This one was really fun. Our teacher made us write a bunch of inanimate objects onto a piece of paper and place them into a hat. We then drew two of the objects, and we had to write a love letter between the two objects. This love letter is from a brick to a neck tie. 

I'll be here waiting

At the end of the day when it's all said and done; I'm still waiting

But you; you never wait. You know what you want and you know what your purpose is

You're like glue

Your perfectly entwined arms reach out and they mend

They complete

You're put together; always stoic. When you are needed, you are there

Sure sometimes you may need some coaxing and it may take a couple tries to get things right, but you figure it out

I sit here day in and day out, nothing changes, you're still there and I'm still here

The weight of my own self loathing weighs me down and when it feels like my burden is so much that I can hardly breath and I am being dragged into the earth I look around and I find you, shining like a star and I am complete again

They have tried to pick me up, to bring me back again, but I am anything but weightless

You are the only one capable of lifting me from this mess

But you'll never know me

You'll never see me

You are high above the rest

You are only focused on business

I'll be here waiting, but not you, you don't wait

You are a go getter

Determined to succeed

If only we shared the same determination and strength; then maybe we'd have the chance to meet
