*Ruby's POV*

Tobias drives to my house. "Can you wait here?" I ask him. It takes him a while to answer me. He stayed the whole ride silent. Since my call with Albert. I can sense a feeling that Tobias gets jealous whenever I am around Albert. I don't know what came over me. He just lend in for a kiss and I simply let him. Stupid move Ruby. "Why?" He asks at last. "I will just get Peter." I say. He smiles. He likes Peter as much as Peter likes him. So much for two guys that only has girls as siblings and both are the little guys. He nods as I get out of the car. I walk into the house. "Ruby!" I hear mom saying. I can sense anger in her voice. "Why did your school call me today telling me you're not there?" She says as she stands in my way. Her arms are folded in front of her and her foot is taping hard on the floor. "I went to see Tobias." I say with a sight and a hope that I won't get in trouble. "Why didn't you tell me?" She asks. A tip for life, never skip school without your mother knowing. "Sorry?" I say as my arms struggle. She sights. "Ruby!" Peter says as he comes from upstairs. He is wearing a white t-shirt with pair of black jeans. His blue jacket is above his t-shirt. He is holding two bags. "Hey there Pan." I say as I stretch my arms for a hug. He hugs me. "We will go now mom." I say as I hold Peter's hand. "Take car of each other." She says as she kisses each of us goodbye. I take Peter and we head outside to Tobias's car.

"Hey there, Little man!" Tobias says as he hugs Peter tightly. I smile at both of them. "Woods! I missed you." Peter says as Tobias pulls back. "I missed you, too." Tobias says. I get into the passenger's seat. Peter gets into back seat. "Cool car!" Peter says as Tobias opens the car's cover. We both laugh.

We arrive in front of Tobias's house. "This where you live?" Peter says as Tobias parks the car. "Yeah, little man." Tobias says as we get out of the car. We walk to the front door. Tobias opens the door. We enter to find the house full of birthday vibes. Balloons everywhere. The place is more clean than the last time I came here. "Ruby!" I hear a voice m. It is little Anne. She comes running to me. We hug. Tightly. We pull back. "Okay, Anne. This is Peter. My brother." I say as I introduce Peter to here. "And Peter, this is Anne." I say as I introduce her to Peter. Her yellow hair is lose. She is wearing a cute little pink dress with white flowers resting in her golden hair. "Hi, Peter. Nice to meet you." She says as she offers Peter a hand. "Nice to meet you, too. Anne." He  says as they shake hands. "Hey Ruby, Glad you could come." Tessa says as she comes out of the kitchen. She is wearing a V-line neck purple sweater along with black pants. Her brown hair is made into a ponytail. We hug. "Ia m glad I came as well. "Happy birthday, Anne." We hear Peter say as he hands Anne the two gifts. She smiles brightly. "Thank you." She says as she hugs Peter. I smile at them. As my eyes leave them, they meet with Tobias's eyes. He is smiling at me. I smile back softly. I break the eye contact as we head to the kitchen. A big cake with pink frosting is resting on the table. It is lit up with candles. We start to sing the birthdays songs. "Make a wish, dear." Tessa says to Anne before she blows on the candles. She hesitates and then blows them. We all clap in happiness. Tessa cuts the cake and gives each one of us a piece. "Hey come I have a good spot to eat." Tobias whispers to me. I walk after him without anyone noticing. We walk upstairs. We enter his room. "Your room is so messy, Tobias." I say as I look around the messy room. The bed is undone. There is books and clothes on the floor and the bed. "Hold this a second." He says as he gives me his plate. I watch him. He opens the window. He goes out of the window. I walk to the window. "Tobias?" I call him as I look out of the window. "Come on. Give me those." He says as he reaches out for the plates. I give them to him. He places him beside him. He turns back to me. "Take my hand." He says as he offers me his hand. I take it slowly. He grabs me. I sit next to him on the roof of his house. I watch the sky. The moon is a full one tonight. It is so beautiful. "Here." He hands me my plate. I take it. "This is beautiful, Tobias." I say as I look at the sky again. "Yeah, it is." He says. I look at him. He is looking at me. I smile. "What happened today in the car...I am sorry about it." He says all of the sudden. "You know something. You really know how to ruin a moment." I say as I laugh. He laughs back. I am not willing to talk about this now. I look up at the sky. I wonder what is tomorrow having in store for me.

"I had really good time, Woods." Peter says as he gets out of the car. I look at Tobias. "I had good time as well, Tobias. Thank you." I say as I plant a kiss on his cheek. "Oh no problem." He says nervously as his cheeks turn red. "Good night, Tobias."I say as I get out of the car. "Good night." He shouts after me. I wave at him as I get into the house. He waves back then drives away. I go upstairs to my room. Ready to call Lily to tell what mess I got myself into.
