I know the title gives it way but I'm going to explain anyway.

Unrequited means not returned or rewarded. Usually associated with love, such as a one-sided crush.

Everyone's had some sort of one-sided love story they've either lived through or have had a friend/family member go through. Whether it's with the cute guy/girl who works the cash register at Wal-Mart or that one crush you had on that older student that just doesn't go away, everyone's had one.

(Yes, even you, the one denying it on the corner of Lies and Dishonesty. Don't be ashamed, this is a safe place.)

For this contest, write about an unrequited love story. It can be in any form, but it must be about the struggle of being #foreveralone.
