*Tobias's POV*

I wake up and get up as fast as I can. I am happy. I have a good feeling. A feeling that I didn't feel in a while. I take a quick shower and head to the room. I pull on a white T-shirt and black jeans. I grab my leather jacket and head downstairs. I go into the kitchen. My sister is there and her little daughter is having breakfast as always. "Good morning guys." I say as I put on my jacket. "Good morning, big guy." Tessa says as she kisses my cheeks. "I will see you tonight." I say as I head outside the kitchen. "Hey, Woods?" I hear Tessa call after me before I open the door. "Can you tell Ruby that I invite her to Anne's birthday? Anne begged me to bring her." She says with a smile. I smile at the sight of my name. "Okay, I will tell her. Tomorrow, right?" I say. Tessa nods. I kiss her goodbye and head to my mustang hoping.

I arrive at school so excited to meet Ruby. I stand by my car waiting for her mother's car to arrive. The black mini copper stops in front of the school. She comes out of the car. She is wearing her red hair into a bun. She is wearing a grey oversized sweater along with boyfriend jeans. Her bag is hanging on her shoulder. Her sister walks out of the car after her. She is wearing a black skirt and a pink crop top. I wonder how she survives the dress codes with those too short skirts. I stand by my car waiting for Ruby to stand by. But, she doesn't. Weird. She walks straight into the school without even waving at me. I walk after her. She opens her locker. As I start to walk her way, Albert Roberts gets into my way. He stands by her side. As he talks, she closes the locker. I watch them as they chat and laugh. They walk to class together after that. I walk after them. I find that it is her English class. We don't share it. I walk to my stupid gym class with my nerves on fire.

I kept on tripping and falling in the gym class. My mind was all about this morning. I mean we were just friends yesterday and now she just hates me or something? I can't understand her. At all. I change from my gym sweaty clothes to my clean clothes after a fresh shower. I walk to my next class. Biology. At last I will see her. Today is Thursday. At last the freaking weekend. I didn't think I would survive this hell. I walk into the class. Miss Candor hasn't arrived yet. Which gives me time to talk to her. She is sitting on her desk. He head is buried into the same notebook that I saw on her first day here. The sunflowers notebook. I walk to her and grab the notebook. I put my fingers where she was reading or writing, I don't know. "Give that back right now!" She says harshly. I wonder why is she so harsh with me. So cold around me. "What the hell is wrong with you, Ruby?" I ask. She rolls her eyes and grabs her notebook back and turns to face Miss Candor who has just entered class. I am mad. She is crazy. Women are crazy.

"I hope you all are working on your projects. And you will have to make a presentation on what you're doing in the project. You will show it to us with your partners in 2 weeks. Have a good weekend." Miss Candor says as people rush out of the class to their next classes. I watch her as she gathers her stuff. She walks up to Miss Candor's desk. I walk after her. "Hey Miss Candor?" She says. "Yes, honey." Miss Candor says. "Can I switch partners?" She asks. I feel shocked. What the hell?! She wants us to split the team?! What about the half done project? "Why?" I find myself saying suddenly. They both look at me. Like they didn't realize that I was there at all. "So, Miss Candor. Can I?" She asks again as she ignores my question. God damn it! "Miss Clark, may I ask why?" Miss Candor asks her softly. I fold my arms in front of the chest, waiting for her answer. "I am not satisfied with my partner. He lets me do all the work alone." She lies. She is actually lying! "I don't!" I say in a hard tone. "Please come down Mr Woods." Miss Candor orders me. She turns to Ruby. "I am sorry, Miss Clark. But, I can't switch your partner. You guys can talk." She says as she looks at both of us. "Whatever." Ruby says as she walks out of the class full of anger. I turn to walk after her. "Mr Woods?" I hear Miss Candor asking. "Yes." I say as I turn to her. "Is everything alright between you and Ruby?" She asks softly. "Yeah." I lie and then walk out of class. I really don't know what is wrong between us. I mean we were alright before she went to her sister's room. Louisa!

I wait till lunch to talk to Louisa. Even though I don't want to. I walk into the crowded cafeteria. My eyes catch sight of her and Roberts and Ash sitting at one table. Laughing. I roll my eyes trying to hold my anger from going and punching Roberts right in the face. I start to search for Louisa. I find her sitting with Brooks. Wow, she got swept off her feet that fast. I walk towards them. "Louisa?" I call her. They both look up at me. Brooks stands up to face me. "What do you want, Woods?" He says. "I want to talk to you, Louisa." I say as I look at her. "Talk to me, asshole!" I feel his hand grip on my shoulder forcing me to look at him. Louisa stands up. "Shane, let him be." She says as she holds Shane's shoulder. "What do you want, Woods?" She asks as Shane's grip leave my shoulder. "What did you tell Ruby? Why is she ignoring me?" I ask. She laughs lightly. My hands turns into fists. "I just told her about your little crush on me, Tobias." She says. I ignore my name for a second. My crush on her?! I don't have a crush on her. I like Ruby not her stupid sister. "You liar! I don't have a crush on you!" I say as my voice note gets higher. "Chill, bro!" Brooks says with a higher note than mine. "You're a fucking liar! A slut that secured me in your room!" I shout at her. I feel hard fists smash into my face.
