I don't know about you guys but I am sooooooooooo excited for Christmas! Just something about receiving presents satisfies the inner selfish me that I try so hard to hide....

Anyways, since Christmas is only 2 weeks away, let's kick things off with a Christmas contest! (Cue a chorus of delighted jingle bells.) 

Write a heartfelt, misery-stricken, funny, weird, whatever tale about Christmas. I'm making this one very open so I can get an idea of what you guys are capable of coming up with.

Any genre or theme but it must involve Christmas.

Length: Under 1500 words

Due Date: December 31 at midnight

I forgot to mention this in the introduction but prizes will just be bragging rights or the honor of placing in the top three, unless I say otherwise. I want this to be fun and creative, not reward-driven.
