilty about doing this to her, but at least she would be safe, you then started to go towards the nests to help the Raptors.

You followed the sounds of fighting and soon saw that the Raptors you were currently living with pretty much at war with these invading Raptors! You saw raptors wrestling with each other, snapping their jaws at each other and making threatening displays, there was one Tiger Raptor that was down and being attacked by a Male and a Female of the Bird Raptors.

Suddenly, one of the Tiger Raptors jumped from the brush and attacked one of the other Males, landing on it's back and biting into the back of Feathered Raptor's neck, you growled and rushed to that Raptor stabbing the Tiger raptor with your Kitchen Knife, making it shriek in pain and lash you with it's tail, knocking the wind out of you.

You fell on your back, gasping for air as your ribs and lungs ached painfully from the impact of the Raptor's tail, you saw that your knife was bloody and you'd left a wound in the Raptor's side, you had also distracted it allowing another of the Feathered Raptors to tackle it and begin savaging it's throat.

You looked around and saw that this brief skirmish had been won, the invading Raptors were either dead, or running away, the ones you lived with were all in a state of adrenaline and blood frenzy, you didn't dare make any sudden moves in case you did something to aggrevate them and get yourself attacked.

You slowly pulled yourself up, holding the bloody knife you had, with your arm wrapped around your chest, trying to ignore the pain from your ribs as you started to make your way toward the place you were staying, you had a feeling (BR/N) might be mad at you, and you knew the Raptors might be a bit defensive after this invasion of their territory.
