I stop the car in front of her house. "Aren't you coming inside?" She asks. I can't I have to go meet Elite. I need tell her about my father's plans. "I can't. I have got stuff to do." I say as I kiss her hand. "Okay. Take care of yourself." She says as she pecks my lips and jumps out of the car. She waves at me as she gets into the house. I sight as I turn on my engine. I really won't forgive myself if anything happened to her. Specially her.

I stop the car in front of a bar. Very nice place to meet, Elite. Really. I walk into the crowded bar. She sitting with a cup of beer in her hand. I walk up to her. "Hey." She says as we hug. I sit down in front of her. "So?" She asks as she drinks from the beer in her hand. It is weird to meet Elite in a bar and it is also weird to see her drinking. "He threatened to hurt Ruby." I say. "He did?" She asks as she places the empty cup on the counter. I nod while my eyes are fixed on the ground. I am tired of thinking and worrying. Maybe this is why I have never dated anyone. Maybe that's why I have always took caution. Because I can't tell anyone my secrets. Cause they are dark and terrifying. "But, why?" She asks. I sight. "He wants me to deliver him something or he will hurt her." I say. "Don't do it!" She says. "I can't, Elite. I can't let him hurt her. You know he can." I say as I look at her. She places her palm on my cheek. "It will be okay. I will take her for a day in Miami." She says. Her hand is warm and soft against my cheek. "She has a family, Elite. A very nice family." I say as I place my hand on hers on my cheek. She sights deeply. "I will do it. I want you to call the police. They will come to our house as I come with delivery." I say. I have to do this. "Tobias, no! You go to jail!" She says sadly. "There is no other way. No one can know about this. Specially not Ruby. Okay?" I say. She looks at me with eyes full of tears. "I can't let you do this." She says as the tears stream down her cheeks. "I will and you can't stop me." I say. I have already made my mind. Since last night. When I saw Ruby sleeping. She looked so beautiful and peaceful. I won't let anyone or anything hurt her. I can't. "Promise me, she won't know, Elite." I say. She shakes her head with more tears streaming. "Please." I say as I hold her hand between mine. She sniffs. "I promise." She says with a sight. "Thank you." I say as I wipe the tears from her face. "When it will happen?" She asks as her face rest against my palm. "On prom night. Two weeks from today." I say with a sight. I am sad cause I won't be able to give Ruby the prom night any girl deserves. "On prom?!" She says in an even more sad voice. I nod sadly. "I am so sorry, Tobias. She says as she throws her arms around my neck. She hugs me tightly. It reminds me of the past. When we used to play. She was one of my friends. My only friend. "It is okay." I say as I hug her back.

I go into the house. Since Tessa isn't here anymore. The house is a mess. There is no food. I find him sitting with Alissa in the kitchen. "I will do it. But, you can't hurt anyone." I say. He looks at me with a smirk. "Okay, boy." He says as he lets out smoke from his cigarette. I leave the kitchen with a lot of anger. This is the right thing. It was always meant for me to not live a good life. To properly end up in jail. To not have a family or a job. To have no one. No can enter my life without getting hurt. I lay in bed. I open my phone. I click on the photos icon. I go through the pictures. I notice a couple of pictures. It is pictures of me and Peter. Her brother. I smile at the pictures. I felt like a part of their family. She lit up my life. Even the couple of days that I spent with Louisa weren't that bad. She has here own personality. I sight as I hit my head into my fits. I am so fucked up. So fucked up.

I wake up on my phone's ringtone. I grab the phone from the nightstand. I place it on my ear. "Tobias, where are you? You missed the first class. Are you okay?" Her sweet voice comes through my phone. "Hey." I say in a sleepy voice as I sit straight on the bed. "Hey. You okay?" She asks. "I am. I just overslept. I am on my way." I say. "Okay, love ya bye." She says as she closes the line. I smile. I look at the phone. "I love you, too." I say as I smile at the phone. I take a quick shower. I pull on my jeans along with a dark blue hoodie and I head to my car. I drive to school.

As I arrive I go into the school. I have biology now. I run through the empty hallways. I knock on my way into the class. "You're late, Mr Woods". Miss Candor says. "I am sorry." I say with a nod. I walk to my place. "Did you study?" She turns as she looks at me. Her hair is loose. She looks so beautiful. She's wearing a dark red sweater. I look at the necklace around her neck. I smile as I notice the music note. "Tobias?" She says to snap me from looking at her. "Yeah yeah." I say as she nods and looks back to the front. She looks so good from the back. Miss Candor puts a paper on my desk. "Hope you studied, Mr Woods". She says as she walks away. Shit. Study? Fuck fuck. I have my biology final today. Shit.
