*Ruby's POV*

I walk into the crowded cafeteria. People are saying goodbye since the winter break is coming. I walk to my table. Ash is sitting there with Albert. I gulp. As I walk to my table. I hear a guy I don't even know say "Way to go, Ruby." I just smile at him. I sit down. "Well, you really just ruined the reputation of Shane Brooks." Ash says. I just laugh lightly. "We are still on tonight's party, aren't we?" Albert asks. Well, I am grounded. But, there is always that window. "Yeah, of course." I say. I sight.

I enter my last class before winter break starts. Biology. I sit in my desk. I look at the door. He is there standing with Louisa. They kiss and then she leaves. I look into my notebook. I got this notebook from Lily in my last birthday. It is a black notebook with sunflowers drawn on it. I write about every person I ever met. How I hated them or liked them. Every person has there own pages. My mom, my dad, Louisa, Peter, Lily, Ash, Albert, my last boyfriend and Tobias. Tobias's pages are long. Too long actually. Longer than I ever written before. I open the page that has his name. I started writing about him since I saw him on that locker. As he walks closer to me, I shut it close. He sits behind me like always. "Well, this is our last class this term. I hope you all have been studying well. And you're working on your projects. Half of your marks in biology belong to this project everyone." Miss Candor says. All the class sights. She starts talking about stuff that might come in the exam that will be after the break. I listen closely till the end of the class. The bell rings which makes everyone rush out without even saying goodbye. I gather my stuff. I walk to the door. "Have a good break, Miss Candor." I say on my way out. She waves at me as I leave.

I walk out of school. I meet up with Ash and Albert. Jimmy stops with his motorcycle in front of us. "See you tonight guys." Ash says as he jumps behind Jim. We both wave at him. "You're walking today as well?" Albert asks. "I don't know." I say. I mean I should work with Tobias. We need to finish that project and presentation. I look at the parking lot. He is standing by his car. Louisa is talking to some girl by the car as well. He is looking at me and Albert. He doesn't look happy. Well, I am not happy he's with my sister as well. I can't believe we are both taking away each other's happiness. We are both so dump. Well, maybe I am dumper but that doesn't mean he would go and date my sister.  "I think I will go with them. I have some project I am working on with Tobias. I will see you tonight." I say. He nods at me with a smile. I walk away without kissing him. He waves at me as I leave. I wave back as I reach the parking lot. I walk to his mustang. He walks up to me. "I am only driving with you because of our project, okay?" I say. He smiles and nods. I just walk to the door. I get in trying hard to wipe that smile that is finding its way to my lips. He gets. "Hey babe, I am driving with Lola. I will get ready for that party by her house. I will see you there." Louisa says as she places a kiss on his lips. "Okay." He says as they pull back from the kiss. She throws me a dirty look. I roll my eyes. She walks away. He looks at me through the mirror. He drives out of the parking lot. "You guys are going to Shane's party?" I ask. "Oh yeah, the whole school is invited." He says. Silence. "Are you going with Albert?" He asks. I look at him. "Yeah with Ash and Jimmy as well." I say. "But Louisa said you're grounded." He says as our eyes meet in the mirror as he stops the car in front of our house. "Well, she doesn't have to know I am coming." I say as I get out of the car. "What makes you think I won't tell her?" He asks as we stand in front of the door. "I trust you, Woods." I say as I am not allowed to call him Tobias anymore because he asked me not to. He smiles at me. I grab the keys and open the door. "Hello?" I call into the house. No one answers back. "Apparently, we are home alone." He says. I roll my eyes. I walk into the kitchen. I find a note on the counter. It says that mom and dad had to work till late and  Peter is having a sleepover. And of course mom warned me about getting out of the house. I roll my eyes. "Where is everyone?" He asks as he walks into the kitchen. "Mom and Dad are working till late. And Peter is having a sleepover." I say as I open the refrigerator. I grab two cans of coke. I close the refrigerator. I place the two cans on the counter. He is sitting around the kitchen table. I walk to the pantry. I grab a bag of chips. I grab the food and place it in front of him. "I am going to grab the stuff." I say as I walk out of the kitchen. I go upstairs and into my room. I pull my hair into a bun instead of a ponytail. I gather the stuff by the door including my laptop. I take off my belt. I take off my sweater. I stare at myself. I walk to my closet. I search for something to wear. I hear the door open. I walk out of my messy closet. He is standing there. "Whoa." He says as he turns to the other side. I look at myself. Shit. I am only wearing my jeans and my bra. Perfect. I grab an oversized black hoodie. I pull it on. I walk into my closet. I take off my jeans and grab a pair of grey sweatpants. I pull them on and walk out of the closet. He's looking at my printed photos. They are placed on the walk. "Is that your boyfriend?" He asks as he points at a picture of me and my ex boyfriend. We were in the summer. I loved that day. "Ex boyfriend." I say as I take the picture off the wall. I stare at it for a minute. "Did he dump you or the other way around?" He asks. I look at him. "He cheated." I say as I place the picture in a drawer. I walk to the door. I grab some stuff. "Let's go?" I say. He walks to me. He grabs the rest of the stuff. We head downstairs.
