*Tobias's POV*

I stop the car in front of Ash's house. "Thanks. I am actually starting to like you, Tobias." He says. "Don't call me that, will you?" I say as my heart ache on the mention of my name. "Oh, Okay." He says. It has always been weird to ask people not to call me by my name. "Bye." He says as he opens the door and walks to his house. I wave at him as he closes the door behind him. I start the engine and drive away.

"I am home." I say as I walk into the house. I walk into the kitchen. The smell of the fried chicken sneak into my nose. Anne is sitting with her pink pjs on the kitchen table. Her hair is made into two pigtails. "Oh. Hey." Tessa says as she turns to look at me. She kisses my cheeks. I kiss her back. I sit at the table. "So where is he?" I ask. She knows exactly I am talking about our father. "He went out with Alissa." She says. "Oh. The stripper." I say as I roll my eyes. "What is a stripper?" Anne asks. "Oh god! Anne don't say that!" Tessa says with a glare at me. I roll my eyes again. She places a plate of fried chicken and pasta. She sits next to Anne to help her eat. I just stare at my food. I think about Ruby. She is all I think about every now and then. It kinda annoys me. Because I know I can't have her. She doesn't like me that way. I think about the perfect details in her. How her hair flies behind her as she rides my mustang. How her green eyes slightly close as she laughs. How her white teeth blend with her orange reddish lips color. "Uncle Tobi?" Anne's voice grabs my attention. Snaps me away from my thoughts. "Yes, Anne?" I say as I grab my fork and start eating. "Isn't your beautiful friend coming back?" She asks. I wonder if she is talking about Ruby. "You mean the one that came yesterday?" I ask as I take a bite from my chicken. "Yeah. She is so beautiful." She says. I smile at her. "I will tell her you want to see her." I say. She smiles at me. "Yeah you're right Anne. She is beautiful." I say under my breath as I smile at my plate with my thoughts going back to her.

I wake up on the sound of my phones alarm. I grab the phone and shut off the alarm. I rub the sleep form my eyes. "Breakfast is ready!" I hear Tessa's voice from downstairs. I get up and walk into the bathroom. I open the water. I feel it through my hair. I grab the towel and put it around my waist. I get out of the bathroom. I grab my black jeans. I grab a grey hoodie. I brush my hair to the back with my hand. I grab my shoes and head downstairs. I enter the kitchen. Anne in her uniform is eating cereal. Tessa in her work suit and heels is making Anne's lunch. Dad is smoking a cigarette in the window. Alissa is painting her nails at the table. I sit down and start to put on my shoes. I len down to tie the shoes. I get up to find a plate with a cheese sandwich resting in it. I grab it and take a bite while throwing Tessa smile of affection. I get up with the sandwich still in my hand. I kiss both Tessa and Anne goodbye and head to my mustang. I drive smiling to school.

I park my mustang as I watch Ruby's mom's car stop. She walks out of the car. He red hair is tied into a ponytail. She is wearing pair of ripped jeans alone with a black hoodie. The hoodie has "I AM GOING TO K-I-S-S- YOU." written on it with yellow font. The same pair of black vans are resting into her foot. I really wish if she can kiss me. Her sister walks out after her. She is totally different. She is wearing a short skirt. I think that she will get a dress code alert. She is also wearing a pink crop top. Her black hair is curled and loose on her shoulders. She is wearing high heels. She looks a lot like the girls in our school. Those girls that "Oh my god! Woods! Hi." Her voice says. That do that. Ruby rolls her eyes. I kinda of want to roll my eyes too. "Good morning Woods." Ruby says as she shakes my hand. "I will see you around, Louisa, right?" I says. She just screams. "Oh god. Cut the shit Louisa." Ruby says. I smirk a little. Her sister rolls her eyes. She gives me a little wave and walk away. "How do you stand this? It is hell!" Ruby says as we walk inside. I just laugh.

"Hey Ash." I say as Ash walks up to us at the lockers. "Hey lovebirds." He says. I look at Ruby. She rolls her eyes. I kinda feel sad. Why won't she even consider it as a joke? Am I that bad? The bell rings sending everyone to there classes. "See you, Woods. We both have English." Ash says as he grabs Ruby's hand and they walk together to their English class. I just walk alone to my Math class. God this sucks. I just sit at the very back. Sometimes I just never give a damn about my studies. Our family don't really own enough money for me to enter college. I will just be off to work after high school. Even if I did fail. It won't really matter. I just bury my head into my arms on the desk. Trying to get some sleep instead of listening to this stupid shit.

I walk out of class ready to meet Ruby again. I walk to my locker. Thankfully, she is there. But,  she is not alone. Wait? Is that? I stop right at my place. "Yeah. I knew you would be surprised, Woods." Ash says. My eyes don't move. My eyes are fixed on her and that dummy talking to her. They are laughing! "Albert Roberts. The school's third sweat heart after you and Brooks. But, he is sweet." Ash says. He is right. Albert Roberts is a sweetheart. He doesn't sleep with girls. But, he actually steals their hearts by his good looks and sweetness.
