*Ruby's POV*

I walk out of school with Ash. I am glad he is feeling better now. I am also glad that I slapped  Tobias Woods. The school's most loved boy. I find Mom's car parked in front of the school. Louisa is sitting in the front seat. "Hey, Wanna come over?" I ask Ash as we walk to Mom's car. "Are you sure?" He asks me. "Of course, dumbass. Mom and Dad will be glad I made a friend on my first day." He smiles. "Okay, why not?" He says still smiling. "Hey Mom." I say as we get into the car. "Mom, this is Ash Montoro. My new friend." I say as I look at him. "Oh hi honey. Nice to meet you, Ash." Mom says as she starts the engine of the car. I see Louisa rolling her eyes. "Nice to meet you too, Miss Clark." Ash says. "I like your Mom." He whispers to me. I smile to him.

"We are home." I say as we enter the house. Mom just dropped us and left. She said she still has a lot of work. Louisa walks to the stairs. "You better put that hoodie into the washing machine, Louisa. Or I swear to god I" "What are you going to do? Slap me like you slapped Woods?" She says with a smirk. Yeah, of course she saw that. The whole school did. "I thought it was cool tho." Ash says as he puts his hand on my shoulder. I smile to him. "Yeah yeah. Whatever." Louisa says as she goes upstairs to her room. "Just ignore her. She's annoying." I say as we go to my room. "Nice room, girl!" He says as he jumps on the bed. "Thanks." I say as I close the door. I change into a black sweater. I let my hair lose. I take off my vans and sit on the bed next to the laying down Ash. He gets up. He walks to the mirror. He grabs a red nail polish and walks back to the bed. "You mind?" He asks. I shake my head. He sits next to me and starts painting his nails. "So, tell me about you Ruby?" He says still putting nail polish. "What do you wanna know?" I ask. He applies the nail polish good tho. "Why can't you date anyone at the moment?" He asks as he looks at his painted hands. "Me and my friend back in Canada made a vow." I say. He looks at me with a shock face. "A vow for not dating?" He asks. "Yeah. Well. I used to have a boyfriend. I knew him since middle school. We started going out together in freshman year. Then I found out he cheated on me last year. I was so sad. And Lily my friend back there decided to stop dating just like me for our senior year only." I say. "Well, I can't see the point. But, that guy it is his loss, girl. You're so beautiful." Ash says as he smiles at me. I smile back. "What about you? Ever had a boyfriend?" I ask. "Well. No. But, I like someone." He says. His cheeks turn red. "Ooo. Who? Is he hot?" I ask. He laughs lightly. He grabs his phone and opens the photos. He shows me a picture of a guy wearing a yogurt shop uniform. He has kinda dark skin. His hair is dark brown. It is pulled back in a ponytail. His eyes are narrow and hazel. He has a very muscular body and a sharp jawline. "Well. You have got a good taste in men." I say as we start laughing. "He works at the yogurt shop that lies in the middle of California. I could take you there sometime." He says as he looks at the photo and starts dreaming. I smile as I grab my phone and check it. I find a video sent to me from an unknown number. "Hey, Ash is that you?" I ask him as I show him the number. "Nah, girl. What did they sent you?" He asks. "I don't know." I say as I open the video. It is a video of me slapping Woods. Damn. I slapped him hard. Well, he asked for it. He insulted Ash and then insulted me, too. "That was a good slap, tho. Girl." Ash says as he laughs. "He actually got ice for it." I say as we both laugh hard.
