(Yes I know I'm late, and sorry it's a short chapter)

I woke up to my alarm on my phone. I picked it up turning off the alarm. I saw something on my calendar app.

It showed me it was dabi's birthday!

I remembered while going over their files and when their birthdays were and I saved the dates in my phone calendar.

Now I wanted to do something special for my favorite flirty arsonist.

But what...hmmm...

Well even though it's technically my day off I still want to do something with him cause we'll. I can only imagine when was the last time he was able to celebrate his birthday. That kinda saddens me.

'No y/n! Get back on track! What am I going to do!'

I decided to go out and look for something.

"Hey y/n! Going out?"

"Hey maki. Yeah, I just wanna get some fresh air."

"We'll have fun! Don't go too far away from the facility."

"Don't worry I won't!"

You got into your car and drove into town, looking around for something dabi would like but not get in trouble for having.

While walking around I found something I think he would like, I nice fluffy black blanket. The one he has is all torn up and is a thin as paper.

He hates it. But he'll probably love this!

While shopping I bumped into jade

"Hey jade!"

"Hey y/n! What a pleasant surprise."

"Yeah. I wasn't expecting to see you here!"

They joined me for awhile. Then after I got dabi a couple small treats and put the gift back into my
car.

Jade invited me to lunch. To which I gladly accepted. we stopped at a nice resraurant. We mostly chatted while eating some food.

Me and Jade both agreed on our first date that we should start off as friend and develop it into a relationship.

Though we are getting along so well that I think that we'll be more than friends soon.

Me and Jade parted ways and I went to back to the facility. Put dabi's gifts in a box and hide it in my bag. Then made my way off to dabi's room

I made it to his door and silently opened it.

He seemed to be asleep trying to get warmth from the thin, torn up blanket that was going to be replaced

I went over and started poking his cheeks

"Dabi, sweetie~ I got a surprise for you~"

He opened his eyes and yawned

"Heya doc. I thought you had off today?"

"I do. But today is a very special day~"

"Really? What makes today so special?"

"It's somebodies birthday~"

Dabi seemed to be processing what I said. Then he made a face that he finally got it. Then he laughed

"Oh...seems I forgot my own birthday..."

He seemed sadden by it, not on my watch! I pulled the gift out of the bag

"Here you go! Happy birthday dabi!"

He seemed shocked seeing the colorful gift box in my hand

"You...got me a gift?"

"Of course! Also it's just a box made to look like it been carefully wrapped."

He lifted it off and pulled out the blanket

"I noticed how torn up your old one is, so I got you a knew one, I also remember how you get cold easily."

He hugged it tightly and let out a happy sigh

He then noticed the little treat I left in the box for him. He took one out and started eating it happily

He seemed so genuinely happy.

"Thanks doc. This...means a lot to me."

I got up and sat next to him while scratching his scalp

"Your welcome dabi. Happy birthday."

He had me lay down on the bed. Then he got on top of me pulling the blanket over us.

"Can this birthday boy get some cuddles, with his favorite doctor~?"

I pulled him into a hug

"Of course."

I massage his scalp and he slowly fell asleep.

I felt him cuddle up more to me and I smiled, I was happy I was at least able to give him a gift. I just hope soon that he can have a better birthday with his family.
